I really do enjoy going to this Longhorn whether it's just for a beer or if it's for an actual meal. The staff here is very accommodating and they always seem like they go out of their way to make you have a good experience. I know that Longhorns is a few extra dollars and some of the other chain places in the area but experience in food wise you do get what you pay for The past few times that I've been to this Longhorn. I've gone here just to have a few beers. The Longhorn is a classier place to eat dinner or to have a beer the bartender is very good and knowledgeable. This long horns horns offers a happy hour with five dollar draft beers during the happy hour times Beer wise they had a good amount on tap. They had to Domestic and imported beers. All of their beers were kept in the ice if it was not bottled. Longhorns does use a frosted mug which is really cool because your beer tends to stay a lot colder in a frosted mug that it does just in a regular bottle The beer that I ended up having because it was in a frosted mug had developed and ice layer in between the the beer and the phone and it kept the drink very very cold the whole entire time I was drinking it The one thing that I like about Longhorns in general is that their food is different than some of the other chain restaurants. Longhorns obviously is a steak place but they do have salads and chicken sandwiches as well their steaks include a couple of different options that range from a fillet style steak with bacon and you can get all sorts of different stuff thrown on top to just a regular flank steak simply marinated and a side of french fries. They also have a loaded baked potato which is a giant baked potato. I has all sorts of good stuff on it you can get it with bacon cheese. Every time that you do come in for dinner at Longhorns they bring a basket of warm bread out with butter. Longhorns a little bit more romantic for a chain place although I do still see kids eating in here but I also see a lot of older couples and couples in general just going here to get a nice meal and sit down and talk. Overall I highly recommend coming to this Longhorns whether it's just for a drink or if you're actually staying here to eat a meal the staff is very nice and very accommodating and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here on multiple occasions.

Excellent food and service. It's on the expensive side, but it is also amazing.

I ate here with my daughters Girl Scout troop. 7 girls, 2 adults. The waitress was fantastic, she made sure the girls had full drinks, she checked on us enough but was not overly intrusive. The girls split meals, they had the 4 cheese pasta and steals. Everyone loved the meal!! I highly recommend doing the call a head seating, instead of 40 min wait, we only had to wait 10 min. Great place for a great steak!

My mother and I were staying in the area and needed a good place to eat at after a long drive. We couldn't have picked a better place. It was very busy and we have about an hour or so wait but it was totally worth it. The waitress was super nice and it was obvious that she was working very hard to get her job while they were that busy. I got a burger and it was one of the best I've ever had. My mother ordered a filet and it was so tender she didn't even need her knife to cut it.She had the watermelon margarita to drink and said it was great. Even the bread they bring you at the beginning is tasty! Very good price for fantastic food and service even when they're swamped with people.

Went here for easter. Very good dinner. Got the steak with mushrooms and was made to order perfectly. I visited family up north and when I am back I plan to go back. Staff was also very nice considering it was a holiday.

Went here to eat before Froggy Fest on Sunday. The service wasn't bad. We did have to ask for our waiter in order for him to take our cards. But that was because we were in somewhat of a hurry to make it the concert. The food was alright. It's tasty but I feel it's a bit over priced for what you actually receive. I had a few Jack and Cokes with my dinner. I ordered the Crispy Jalapeño Shooters described on the menu as "Three-cheese stuffed jalapeños. Served with avocado-lime dip." I thought they meant Three-cheese, as in different types of cheeses, what they really meant was 3 jalapeños with dip in a shot glass. I also had the Grilled Chicken & Avocado Sandwich this is a flat-bread sandwich with tomatoes, red chili ranch, avocado spread and colby jack. It was okay. It came with a lot of fries, I couldn't finish them all. Not the best meal I've ever had, not the worst. Ended up paying around $40 with the tip so it was an expensive lunch.

Ok. So I know it's a chain, blah blah blah. I was there this week for a meeting with two of my bosses from out of town. The service we received was amazing. I forget what the pm manager's name was (Jessica maybe? idk) One of our party's steak wasn't right bit she bent over backwards and went above and beyond. I mean almost excessive. Never expected such good service. (If that's not her name, correct me please)

I always try to avoid chain restaurants, but I've never been disappointed with a meal from Longhorn. I love their white cheddar and bacon stuffed filet. The table-side steak sauce is a must! Luckily the first time I ordered it the waiter explained the process. The dish contains a 500 degree coal and then they add garlic, orange rind and rosemary (might also be other herbs) and then their steak sauce. Unfortunately no other waiters or waitresses ever explain it. I wish they would all make a point to because it's a really nice touch and makes the whole "table-side" aspect of it complete.

Never got to eat because manager made an error with reservation and then laughed it off. We had 16 people coming in for a birthday dinner (for a 91 year old) from up to 3 hrs away. Called in the reservation the night before and manager took the reservation. Showed up early to no reservation. The manager who took the reservation made no apologies, couldn't articulate what had occurred and laughed it off stating we could wait for an hour and we might get a table. I get the waiting part and that mistakes are made. But his attitude failed to meet the basic standards of customer service. Reflects poorly on the chain.

I had a bad service experience here. I arrived at 4 pm, and even though the seating area was completely empty on one side, I was given a pager and told to wait 5-15 minutes. Trying to get me to by a drink at the bar at 4 pm?? Understaffed? No clue as to the reason. When called, I was given a seat in a high traffic area, despite that one half of the restaurant was still completely vacant. By the time I left, the previously empty side was now full. I have no idea why we had to sit at the lousy table when better seats were available. As for the food, it is generally good. I can't eat their steaks because they put too much pepper & other spices on it for me, but others might like that. I stick to the Chicken Parmesan with mac & cheese, which has always been good. The bread is good, and usually served warm. They put way too much salad dressing on the salad, and I keep forgetting to ask for it on the side, so I end up not finishing it.

Interesting decor. Reminds me of a rustic cabin. Even a buck or two hanging on the wall. Atmosphere was great. We had a big group (10+) and each time, the staff was awesome and super accommodating. The sangrias are massive and yet oh so yummy. I highly recommend after a long day of shopping or the water park. A must if you are looking for some good food in the area.

We had a great experience when stopping in for dinner during a trip to NY a few months back. We got off at this exit ONLY because they had a Longhorns which is one our favorite restaurant chains. The staff was exceptional and very friendly. I personally love the Longhorn menu and this Team really created a great dining experience for us. We have been loyal Longhorn fans for over 10 years but from time to time we have a hit or miss experience based on how the particular chain is managed. The Scranton Longhorn is the "real deal" and they are the best of the best if you are looking for a great Steak for under $25.

This LongHorn is typical Darden mediocrity where you can never get the food and the service to be good at the same time on the same night. We were there this past Friday and there were some hits but also one big miss. We were seated immediately and our server "J" was over right over and took our drink/appetizer order promptly as she was excellent and very enthusiastic the whole time we were there. The appetizer came quickly and it was hot and delicious. Then came the first big miss. I guess in a hurry to turn tables faster this location had three or four people circling like buzzards taking anything that they deemed dirty/finished off your table while not exactly asking. So as we are still eating our last Chicken Wrap, old buzzard #1 comes over and just takes the plate with the dipping sauce and says "Oh, I guess you're done with that" after she's already walking away with the plate. WTF? This also was happening with other tables where people would put their silverware down for a minute or two to take a drink/talk with their table mates and before you know it the buzzards are over asking if they were done and if they could take their plates and more than one person was less than civil in their reply but the buzzards kept doing it anyway. Back to the meal. Our main course of a Filet and a Filet and Lobster Tail were both decent although both Filet's had their fair share of Grizzle and Shizzle on them which had to be manicured off before eating but overall they were both good. The food itself was decent, although the baked potatoes were a bit salty, and our server "J" was fantastic. The real downside was just the buzzards from the host/bus staff that made people feel a bit on edge with their pushiness and persistence at wanting to almost rip the plates and food from your hands to "help" speed things up for the next seating. Next time we're in the area we might be back but we'll sit at the bar or somewhere where the buzzards can't harass us at.

Stopped in on a Tuesday night for a quick bite. Very nice place, clean, ate at the bar, bartender was very nice. I had the T-bone, wow overseasoned, was tremendously salty. Most steaks I have I always feel less is better, if you have a great cut of beef the flavor will come out without pouring a ton of salt or trying add smoke flavoring. Bread was warm and good, had a mixed green salad that was good and a sweet potato that was excellent. Although the bartender was nice and so was the server, I could hear the staff either bored or unintrested in anything were loud in the back. Hesistant to go back, I have been to the outback and the t-bone I had here reminded me of the smoked flavoring they use instead of just grilling a good cut of meat. My recommendation is to go elsewhere if you want a really good steak.

You won't find a better chain in the area at an affordable price. Dinners come with a salad, but you could substitute an additional side instead. Side portions are large and the vegetables are always fresh and delicious. Steak is almost always cooked to the right temperature. I usually get the Sirloin and shrimp...8 large shrimp in garlic butter and 6 oz sirloin. Comes with rice pilaf, salad, and a side for $16! Though the filet on the t bone steak is a little on the skimpy side, I recommend that as well. I do find that some nights the food is better than others. Like any restaurant, it depends on the cooks who are scheduled...but Mondays are definitely better than Sundays. Also, the bacon and cheddar stuffed fillet that my dad ordered barely had any bacon or cheese and looked like someone shoved their thumb in the middle of it. Other than that, everything else that we've ordered was fine and is one of the only chains my family and I will invest money in for dinner.

Overall, I had a good divine experience here at Longhorn. Nothing as spectacular but nothing was sub par either. Aim had the Sierra Chicken, and the salsa that was included was very good. It was, not, spicy but had plenty of fresh tomatoes and garlic in it, so it,had plenty of flavor. My wife was craving a burger (the deciding factor in why we came here), and she enjoyed,it. It was cooked exactly as she ordered,it. I was surprised at how busy they were. It was the Friday after Christmas, so that may explained it. With that in mind, our service was a little slow. Because of this I couldn't give Longhorn 4 stars, and getting a burger and baked chicken is not too hard to get wrong. If I eat here again and get something like a steak and they deliver, then I would up my rating to 4 stars. Overall from my first experience here, themLonghorn Steakhouse is a good value for your money.

Friendly and attentive staff with quality food and reasonable prices. Great chain with great food. Ribs and margaritas are a must-have.....as well as the sweet potato with butter and brown sugar. Mmmmmmm.

The Perfect Margarita was good. Nothing special. The steak was fantastic. I had the Flo's Filet, and it was amazing. Tender, juicy, so good I made my husband go there two weeks in a row, and I can't wait to go again.

Chain restaurant, wild west decor. Yeah, in Pennsylvania. I ordered the salmon, which was good, but the rice seemed to have been salted twice and the steamed vegetables not at all. Oh, well. Everyone else -- Lana and another couple -- had the sense to order red meat in a steakhouse. All of them agreed that their meals were very good. The beer list was adequate and the margaritas were good. Too bad the management has never heard of Tex Ritter or The Sons of the Pioneers. Perhaps, these days, most people consider their music a bit hoakie, but hoakie would have matched the decor and it would have been a much better choice than the irritating music we were treated to.

We are LongHorn regulars! The service is fantastic, the waitresses treat us like family, the prices are affordable and the quality of the food is the best we've had from a chain restaurant like this. The only complaint is the long wait on the weekends.. But I guess that's just a sign of how great this place really is.

Being a Darden brand, this is the Olive Garden of steakhouses. It's nowhere near the level of its stablemate, the Capital Grille, but is generally at least adequate in most respects. Considering the competition, however, it simply doesn't offer enough for me to justify dining there. This Longhorn is more about convenience and predictability than anything else. I've been here two or three times and can't even remember what I had. Dinner at Texas Roadhouse is more fun, costs less, tastes better and is without pretense. However, if you need to stay in the Montage Mountain area, AV is close by and offers much better food and atmosphere for similar prices.

The Longhorn in Moosic is pretty standard of the chain. The food was good, the beer was cold and the staff was always very friendly. While in the area for work for several months we were in this Longhorn on a weekly or better rate, to the point we knew the staff and they knew us by name. If you go say hi to Mo the bartender for me.

Totally surprised by this place! To start with, the warm multigrain bread is very good. The salads came out fresh and crisp and the dressings were excellent. Then the salmon dinner over rice was delicious! Very fresh and seasoned and cooked perfectly. The side dishes were fresh vegetables seasoned well. Finally dessert was an extra moist and warmed Ghirardelli brownie with vanilla ice cream. Superb! Not a negative thing to say about anything we had here!

We like to have our family New Year's Eve dinner at this LongHorn. Needless to say it was very crowded. We were told the wait would be at least an hour to 1.5 hours. We e were called in a little over 30 minutes. The porterhouse for 2 was prepared perfectly and the steak sauce was made at our table was great ( and we don't usually even like steak sauce) Our server Tim was attentive and kept bring my daughters their bottomless iced teas. I highly recommend this restaurant for the great service in spite of the large # of people.

It's among the best chain restaurants in the area (and I'm tough on chain establishments). In my opinion, Long Horn dominates its price point and puts a lot of local places to shame. The appetizers are great values for the price, in addition to being delicious. The service has always been fast and the steak is done to perfection every single time. It's designed to be flavorful- maybe a little salty, but still great. Desserts are phenomenal, I've only had better at much more expensive restaurants. I've been going here for a couple years now and I'm having a lot of trouble believing the negative reviews. I don't know of comparable full package meals combined with great service for these prices anywhere in the general area

Overall it is okay. My salad with salmon was actually pretty good and a good value for $13.99. The bread was delicious and fresh! I like what another reviewer said...service and food need to get it together...you get one or the other! Since my food was good...service was not. I had to flag the bartender down each time I wanted something. she never came by to offer me another wine, refill my water, I needed more dressing, etc. I sat down before a few others at the bar and she lost track of who was next. The bar was pretty full...mostly business travelers eating dinner alone like myself. I had only been to Longhorn one other time for lunch at a different location and thought lunch was pretty good. Not sure I would go out of my way for it but it seemed to be a decent place if one is near by.
