Not a bad pizza shop in an area riddled with pizza shops. The service was fast, and the people are so very friendly. Food was average pizza shop fare. Nothing stood out, but it works if you're in the area.

My favorite Italian Restaurant. Just came in for a quick pizza lunch. Everything I eaten here has been great. Love the Manicotti. Nice thing is I can walk here from my apartment. Will especially be a blessing when bad weather hits PA! Nice people, good food, what more do you need. Oh & they have a full bar, oh my!!!!! ;-)

I eat here everytime I'm in the Area. Great Pasta Dishes, Great Pizza and excellent beer on tap. Great environment, open kitchen and great take-out. Bruno's Resturant in Lititz is great as well, it has a dining room, large take-out beer selection and excellent food. Menu: cafecapricciopizzeria.co…

I like this place. Nice beer selection, nice bar, good amount of seating, clean, and the staff is friendly and personable and you can tell they really want to make this place a success. I *want* to like it more and give it 4 stars, but there is one BIG adjustment they need to make in my opinion, and I say it's big because it has to do with their pizza. And that adjustment is this: more is NOT always more. Sometimes LESS is more. They simply put too much of everything on the pizza, to the point where by the time you're in to your second slice, everything's getting pretty droopy and soupy. It's so heavy with everything, you can't even make a nice 'pizza fold.' If you get a supreme pan, things get messy pretty fast. In fact, they could probably cut down a little on toppings and lower the price just a little. Now, I will say that because of this, their pizza hold up GREAT as leftovers the next day. After being in the fridge and firming up a bit, it's great. I hope somebody from Cafe Capriccio reads this and takes it to heart. Would love for them to stick around and keep getting better. There are tons of pizza places in Mount Joy and E-town, but not much near Marietta. (Don't care much for the greasy pizza place at the corner of 441 and Maytown Road, yuck).

SOOOOO disappointed with my latest experience. Considering that there are only 3 main places to get pizza's in this little area, they are usually the #1 to call. I realize calling on a Friday is a busy time, but when they say 15 minutes, I wait 20. My large half pepperoni, med white pizza and side order of OR took about 45-50 mins. and this was a carry out order. Maybe I wouldn't of minded if the owner wasn't busy entertaining HER guests at the bar and barely acknowledging the delay with my order and the other woman, who had daggers in her eyes, while also waiting BEFORE me. Unfortunately, waiting as long as I did, I was able to "admire" the dust-coated, cob webs all throughout the neon signs that sat over a bar table, hair on two of the tables, and was just so lucky to see the delivery person come in, handle and count money and then proceed to assist in the kitchen.....And the thing of it all, is that the food was probably the best I had in my many times there, although after waiting that long, anything would've been great! I am hoping that this business that was once a energetic and new, can get cleaned up and have someone in there that cares about ALL the patronage that comes there, and can keep the consistency going with their food! They have a potential gold mine there....

In comparison to the other local places I've eaten, Cafe Capriccio was pretty good. Good calzones and quick turnaround for takeout. In the custom strombolis, don't order too many veggies if you're expecting to get a lot of meat, also. We paid for extra toppings included in the boli but she was a bit disappointed to find a majority of peppers and onions when she really wanted extra pepperoni and ham. Since it's so close, however, we will definitely be ordering from here again.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
