Love the drive thru on cold and rainy days!

This Starbucks gets it right sometimes. The problem is it's a drive through and I've noticed mistakes with my drinks several times after I've already driven away. For this reason they need to try extra hard to get it right! It's not that hard! I used to work at Starbucks I know! Twice they flat out did not put the flavor syrup for the drinks I ordered, once my hot drink was cold, and several times they did not add the extra shot I ordered. For so many mistakes to come out of one Starbucks it's clear the management hasn't trained their staff effectively and they do not do drink quality tests with their baristas. I know a lot of people think "oh it's just coffee it's not a big deal" well I think " it's just coffee so it's not that hard to get right"

This location is a 50/50 chance in service. Most of the employees are very friendly and gives you the overall welcome when you come in the store or come in their convenient drive-thru. But I am not writing this review to state the good facts. I am a coffee lover and I expect to feel welcomed when I come in. I make a coffee run almost everyday and it is practically one of the first things I do everyday. I had a terrible experience with one of the employees. I had asked her to recommend me a drink and what she thought about the new espresso drinks. This girl rolls her eyes and says," what do you want, it's not that hard to choose." You all can see, I am not a fan of this place but I gave it 2 stars because everything and everyone else is great.

I love an Italian roast on the clover but the barista told me that she would have open a new bag for it and then asked if I still wanted it so I was kinda confused because I didn't know if she wanted me to pay for the bag or just say no thanks. So I just ended up with a tall coffee -_-

Terrible location, backs drive thru traffic up in the street so you cant pull into the back parking lot. Still, service is decent, one slower dude there kinda void of personality but the other Batista's have been kind, helpful and smiley. No complaints, after all, it is still Starbucks.

Ok, normally I wouldn't review a Starbucks, but here we are. This location is a nightmare. Nightmare drive-thru, nightmare inside, nightmare people. The drive-thru was 10 people deep and actually blocking thru-way traffic in the shopping center. So, I decided to go inside.... this place is entirely too small for the volume of people in line. The line had wrapped through and around the unkempt tables and chairs of the seating area. Why?? Behind the counter is just a nightmare too. Why are there literally 7 people working back there? Seems like it's overstaffed and complicating things since each person seemed to be kind of doing their own thing. And the staff were unbelievably rude. The lady in front of me order 2 of the same sandwiches - they forgot one. When it was ready, it was sort of tossed onto the drink pickup area from over the barista's shoulder. Weird and rude.

Formerly a bank, this Starbucks suffers from its isolated location, it's lack of ambiance, and frequently poorly trained staff. Failing to install weather entry double doors, be prepared to freeze inside in the winter, feel blasts of hot air in the summer. With an entire shopping center of empty space, this business crams customers into an uncomfortable space with cheap bench like wood chairs. The only reason to go here is its monopoly coffee status in Burtonsville.

Slow service, and the barista that made our drinks was very rude and didn't clarify that our drinks were made with soy or dairy. Good thing I had a Lactaid with me since I am lactose intolerant which is the main reason I go to Starbucks. Please fix your service! There is no need for yelling in such a small space.

Not a bad location. Its like the only retail business left in that shopping center, because the Giant owns the old anchor store at the end and blocks other supermarkets from buying or renting there so as not to compete with their new Giant across the way. This starbucks serves all of Burtonsville and has the drive through and walk in area. Again parking is never a problem because there is literally a whole shopping center parking lot that services this Starbucks. People there are nice. Service is swift.

I've been to quite a few starbucks. I think I go maybe 3 times a week, Every starbucks that I've gone to has been good. customer service, and speed. I went to this particular one at 4.20. Very empty. However. the two people working in the back were extremely slow. This particular location has a drive thru window, but no cars. I waited at the register and it took them a little longer that I thought it should have considering they weren't doing anything to help anyone else. Anyways, I ordered iced black coffee. that has to be one of the easiest things to do. just pour, scoop ice, and put the lid on. I was browsing their food window and debating whether or not to get a salad. I read the ingredients and finally chose to get a salad. my drink was not out yet. When it finally did come out, the guy said "you're getting this too?" I said yes, and he was ringing the "new" order on the register. He messed up and said oh fuck......Very professional. he swiped my card and gave it back. no eye contact. no thank you. no have a good day. i just stood there. maybe expecting some receipt. I said thank you and he said okay without even turning around. I went to get my straw, and realized i didn't have a fork for the salad. the forks were chillin behind the counter. I asked for the fork and he gave it to me without a word. this is absolutely the worst starbucks I've ever been to. I will not be coming back to this place

I stopped in last night, the place had customers and two employees however the place was a wreak, dimly lit and, dirty tables and the condiment bar was a disaster. I went to order a def caf coffee and was told none was brewed and I could do a americano or basically a sanka packet. I have been to several Starbucks and this was really downhill. The final straw was no wifi, seems its been down for a few days.

My go-to Starbucks, as it is literally 5 minutes from my house. The service is good, although they can be slow at times. Overall, they make good coffee and the inside is usually not crowded. I love the drive-thru option.

The drive through design could be better, but they where fast and nice. The inside environment was good. Good outdoor seating with a roof. The rest of the place is pretty deserted(also not easy to spot without searching online for it)... usual a Starbucks brings in more customers for the surrounding community. This does not seam to be the case in this instance.

Not my favorite Starbucks by any means. Can be drab inside. Temperature is always too cold. In the past service has been less than 100 percent Starbuckian. But they do get plus one star for having a drive thru!

Man, this tough but I have to do it. this is by far the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. After waiting in the drive thru for almost ten minutes. I got my light iced coffee and it was terrible. the last three times were not that great either! I love Starbucks. Just not this location. the wait is always too long then to have your order either wrong or just nasty! Today was the last straw for this one. If I'm that desperate again there is a 7-11 up the street. Only other alternative is to drive a few miles out of my way to another Starbucks. Maybe I'm spoiled. i live in Glen Burnie and Starbucks there is always busy, but still has speedy and great service.

Stopped into my local Starbuck's for some tea when I was sick. I got the Zen Green Tea ( Green suggested by a very cute customer behind me. More on that...) This Starbuck's in located in the dying Burtonsville Shopping Center. One of the few stores left. It does good business though. For a small place that gets traffic from both entryways it keeps busy. The drive-thru is convenient and the small patio area next to it is covered and very convenient. The lounge area is big enough (by Starbuck's standards) and it's rectangular, which is nice. Not enough outlets for energy, but enough. There are always cuties coming into the place so I do enjoy a little people-watching. I don't go to Starbuck's often, but when I do, I come here. One annoying thing though is the flies that buzz around inside the place. Def. a turn-off and enough to knock this rating down a Star.

I just left the drive thru about forty minutes ago and wish I'd tasted my drink before I pulled off. The customer service was good, but my drink is horrible and they didn't have any of the pastries I tried to order. Imo it's a little too early to be out of everything. I ordered a caramel apple spice, no whip, extra caramel. I received hot apple juice, that's it. It doesn't taste or smell like there's any cinnamon dolce syrup or caramel in the drink. If I wanted warm apple juice I would've purchased a bottle from Wegmans and thrown it in a pot at home.

I was surprised to see a Starbucks in this shopping center. I didn't see another open store in there and was completely surprised a Starbucks would be in that type of environment. Nevertheless the service was great and the drinks perfect.

It's Starbucks. You know what you're getting into. This particular location is fairly spot on for service... most of the time. It seems to be a training site, though, as they have a decent amount of turnover. Most of the staff are engaging and amiable, though, but don't expect an hour long conversation when they get really busy. This location is no better or worse than most, though. I'm a regular by necessity (if that word applies), but I honestly can't complain.

...and yet, I still keep trying. The ordering seems to have gotten a little better, but the staff seems to have gone downhill. Once upon a time, this Starbucks employed what I would consider a more distinguished group of workers. Mature, customer focused, etc. Now, it seems like each time I go, there are a group of teenagers behind the counter laughing, throwing things at one another, and loudly complaining to each other about customers (who had just left) in front of other patrons.

DO NOT GO HERE. Let me start off by first saying that I used to come to this Starbucks at least 3x per week. Let's calculate the profit they are making off of me alone....at $5 per drink, I'd say they are making a PRETTY PENNY off of customers like me who are LOYAL and come to this Starbucks multiple times per week. Within the last few weeks, I think they hired new management or something and obviously new employees because they are TERRIBLE. I will stop coming here after this morning. It is ALWAYS slow. The drivethru line in the morning is incredibly long -- what used to be 5 minutes in and out is now 20-30 minutes. You come inside and see that the new employees are just effing around and being as SLOW AS HUMANELY POSSIBLE. What kind of degenerates are running this place? So I'll move to the incident from this morning. I waited in the drivethrough line, like always, for about 10 minutes. Ordered my drink only to get to the front where the RUDEST woman works at the window (not the girl with the multi-colored hair, she is the only good employee there) -- she proceeds to give me my drink. It isn't until a few minutes later after I paid and drove away that I realized IT IS THE WRONG DRINK. how difficult is it to get the drinks right in a drivethru ppl? I proceed to then park, go into the Starbucks, at this point I am 10 minutes late for work already, and tell them that I got the wrong drink. No apology, no anything -- that bitchy woman just takes the drink and proceeds to give it to the man behind me inthe drive thru. WHAT?!?! I could have spat in the drink, I could have took a sip already -- nope, they don't care. They just go ahead and give it to the correct person. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS THIS? So I wait for my drink, the lady gives it to me, once again NO APOLOGY, NOT EVEN A WORD. This place is absolutely horrid. I do not trust the people who are making my drink and they are terribly slow, not to mention the WORST CUSOTMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I will not go back. I will make sure no one I know goes back. This place will lose a ton of business because of the awful people who work there. My advice: fire everyone who works there and hire trustworthy, HARD workers. People who go to Starbucks and pay $5 + per drink expect their experience to be seamless -- THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO. TRUST ME!

This is my first review on Yelp and I have held off long enough as I am furious at how this Burtonsville Starbucks is operated! I am always on the run and it is very convenient to have your local Starbucks equipped with a Drive-thru. However, it never fails that this particular location ALWAYS seems to run out of something! In fact, it happens so often that I play a game with my 6 year old daughter to guess prior to driving up to the window on what they unfortunately have run out of today. No joke! They run out of a variety of item's including, cups, lids, breakfast items, pastries and drinks!! But what happen today really set me off...I hear the same line quite often..."Sorry sir, we can't make that drink today as we have run out... can we get you something else today?". I wait patiently until September to buy probably the only drink I actually enjoy paying over $4 for... Pumkin Spice! They of course run out of it this morning and it was the last straw of my silent treatment. The bottom line is I pay a ridiculous amount of money for a cup of premium coffee and I expect two things, a quality product and great customer service! Whoever is the GM of this particular Starbucks needs ensure that this store never runs out of ANY items! If an item is running low then someone needs to be sent out to the closest Starbucks store in the area that has that item! This store is Poorly operated to say the least. Thank you for letting me vent and I apologize for the long review. Enjoy your cup of coffee at another Starbucks that is better managed!

I knew it! No one has yelped about this Starbucks yet, most definitely because no one has had any reason to come to this part of town (my excuse is that I'm visiting family for the holidays). What I'm about to say is so bewildering that it may very well destabilize our very understanding of modern life as we know it: this is the only Starbucks within the span of an entire 15-20 radius! So I've decided to put in this Starbucks location so that if you ever drive around this area and find yourself lost amongst the roadside farms and horse barns, rest assured, there is a Starbucks within reach! Don't expect fast and speedy service, but you will find: - a convenient drive-thru so you don't have to waste much time driving back to civilization - an extremely weak but working free wireless connection if you choose to relax, do some work, and people-watch the family vans passing by - nice and friendly baristas. You *are* south of the mason-dixon line, after all!

I would never write a review for Sbucks. Its overrated, over priced, and overly not good coffee... BUT........ Being that Burtonsville is limited in cafe style hang out spots, this Starbucks passes the my meter for yelping purposes. 1. They have an outdoor seating area, that is very nice! with lounge chairs (not those typical green outdoor seating chairs that you see at all the other sbucks). 2. Inside is nice too. Everything is renovated. 3. DRIVE THROUGH! who was the genius that thought of this??? I love it! Let me tell you, so many times before have I gone to this starbucks simply to accommodate my laziness. 4. The people are nice too... Thats it.

The drive-thru window is great. But I don't use it. The 1 time I used it, my drink was horribly messed up and I had to go inside anyway. I have yet to be greeted in a friendly and prompt manner. I've waited in front of the counter for several minutes with no one else in line. This location is more expensive than other locations. A Venti skinny vanilla latte will cost you $4.51, where other locations are $4.40. Perhaps the difference in cost is the drive-thru. It's on my way to work, but I will backtrack to the one on Rt 1 in Laurel where the people are nicer, the service is faster and the drinks are consistent. The only good thing I can say about this location is the seating area. They have plenty of seats and it's very clean.

Why this SBUX is A-Ok: You can get your overpriced, 800 calories in a 12oz cup...oops...sorry, a Tall, and never have to get out of your car.

It's a Starbucks. Consistency, a decent cup of coffee... you know what you're getting. But... It's a bit unusual for a Starbucks. No, really, it is. Wait for it... ... stay on target!... ... stay on target!!... ... sorry, star wars moment, got distracted... ... where was I... Oh yeah! There's a drive through window! As one of my friends said recently... "I'd drive five miles for that!"
