A Teton Treehouse is a magical place. The views are spectacular, breakfast is fantastic, rooms are comfy, a great B&B all around. Our host Denny was full of great information and made our stay at his treehouse as well as Wyoming the best it could've been. The flying squirrels that play here are a bonus. I only wish we could've stayed forever!

Travel a half mile up A Heck of a Hill Road and trek 95 steps to enter A Teton Tree House, the cutest and most unique bed and breakfast we have ever been to! Sally and Denny were the most gracious hosts and greeted us like we were family. We stayed in the Downy Woodpecker room which came with a king size bed, a private deck with a hand-made swinging bench, a gorgeous window seat that gave a us a glorious view of the sunrise across the mountain range in the early morning, and of course a bathroom with almost instant hot water. The entrance to the treehouse is a heavy wooden door leading to a matching warm wooden interior. The moment you come in you're greeted by a warm wooden glow. They have decorations everywhere and travel books to help you get the most out of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks to the north as well as other hot spots both locally and internationally. A Teton Tree House has an incredibly earthy and nature-y (made up a word there) feel to it yet Sally and Denny keep it incredibly clean and organized. Denny built the bed and breakfast and the two of them run it from the top floor. Sally uses the modern-ish kitchen to prepare some of the best natural breakfasts we have ever had. It's a shame that we didn't get to stay longer than one night, because we would have definitely enjoyed some more of her freshly baked almond poppy seed bread and her unique spin on breakfast granola. After giving us a tour of the house and the remaining rooms, Sally and Denny helped us get situated, and make reservations for a place to eat dinner (we had the nut-encrusted trout and elk)! The following morning, 5 couples all gathered around the dining table to share breakfast, stories, and travel advice. To be honest, we were a bit out of our league because our fellow travelers included a British couple who had met Sally and Denny while in Ecuador visiting the Galapagos Islands. Other travelers talked about their experiences in Africa (Kenya & Angola), South America, Europe, and all throughout the U.S. Incredible food supplemented by incredible conversation, what a way to start a day : ) To sum it all up, - Great hosts, Sally & Denny will take care of you! - Use the living room, we got lost in the games and read all their unique collection of books for at least a few hours - Amazing attention to detail. There were bathrobes in the closet, a thick blanket to take outside as we sat on the bench on the wooden deck, and a book of menus so we could find a place to eat for dinner that night - Best vegetarian breakfast we've ever had, be prepared for the 8 AM start! On the other hand, - If you're like us and tend to forget things in the car, be prepared to walk those 95 steps a few times a day - The bath soap will suck the oil out of your body, might want to bring your own selection of body wash or else, be prepared to use the whole bottle of lotion! Overall, best B&B we've ever stayed at especially if you love tree houses like we do! We can't wait to go back and see them again!
