I'm the jerk who walks in 20 minutes before closing. I sat at the bar and was greeted with truly friendly and welcoming service. They have Black Tooth Brews on tap if you want a local beer. I had the Black Tooth Brown and it was delicious. Kind of a bummer they close "so early" because there isn't much open on a Sunday night in walking distance. Pushing it until 11pm in the summers would make them a go to for tourists.

Good food, that's about all. I have been eating here since their opening and I have been really annoyed by their rude staff and longer waiting times for the food. They really through a fit if you move from the dining area to the bar. The dining area is self-service, which is lame. There are a bunch of noisy arcade games and kids running around screaming, which makes it terrible for conversation around the table. Eat at the bar and you will have someone wait on you, and you will have less kids running around. The wait staff are generally poor at checking in with you can can be short tempered.

Really good food. Stopped by to have some food and watch football. Waitress was good and the food was great. Wings were good. If you can't make up your mind you can split your pizza in two kinds. I'll be back for sure.

So we're staying at the holiday Inn in sheridan, Wyoming. We decided take out would be a lot cheaper, so we decided on this pizza place, we asked for delivery and they said they could do that which was great. The person I talked with was very nice and took my order and seemed very happy to do so which in my experience, in fast food places they seem bored. She was not, her name was either Taylor or sailor unsure as my hearing is getting bad as I get older. Nonetheless she was very nice. I'm hoping the pizzas we ordered is just as good. I'll update at a later date.

If I could give less I would. Went in last Sunday for the Broncos playoff game and was promptly told by the bartender (who had a very strained face) that her manager had just CALLED her and told her to tell the costumers that they had to close!! This is a Sunday Bronco playoff day in Bronco country and they had to close!! And the owners and managers did not come down to tell the costumers themselves. Or better yet, the owners and manager should have come down to do what needed to be done to keep it open. Instead they make some poor employee take that hit from the costumers. Poor management!! I have been in the restaurant business for years and I have never seen something so horrible!! They did let us finish our beers (joined a table of friends and got a beer at last call) but I will never go back. Now the choices for watching Sunday football just got small.

After 1700 miles on the road, this is the best food we have found. GREAT food and service. Very good local beer. You won't regret this stop! GREAT food and staff. I would recommend to anyone.

I stopped in Powder River Pizza and Pub for a dinner break on a cross country road trip when I didn't want chain food. The pizza and bread sticks were excellent; they had many local brews on tap; the service was expeditious, professional, and courteous. Great restaurant!

Best pizza in Sheridan! Hamburgers are pretty good also. A large selection of micro brews on tap including a few local brews. Lot's of large TVs in the bar to watch a game. Good atmosphere, maybe a bit loud, but you kind of expect that. The restaurant can be very busy on weekends and getting a table can be difficult.

Just passing thru town to stop for gas and food. Very pleased with pizza. We got a 14" signature pie w ground beef topping. Excellent, buttery crust sprinkled with Parmesan. Excellent pizza sauce and overall flavor. Definitely recommend. They even included packets of pepper flakes, Parmesan and wet wipes for our to go order. Gluten free pizza available.

If I was rating them on atmosphere and concept only it would be a 5. Unfortunately that's not the case. We have been eating here all the time since it opened and it has been consistently getting worse. When they opened the food and service were great. Not so much now. I went in for their burger night the other day and boy was I disappointed. As a chef myself, I now how simple and easy it is to cook a great burger. When the bartender/server tells you, that it can be cooked to temperature, it should be what I order. Ordered the burger rare and it came out very well done, with no seasoning, and that was after almost a 50 minute wait. I would avoid this place, until they decide to hire some cooks and bartenders that care. It was already pretty pricey for what it is when they opened, and now, I don't think I would eat there for free.....

First tip, eat in the bar, the service is far better! Get the sampler pizza for variety. Do Not look in the kitchen.....

Excellent service by Scurry (sp?) at the bar. If you eat at the bar, you're not serving yourself at all and you get great service. In the restaurant you order at the counter, but it still appeared to me that no one was left unattended. The thin crust Greek personal pizza was quite tasty, and coming from Manhattan, I consider myself a connoisseur. This is a pub/family joint but every employee seemed happy and was very courteous to everyone. I witnessed 2 employees who were already punched out assist several people with a smile. Seems like an excellent work environment. I only stopped here for the night due to The Brutus storm coming through and this joint far surpassed my expecttions.

The usual pizza pub--lots of big TVs, beer, and pizza--but done well. The pizza wasn't amazing, just good, but the owners seem to know what they're doing. It's quite nice inside, they've got the little buzzers to tell you when your pie is ready, and their menu and website are nicely designed. It's everything Ole's (another Sheridan pizza place) isn't. The next time I feel like having pizza, I'll definitely go back to Power River Pizza.

place is dirty(kitchen) and the staff looks like a bunch of filthy high school kids that know little about clean. It was shocking to see the kitchen. I wouldnt go near the place again. I wish it were different. I dont like putting down a small business.

Great salad bar and good for lunch. However their product has gone down hill.

Best pizza we have had, possibly ever! Flavorful crust, quality ingredients, and generous toppings. We had Black Tooth Amber to go with the pizza, and to top it all off, we had our favorite ice cream in the whole world, Wilcoxson's Montana Moose Moss. What a great spot....too bad we are passing through in an RV. Lucky people who live in Sheridan!

Kinda lame that you have to serve yourself but the pizza was fantastic. They also have a decent salad bar, full bar and sweet potato tater tots.

From SF CA visiting. It's slim pickings to find a decent restaurant here btw, but such is a small town. We got referred here from friends for the pizza. It was a bit confusing as you walk in because there is no one to seat you or noticeable sign. I'm sure we looked silly and confused as everyone around us was glaring but no one helped us out. We just went over to a vacant booth eventually and selected our meal....still waiting for service. LOL. We finally noticed the tiny written sign above the booth that indicated we order at the counter. We ordered the personal pizzas which were good and the Fried Mac N Cheese which after eating 2 became addicting! I wanted more! It was nice to see the pizzas came with yummy breadsticks and marinara. I went and ordered a side of Ranch which was the best I'd ever had in my life! SUPER yummy homemade ranch. Mmmmmmm. Btw, it's not free so please pay the .50 they're asking for. It's worth it! Apparently people just come up and take it away in a soda lid. Where is the home training?? Once we ordered, the server checked on us and was very friendly and chipper. I do enjoy a restaurant where the people seem happy. They also had a good assortment of home made ice cream. I had a sample which was great! We will definitely come back next time around :-)

The pizza is great but the atmosphere is a little odd and it's too expensive. I'm also not a fan of the "waiting on yourself" concept. You have to go to the counter to order and then pick up your own food. While the taste is great it's a little overpriced for the overall experience. I'll probably do it only every once in a while.
