Excellent food. Pizza as well as sandwiches. We have eaten here a few times in the past and have been very pleased with the food. Hours are short, maybe call ahead to make sure they are open. Just visited on 2/13/2015. Came in about 7:30pm (they close at 8pm), and we were turned away. They told us they were "sold out". I asked, "everything?". They said, "yes". We left disappointed, and hungry.

UPDATE: I have now been a few times to this place and while the pizza is good, the service is not. The servers does not do anything to help you and are very slow. You have to go and get your paper plates and plastic utensils, you get your drink. The server brings out the pizza and ignores you. I get that it is a simple place but it would be nice to actually have some service.

Excellent place to grab food in a town with not much to choose from! We have only ever got take-out, not dined in, so I can't speak to the quality of restaurant. However our takeout has been consistently amazing! My husband gets the Wyoming hot sandwich (I think it's called) but basically an Italian sub, and I get the Chickeb Cordon Bleu hot sandwich, and an order of cheesy bread. It's the best sandwich I've ever had! Tangy Dijon mustard, juicy breaded chicken tenders, perfect melted Swiss, thinly sliced ham, and chopped chicken breasts. And the bread... To die for! You won't regret it, stop in! And no debit/credit cards, cash or check only...

Maybe one of the best pizza places I've ever been. So much to choose from. Great pizza, unique toppings, amazing hot sandwiches. Bring cash, as credit cards are not accepted.

I remember when I was an adolescent and going to school in Saratoga that there were two pizza places in town. I can't recall if the the two businesses existed at the same time but both were frequented often during certain times of my adolescence. At certain points both pizza places took forever to get their pizzas served to you. It was usually worth the wait and what other choice did you have if it wasn't? Saratoga is a damn small town! People often blamed the cooks for being on drugs and that is why the pizzas took so long to be served, who knows for sure. When I saw that Saratoga had a pizza place again I had to make a stop here. I pleaded even to my mother to go. Not because I love pizza sooooo much and need it everyday of the week but I wanted to compare it to it's predecessors and of course wanted another excuse to write a new Yelp review! Platte River Pizza is a breathe of fresh air for the town! The pizza is cooked and ready for you in about twenty minutes! The pizza variety is diverse which was also unexpected but very welcoming to my eyes! We settled on what was PRP's version of a supreme pizza. It tasted good and scored an above average rating in my mind on quality and flavor. Everyone that works here is nice and friendly and eager to please! Indeed a welcome change in my book to my touristy hometown! P.S. You may not enjoy these pictures as much if you are not native to the area but PRP has lots of pictures of signs for creeks in the area and farther north in the state. It is fun to play "Concentration" with the pictures to see if you know where these creeks are located!

Most of the reviews that say average or less are spot on. I guess for the only pizza establishment in the entire city it is halfway decent but personally I like my pizza cooked and hot. I don't want to have to go home after eating it and be thoroughly disappointing to have to cook The rest of it myself. They have no alcohol but are nice enough to let you bring it in.
