The best preparation of fois gras I have ever had. The home made focaccia at the beginning had three flavored butters that were fantastic and the main course of rack of lamb with pepper corn sauce was rockin. The cauliflower au gratin were very good. The service was also very good- but it is the four seasons.

When you stay at a "luxury" hotel, you expect a luxury experience--this includes breakfast. When we walked into the Westbank grill, we were promptly seated by a pleasant hostess and a nice table. My husband ordered the orange juice and I ordered green tea. I asked the lady if it was plain green teA--no fruit, no mint, just plain. She assured me it was. When delivered, it was passion fruit green and my husbands orange juice was thick and pulpy. I reordered tea--the only plain one was earl grey. I looked at the buffet and found it to be very limited and old. The eggs were overcooked and the sausage and potatoes looked dry and unappetizing. I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict, soft poached eggs off the menu. When my food was delivered, I noticed that it was simply that--eggs Benedict. No potatoes. No fruit. It was sad and lonely on my plate. The first one I ate was medium poached. It was fine, but not out of this world. The bread was hardly toasted and entirely soggy. I went to salt and pepper them, but the pepper would not come out of the shaker. When I cut into the second egg, it was hard poached. I reordered and the dish came out minutes later. Thankfully, we had a lovely waitress (Kelly) who went out of her way to make everything better. I expect fresh, hot, well made food at this price and location. I don't mind paying top dollar, but the quality MUST be excellent. On another note, if you hire people who speak English as a second language, make sure they completely understand it. I have had to re-explain myself for 5 minutes to two different people in this restaurant because they have limited understanding.

My husband and I ate dinner at the Westbank Grill for our anniversary during our stay at The Four Seasons. My halibut and lobster were divine, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his trout. The salads were good as well. Our anniversary dessert was fantastic too. The restaurant manager was extremely professional and caring, which was very appreciated. Next time we go back to the Four Seasons, we will give the Westbank Grill another try. Hopefully, by that time, they will have a few more vegetarian options. I recommend dining at this restaurant for their excellent food and great view.

A group of 4 guys away for a ski weekend. This place was as expected and better. If you are eating at a four seasons you aren't looking at price its known its going to cost you but with that you should expect an excellent dining experience and Westbank Grill delivered awesome food, great drinks as they knew to bring a side car for the dirty martinis. The service was attentive and on point. Polite to the point that we gave our break runner a $20 for his polite and attentive demeanor. You can't go wrong eating here we ordered so much that it would be hard to list everything. It was all excellent and portions were just right. I can't say enough other than go try it if you are in town . . .

We went there for Mothers Day Brunch and everything was first class as we expected from a resort like this. It was pricey but it was a special occasion so it was worth it. The seafood and salad bar had items you don't find in any salad bar. Entrees were good and dessert was outstanding. We had one of each. The service was excellent too. First class place.

This place is fantastic! I don't get the 2.5 star rating at all. Must be local restauranteurs bombing the Yelp. This is the restaurant at the Four Seasons in Jackson Hole right? Totally great. We were seated in a nice low lit table where we were given the choice of sparkling or still house water, nice touch. Went with a scallop appetizer that was terrific and the New York Steak. It came with three great sauces 1) Blueberry Reduction 2) Sauce Bernaise 3) Peppercorn. All were great and I liked the peppercorn best. Nice to get some sauces done right. I've asked for Bernaise at steakhouses like Ruth's Chris and they are almost always curdled and oily. This place did them right. Had a cowboy cookie desert and overall it was a great experience. Again, the 2.5 stars makes absolutely no sense at all. This is a 4 or 5 easily. A+

We had great service and a great meal. We split the bone in ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. Don't forget to get the Cowboy cookie for desert. It's delicious.

Worst meal in Jackson Hole! When you dine at a Four Seasons you expect a certain level of quality. Westbank Grill failed to deliver such an experience. The ambiance is tired, the menu is boring, the food is bland & everything was woefully overpriced. The service was good, but that's the only positive thing WB Grill had to offer. There are much better restaurants in JH to experience than this spot. My advice is to go downtown and check out the vibrant scene and superior restaurants!

The Westbank Grill used to be my favorite restaurant in Jackson Hole. The dining room was always beautifully adorned to match the spirit of the season and the menu always offered a variety of tantalizing dishes. Alas, the Westbank Grill of the past is no more. Gone are the white table cloths, professionally-dressed servers, and inspired dishes. The new Westbank Grill offers a-la-carte meat items and a small selection of (very overpriced) starters. I had the Wagyu steak for $58 - the most expensive item on the menu. It was fantastic, but it was unable to satiate my palate on its own. We ordered a couple of sides, but none of them meshed well with my entree. The caliber of the staff has also declined significantly since our last visit. Servers wear ugly orange, collared shirts and no longer have name tags. Our backwaiter was kind, but barely spoke any English. I was appalled when we first arrived at the restaurant and the two hosts neglected to acknowledge us for a full minute. One of the hosts finished her phone conversation and proceeded to make entries in her computer system without so much as a 'welcome.' The other host hurriedly approached, asked if she had greeted us, and then proceeded to do so herself. The interaction was appallingly unprofessional and set the evening off on a bad note. Eating at the Westbank Grill used to be our New Year's Day tradition, but I think we'll choose breakfast service over dinner in the future.

Only place open in the area we could find, and boy do they know it! Great service, and excellent food. However, very small portions and way over priced. When you have to pay $4.50 for a coke for your son, you know it is going to be bad. For the price of dinner and the tip, we could have stayed an extra day I the hotel and got change back

Fading glory.....this used to be a great restaurant, but the quality of the food has declined. Sunday breakfast was a disappointment. In the past you could get fresh squeezed OJ and they claim that its fresh.....but it was from a concentrate

Our large group changed dinner reservations to eat at the Westbank Grill after reading reviews of where we were supposed to dine. And we made a great choice by doing so. The atmosphere is cozy but modern and comfortable. Our large group was seated near the open kitchen. Being able to watch the chef work effortlessly added to the experience of the evening. He clearly takes pride in his work. The service is great. Very friendly and attentive, but in a quiet keep-your-wine-glass-full-without-you-knowing kind of way. What could be better?! (They have a good wine list) My filet was so good. 6 ounces of tender, perfectly cook beef. Just what I needed to accompany my bottomless wine glass. The sides are delicious and great for sharing between 2 people. Dessert is a must. Sage ice cream is remarkably delicious as is the smoked tobacco ice cream. Who knew?! And after dinner, take a stroll through the hotel and enjoy a cocktail in the lounge in big comfy chairs or venture outside with a wool blanket and sit fireside. You can't go wrong either way. Westbank Grill is a must.

Divine breakfast. Wonderful service. Yes, it's expensive, but you are getting high quality ingredients, expert preparation and top-notch service. It's nice to find some peace amid the hustle and bustle of JHMR.

Good food, but I'd expect better at this price point. Great view & ambiance. Plenty of great choices on the wine list. The Incognito Cabernet Sauvignon was a beautiful compliment to the wagyu beef and smoked rack of lamb (we had it decanted). Side of roasted cauliflower was tasty, eggplant...not so much. Service was attentive, but unobtrusive.

Fine food and good service, but for price it should be. It was more than 2X more expensive than any other place we dined at in Jackson over the course of a week. They tried seating us in a dark corner of restaurant, we and 3 other couples refused the table. Left a bad taste in that they tried to seat us (and 3 other couples) in "nose bleed" seats. A place that costs $250+ for dinner should not have nose bleed seats.

I wasn't expecting much as I am usually not a fan of hotel restaurants as they usually lack inventiveness.,.. but what a welcome surprise... I was hungry but felt like grazing and so I was in for a treat : I tried the excellent and large REGIONAL CHEESE & CHARCUTERIE FOR THE TABLE of 3 choices (you can choose six as well) which had Seasonal Jam, Candied Cashews, Country Olives, Spicy Mustard, Beehive Apple Smoked Walnut (not usually a fan of smoked cheese but this cheddar was delicious with a subtle smoky finish) Buffalo Jerky (a nice balance of spicy sweet, chewy and tender) and Duck Prosciutto (house made)... topped off by hot toasty home made grain bread with a terrific crust...Foie Gras Brulee - Pomegranate, Salted Pistachio Brittle, Homemade Brioche- world class - truly - I spend half my time in France and this dish could beat much of the competition there- a great balance of creamy, crunchy, unctuous, earthy and sour... Veloute Charred Wagyu Beef - Braised Celery Duo, Sweet-spicy Condiment, Scallion Salad, Black Truffle Tsuyu- WOW- slivers of wagyu beef perfectly and lightly charred, tender morsels balanced by the braised celery and accented by black truffles... Finished off with a cowboy cookie - a warm chewy, crumbly chocolate chip cookie in a skillet topped with tasty ice cream... Tried the recommended wines by the glass- reasonable and special. The wine list is extensive and was quite a surprise... as it offered all price ranges and varietals... the staff are knowledgeable, professional and charming. My only regret? I ate there my last night and could not go back and try the main courses! So enamored I got two large sides to go for the plane ride home... Charred Brussel Sprouts - Medjool Dates, Smoked Bacon, Cippolini Onions and Cauliflower - Pine Nuts, Golden Raisins, Curry, Brown Butter - outstanding!

Yikes. Should have read the 3 reviews. I figured the four seasons would have a better restaraunt. I ate at Trio, Osteria, & Rendezvous. This was the least favorite. For the prices charged, they really need to up the anty on food and service. I ordered the NY strip which I could have bought a better quality steak at a grocery store. It was cooked correctly although. The mac n cheese with lobster was very salty. My wife is vegetarian and I would say good luck if you are as well. There honey baked thyme pasta was lacking anything that resembles taste. The other items were okay. The bread they serve at the beginning was good. The service was slow and I had to get our coats from the coat check as they could not figure which were ours. That was funny. I will say that the people were nice. Overall Westbank grill and the four seasons need to figure it out.

We had a really great meal here. It was solid but did not blow me away like some other 4 season spots. Three course prix fixe for $39. The atmosphere was really nice with huge windows and a roaring fireplace. Service, as you would expect, was impeccable. I'd have to agree that the portions seemed small but they are tasters right? I wish I could remember what I had in better detail. I think it was a lobster bisque followed by bison risotto that was great.

We visited the Westbank Grill on a recent trip the Jackson Hole, WY. The restaurant is located in the Four Seasons hotel, at the base of the mountain. The entire property is beautiful, including the restaurant, but unfortunately the food wasn't quite up to Four Seasons standards. Right across the board the portions were very small. After a four course meal I can't say that I or my friend were very full. The descriptions of the food were mouth watering but the actual dished were quite disappointing. I got the Roasted Poblano and Idaho Potato Chowder, the Arugula, Frisee and Radicchio Salad, the Nebraska Natural Chicken Breast, and the Chocolate Filled Donuts with Hot Chocolate. The salad was the best tasting although the portion was tiny. The soup was a letdown based on the description, as was the chicken. The server promised it to be "the best chicken that you'll ever have" but it didn't quite get there, as it was dry and lacking the flavor that the dish promised. The donuts were delicious but they were two "mini" donuts and the hot chocolate that accompanied it was a small serving in an espresso cup. It also had a spice in it that didn't really work well. In summary, I found the Westbank Grill to be consistent with the pricing and service that you'd find at a Four Seasons restaurant without the portions or quality. I'd recommend trying something else. Bonus points for the presentation and atmosphere, I guess?
