This place has hipster Hindu written all over it. From the Ganesh logo to the clientele, music and shabby but clean feel, it's perfect if you like that sort of thing. The service is leisurely. The beverage selection is really broad. So, plan to meet friends, hang out for a while and talk. (That is, if you can be heard over the music. Note to self:sit far away from the speakers!) The stools for the outdoor seating are dreadful. I spent most of dinner trying not to fall off. The food is hot. Spicy hot. Not overly, but warm enough to be noticed. Fresh, flavorful Thai food. If the weather is good, I suggest getting this food to go. You can find more pleasant seating on the sidewalk benches of Jackson, and watch the world go by.

Terrible excuse for Thai food......never again Basil fried rice is just rice fried in hot sauce. Supposed to be a mild dish....lame

Hungry for Thai in Jackson, the group (grandparents, Parents and grandchild) gave this place a shot. I don't know what happened to the other reviewers, but hot and spicy is *NOT* what we received. We are frequent Thai food consumers and like spicy (but not Thai hot - that is just crazy). The server never even asked how spicy we wanted and we were too involved in conservation to ask. I can only assume we got the standard heat level which wasn't much, This place is basically a beer pub serving Thai and pub style grub. We had the Larb (light on flavor and spice), red curry (average - would have liked it spicier), Pad See Ew (good with nice vegis) and Garlic Broccoli (the best dish of the night - great garlic/soy sauce). We weren't expecting real Thai in Jackson, WY and got what we expected.. The Parents (beer aficionados) sampled many of the beers (being a small brewery, they are often out of some beers) and were very pleased. Their beers have won several significant awards in the craft beer community. Service was attentive for a Friday night and the prices are high compared to real Thai in bigger cities but seemed to be standard for Jackson.

Very yummy Thai food! We came in at 10p, which happens to be during their happy hour and ordered their skid curry and pot stickers. The skid curry was supposed to be a small portion, but it was pretty plentiful. Super flavorful and just enough spice, but not war in your mouth. Our server/bartender was super friendly and attentive, and really good looking. We also ordered the Bigglesworth Typhoon drink, which was 45 oz of rum, vodka, more rum, and juice. For $18 for the drink, I'd say it was a good deal and sure went down really easy.

Best spot in Jackson Hole hands down. The interior is nice and modern, and their are two types of seating, restaurant type and a self seating at tables or at the bar, we opted for the self seating at tables which is a little more chill. The service here is spectacular, the waiters are very attentive. They have an impressive variety of craft beers on draft, many i haven't heard of but made sure to try. The scotch ale and the short bus were my two favs. The food: -Wings - perfectly cooked, crisp, not soggy, great sweet chili sauce, great kick of spice - Pot stickers were delicious, standard, can't go wrong with these - Tom yum soup was one of the best I have had. Usually places over use coconut milk but this spot had the perfect broth with tons of flavor and perfectly cooked shrimp, very spicy so be prepared - Pad See Yew was delicious, great sauce, noodles good texture - Pad thai was not bad, not the best I have had, was delicious just missing a few hints of flavor/ fish sauce The portions here are pretty huge, especially for the entrees. Overall great spot, great food, service and atmosphere, don't miss this spot

As always the beer is fresh and delicious. Atmosphere is Kung Fu! I love the Kung Fu movies playing! If you are looking for an affordable option the Skid Curry is the bomb! Pot stickers are yummy. My new favorite is the General Thai Chicken! Yelp makes me type too much. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

My dish got sent back three times for different reasons and I still could not eat it. They gave me 10 percent off but charged me anyway for my dish.

Overall: We came here with lots of aspirations. If you like authentic Thai food, this is not your place. Their dishes have many ingredients not synonymous with Traditional Thai food. For me, The food was bland. If u like more Westernized Thai, then perfect. Portions are good. Our food was a a bit late, and the chef gave us a free appetizer. This tells you at least it's well run. We had Tum yum soup for starter. Usually it's a shared soup. It was for single person, but presentation was nice. We had to return it as it had shrimp and our party was vegetarian. Our waitress may not have heard us as it was a bit loud. They removed from our bill. Service: Though our food was late, I consider the service good. Drinks: They don't have your traditional drinks but a great beer menu. I have a light IPA and it was very tasty. I give this a low rating only because of the food being bland compared to other traditional Thai food.

If you're in the mood for Thai food, this is a great pick. The portions are large and the food is delicious. It's also a great option for vegetarians. Pair the food with a locally brewed beer for a great combination. It was a little loud inside, but the weather was perfect for dining on the porch.

Bottom line: Local's hangout, great beer, good thai food. If you've just finished your 20 mile mountain bike ride, epic river day or hike and want to be a part of the scene - Thai Me Up is the place to be. Great beer, laid back vibe and yummy Thai food make this one of the best local spots in Jackson. Shishito Peppers are a must as an appetizer and note the entree portions are fairly large, so you'll have leftovers for tomorrow's lunch.

We came in pretty late (after 10PM) so they only have bar menu and red curry. Another restaurant said they were the only place serving food that late. Food was American Thai but tastes good enough. We had shishito, wings, and red curry with chicken. Server was very nice and friendly.

The beer from Melvin Brewing is really, really good. I'm a huge fan. The food here might be the worst option for "Thai" food in Jackson Hole. It's white people "Thai." The best thing I've had here is the Melvin Berger (great happy hour deal). The noodles are2 bland, underwhelming and don't taste like real Thai dishes. During the off season, two entrees gets you an appetizer and a desert for free (another great deal), but my girl is a vegetarian and they showed up with pork dumplings. Would be nice if they had another option. The worst part about my last experience here was the service. We sat at the bar and the woman serving us was inattentive and and borderline rude. She even threw a coaster over my girls head at the couple behind us - unprofessional. I had to ask multiple times for another beer - with my empty beer glass pushed to the edge of the bar. She forgot our orders and then tried to charge me for 4 beers instead of 2. No apologies given and she had a really shitty entitled attitude. And I get the whole relaxed ski town thing. I live here and I like the whole no fuss vibe of the town, but bad service is bad service.

This place is a dump, period. Food is bad--they think Thai food equals hot pepper. they make it so spicy that it's inedible; service is as bad--waitress keeps saying sorry but does not do a thing . Avoid this restaurant if you come with family.

Really liked this place overall. The shishito peppers were an amazing appetizer! The yellow curry was pretty good but quite spicy. And the beer selection was great. The service was a bit slow but the staff was very nice.

  • Shanna A.

The skid curry was very flavorful, nice portion size, the pot stickers were ok the sauce has a little spicy twang to it. The bartender that made our drink was really nice looking, oh yeah and the drink was good too. 45oz is alot to drink but it's good drink to share with a girlfriend. All in all a good place to grab dinner.

A brewery in a Thai restaurant seemed a little bit strange to me but after eating the food and drinking the beer I think it's a match made in brewery heaven. And they have an elephant on their glasses and I don't know why but that makes me like them even more. We started with some veggie spring rolls and a Feely B. My boyfriend had some beer that I have no idea how you pronounce. I did get a good chuckle as he tried to pronounce it to our lovely server. The Feely B was delicious and I'm glad I just judge beers by their names so I could end up with this awesomely named and awesomely delicious beer. For our entrees, I ordered the SRF Two Porks and the BF ordered the G-13. They were both amazing. I think pork can be hit or miss since it dries out really easily but this was tender. I think I could have eaten two orders worth of food. Granted we were both starving because we had been skiing all day and were subsisting on basically on Clif bar, but still we could have used some more food. I got to sit next to a heater and that made me really happy. But the atmosphere was so loud and it was at times difficult to carry on a conversation. If you love Thai food and beer you should visit here (hey, I made a rhyme!)

Love their pad thai and blood orange margarita. Great service. Open late into the night, so you can head this way after bar hopping.

  • Sean F.

Not your typical Thai restaurant. This place is attached to a brewery. I had the red curry which was pretty good. The pad Thai was good as well. I would've given this four stars but the hostess was insanely rude. She was really annoyed when we asked why we couldn't sit at one of the four open tables in the main dining room, as opposed to the bar. Not a ton for kids to eat, so if your kids aren't adventurous with food this is not the place to go.

Excellent thai food and even better brews. Waitress even remembered us from our first visit.

Service was not good. We had to wait for a long time for our food and the waiter and waitress were giving us a lot of attitude. The food was good though. 4 stars for food but 2 stars for service.

SOLELY FOR THE BEER No Thai food for me--only Beer. They serve a bunch of other Crafts but we decided to take a flight of strictly Melvin Brewing Beer. Killer Bees (Honey Ale) was refreshing and clean but wasn't too memorable for me. Curiosity led me to CHCHCH Cherry Bomb (Cherry Ale) with its beautiful red color--but the aftertaste was too sour for me. The Josh Brown (Brown Ale) was much better because I like my Beers darker. My BF liked Asterisk (Imperial IPA) but the bitterness was too much for me. Good beginning though. ATMOSPHERE In sitting at the bar, we couldn't help but watch the quirky Asian movies they played. Kill Bill on one and some ancient, foreign Jet Li drama on the other. With dim, funky lighting this place can easily convert into a dance club with small dancing space near the bar. There's a strong modern look and feel which unfortunately didn't want to make me try the food. With decor like this you just KNOW the food won't too authentic.

Came here on the first day in Jackson and had a good meal that is somewhat pricey for Thai. I had The WORST service on my second visit Ever! Waited for over an hour and the food still never came! The only reason I am giving one star is because of the better first visit.

  • Louie A.

A great spot for late night munchies. They brew their own beer and have a late night happy hour, with Thai movies on the TV. The focus here is on the bar scene, go to Teton Thai for the food

I was pretty jazzed when I saw two of my favorites things in one place. Thai food and a brewery. I mean if heaven really exists, it will surely have this winning combination of craft beer and Thai food. So needless to say I was excited walking in the door. That's about when the excitement stopped. The food was average Thai food, I had the drunken noodles and they were about average. I wouldn't go out of my way to get them neither would I refuse them if someone brought them over ... definitely had better and worse. I did like that they brought out the pepper flakes and other heat causing items with the food. That way I can spice it up to my liking rather than guessing if a 8 is going to be too hot at this place. The beer was A-OK. I had the IPA and Pale ale and thought, eh this is about right. Once again, I wouldn't go out of my way to get them but definitely wouldn't refuse them if someone offered them to me. I left Thai Me Up thinking I probably wont come back here next time I'm in Jackson.

  • Shamitha S.

Good beer. Not authentic Thai. We visited Thai Me Up last night as we were intrigued by the concept of a Thai brewery. They had a good selection of beers and our server was knowledgeable. The food was just ok. The fried sushito peppers were oily. The yellow curry only came in one spicy ness level (bland) and the basil fried rice was bland and oily. If you are not too picky about the food, then come for the beer.

They have a first come/ first serve out door heated patio, worked out awesome to accommodate our large group (10 people) when we didn't have reservations. Food was good proportions and the waitress was awesome.

I don't know how the food tastes because we waited 20 minutes to be seated and were given dirty looks by the cooks, servers and other employees. I tried to get someone's attention and no one seated us they just stared at us so we left. Very disappointing service.

We entered the restaurant and no one shows us where to sit. After we approached a server, we were told to sit anywhere we want. And after we sit down, we were told that side of the dining area is closed (so what do you mean anywhere?!) then we sat down again, and we were told they are only serving pretty much just bar snacks because it's too late. Why don't you tell us anything about these inconveniences in the first place?

We came in on a Friday night and the restaurant was busy, and had a very welcoming atmosphere. We were seated right away even though there were hardly any tables, they made a two top work for our party of three. We ordered right away and it seemed after that we were forgotten about. We had no water and no way to order more drinks. Once we did get our food, we were much happier because it took a long time to come. The food was all over the board. The pad thi was sup par, the fried rice was fine, but the yellow curry was amazing, se of the best I have ever had. Over all besides the service it was a good experience and I would come back.

Yum! Locally brewed beer and Thai food? Awesome. Try a sampler of the beer and eat Pad Thai which is flavorful without being too sweet. Bar area has hightop tables for larger groups and displays showing beers available. Unsure what to order? Ask the pleasant staff for recommendations. Find this place by the elephant sign and tuk-tuk outside. Not in the main square but wander a bit and try something most tourists might miss!

The Thai food isn't as good as it used to be. Skid curry and the Thai wings are what's up. Excellent beer. Super fun late night scene.

We came in for dinner mid-week while visiting family in the area. Overall this place wasn't bad but was also a little disappointing. The day we came in it was HOT outside. They had their large windows open to bring the outside in. I wish they had kept the windows closed and the AC on because it was well over 80 in the dining room. I felt terrible for the guys hustling in the kitchen. Although, the mid-dining room kitchen was probably partially to blame for the steamy temperature. The food was pretty good as was the beer. I had the Melvin burger and it hit the spot after a long day of hiking in the mountains. Our table also has a sampling of some Thai food around and everyone was quite pleased overall. The service was just OK. She came by once to get out drink orders, to take our food orders, and to try the desert up-sell/ drop off the check. Being so hot, we were guzzling our waters and probably would have ordered another round of beers had she been just a little more attentive. The dining room and porch were at best 40% full and no one looked like they were in a hurry to serve. Although, I don't blame them because serving tables in that kind of heat SUCKS! I blame management. The bathrooms were gross. I mean, they would have been alright if the place was strictly a bar/ beer house but not OK for a sit-down eating establishment.

Great beer. Service was great. Guy was very friendly. The food is a Thai fusion but not real Thai. Very Americanized. Ordered the wings and larb...very good. Noodle dishes were fine. The Kobe beef is a great add on to the noodles. However, when I ordered extra bok choy, they diced the bok choy...who would do that?! I could barely tell that there was anything there...bok choy is meant to be served whole...no Asian dices bok choy!

  • Sarah O.

I would definitely check this place out for the beer. Excellent selection and local. The food was good (not great), but really good for the price and location. The service was a bit off. We sat at the bar and were ignored for most of the meal. This may have been because we came in around 9pm, but it felt like the others at the bar received more service because they knew the staff. I would recommend it if you're a beer lover and enjoy trying different local brews.

  • Alies V.

Pro: food was very nice. The Tom Ka Kai was very good and superlarge portion. Green curry was spicy but very nice. Con: the place was very smelly when we were there; your clothes will smell like a frying pan. Second - they brought out the main while we were still eating the starter; when we made a comment, the reaction was it would get cold if we didnt take it now....

  • Maggie W.

This is for the restaurant - the beer was tasty, but sadly not enough to compensate for crappy dinner service. I showed up for a late dinner last weekend, around 8PM or so, and was sat outside on the patio under some heat lamps with a dinner menu. Shortly after placing my order, was told that any food would take 40 minutes... I wasn't in a hurry so I hunkered down with my beer flight and a book and waited. When my food eventually came, it was the wrong order... the server awkwardly blamed the kitchen and rushed to get me my bill. The incorrect (and slow) order was comp-ed, but there was no offer for me to place an order for dessert or refresh my drink (which I obviously would have gladly paid for). After the kitchen fiasco, it seemed they just wanted to rush me out of there... a situation that could have easily been fixed with apologetic service was just made worse. Would not go back or recommend.

I work in Wilson and live in victor so sometimes I like to treat myself and go out to eat after work. I had a good experience here once and the last three were under par. The 2nd star is for my first trip that keeps me coming back but that hasn't happened since. I order a burger, med-rare, no bun, sauce on side. 1st I got it over cooked, not a big deal, it sucked but I ate, next time I got it and there was the chipotle mayo stuff with a bun and I couldn't eat it, because I can't eat mayo, or bread! This last time I ordered it the egg was barely cooked, it came with a bun and the burger was a little over cooked, but can you imagine a burger bun soaked intake egg whites? Is that even legal? I asked for my burger med-rare, not the egg! I still love the grilled green chillies on there but not enough to go back, 3 bad experiences in 6 weeks! Bummer.

Worth a visit if you are a fan of either Thai good or beer..... Food was just good, passable - Drunken Noodle was way too sweet, like molasses, and Pad Thai needed more peanut sauce (in our opinion). The beers were good though and so was the service. It was a little loud - so be warned if you tend to dislike boisterous places - but a fun atmosphere overall.

I don't know if you could find better thai fusion food, or a better meal for that matter! So good, this is a must stop for a delicious meal in Jackson. The service was perfect!

  • Kandi A.

Thai me up combines two of my favorite things- Pad Thai and craft brews. They are an award winning brewery for a reason. The beer selection is incredible and they won't let you down. Try the stout if you are into that! As for the thai food- it might not be the most authentic. But let's be real- you are in wyoming and you are likely going for the beer anyways. But the Pad Thai with Tofu is phenomenal and totally hit the spot. Fun spot in town. Locals and a young crowd can be found here.

  • Mark A.

If you're absolutely craving Thai food in Jackson, then this place is okay. It's really more of a bar that serves Thai food than a restaurant. They have all of the standards such as pad-thai, yellow curry chicken and a little Pho (just because Thailand is near Vietnam?) but nothing all that good or creative. The loud techno music playing is a bit annoying as well.

This review is for the Melvin Brewing offerings only. I didn't try any food. The brewery produces excellent and very original beers. Cherry Bomb, Double IPA and all Belgians I tried were stellar! Service was also friendly and knowledgeable.

I LOVE this place! First off Yelpers don't listen to the peeps who complain about prices. It's a resort town. Stay home. The food isn't the most authentic Thai for sure but damn, its good. Three nights here and I've been here 2x. Sit at the bar, talk to the bartender drink their great beer and enjoy! I mean F you're in Jackson Hole...have a great time. Get the wings and the G13. Good stuff.

Went here for Thai food...are you kidding??? There was nothing Thai about the pad Thai that they serve--four of us ordered it--had to ask for a redo to add the vegetables, no flavor, no good! I ordered the burger--med well--it came med rare and fries were soggie cheap fries--they offered to redo my burger but too little too late--nice selection of brews--only reason I give them a 2 instead of a 1...go only for happy hour!

This was THE BEST Thai food I've had yet!! The tenderloin in green curry sauce was delicious! Spicy and tasty. Had one of their many home brews Winter Wheat that went down smoothly! So good!!! Service was excellent!! Have already recommended this place to coworkers!

New menu from about Oct. The Etouffee and was a fantastic red curry, slightly spicy, buffalo sausage, shrimp and a fantastic presentation. All of us in our party loved their dishes and tried a wide range of the craft brews. Excellent, warm service, brilliant food. Highly recommend. (like Darshan's review....'not non-vegetarian'....isn't this just a vegetarian ?) my wife was eating veg only that day and had tofu G-13 and came as ordered and she said that it was the best she's eaten...

This place should be destroying snake river on the beer alone. Sensational braggot, Belgians, strong ale. Backed up by a very solid line up of guest taps. Easily the best spot in Jackson for anyone that cares about beer.

We had red curry chicken amongst other choices and it was fantastic. Son had a burger - also done well . Everything was delicious including beers - loved it . Relaxed but super friendly service . If we lived here we'd be here very very often !!!! Red IPA especially good . My husband brews and is super beer picky and gave a big thumbs up ;)

If I had only the beer this would be a 5 star review. The food is bland and not worth it. Had the "train" and the spring rolls. What really set the bar at this place was the service. No personality from the waiter. If you want to know what "Thai" food that a bunch of hipsters cooked tastes like, then eat here. And if the owners read this review, go find seeds to grow your own Thai basil. That will help you on your way to kinda of tasting like thai.

What happened to this place? I have not been to Thai Me Up in two years, but I used to be a summer seasonal regular. Previous to my visit last week, I always had a five-star experience, but something immediately seemed off when we arrived last Saturday. The menu was surprisingly much smaller than on my previous visits, which reduced the vegan options considerably (my girlfriend and I are both vegan). During my last visit two summers ago, we had toasted coconut tofu with a peanut dipping sauce for an appetizer; unfortunately, there is nothing of that caliber on the menu as it is now. We skipped an appetizer altogether this time because there was not anything for us. For entrees we both ordered the G13, which is a noodle dish and the only vegan entree option on the menu. The entree was mediocre, and lacked the complexity of flavor I had come to expect from dishes at Thai Me Up. By the way, the entree base cost is $15, plus $2 for tofu; this means that a bowl of noodles and tofu that is on par with a dish at Noodles and Company (for about $8) is $17, which is way too expensive for the quality. As far as the service is concerned, our waiter was completely emotionless, and to say that he was just going through the motions would be too strong. Once again, every time I have been here before, the bar and wait staff were charismatic and enthusiastic. Hopefully, this place will find its way back to the great restaurant it used to be.

Wow, I wish I would have read thru these reviews before we went to this place! I can't review the food at this restaurant simply because we did not order anything. That's because we were unwelcomed into the restaurant by the drunk bartender. Yes, I said drunk bartender - can you believe that? He was absolutely awful and disgraceful. It's rare that I leave feedback that is negative - but I'd rather other people who are just looking for good food AND service know ahead of time what they may be in for. Never again should we be in Jackson will we go to this place. Never.

great atmosphere, staff all seem like outdoorsy, chill, friendly people (didn't see any Taiwanese staff but they could have been the chefs..), lots of space inside, "bar seating" included "community tables" that sat 6, when we got there they were all open and as we were leaving a group of 3 joined. Interesting concept. Ordered the chicken pad see ew, they went a bit heavy on the black pepper (lacking real Thai spices?). Would definitely recommend for any type of party, large or small, old or young, Christian or atheist.

We ordered a dish and made some custom changes to the order. The waitress mentioned that they will do the changes and that she will make sure it will have no meat in the order. And to our surprise we got the dish with no changes and it did have meat in it. And we mentioned it to her, she said she asked us to remove the meat ourselves and eat the dinner. We went out hungry at night and being totally unsatisfied. This is one place which you should avoid if you are not non-vegetarian.

Beers and food were friking awesome. The bean burritos were a little odd for a Thai place but very authentic. They have an eclectic menu with things like moose curry, black bear satay and other mouth watering offerings. Big props to the staff, Chef Jason kills it and the manager i think his name was Morris or something like that was very attentive. The staff rules at Thai me up. Our bartender Leslie was the bees knees and offered our party a taste of everything on tap. Our personal favorite was the McGirts irish stout named after their CRAZY brewmaster who actually lives in a tent down by the river with his whipping boy Ian. Thanks to Carson and all the staff for the hard work. My new favorite place to hang. Wu Tang Bitches.

It's not your traditional Thai, but it's insanely delicious! The G13 is one of the best things I've tasted ever. Service was great, fast and friendly. Prices are a little high but you get good portions. I will be back here again and again!

Good food and micro brews. The lamb shank and yellow curry were quite good. The Pad Thai with shrimp was so-so, kind of wet and lacking flavor compared to many others I've had. Service was competent. Unfortunately they didn't have their award winning IPA when we were there. Overall a good concept and executed well.

We came here based on a traveler who frequents the area and said they had great food. I will remind myself never to take his advice again. We had the appetizer sampler which was coconut shrimp, vegetable egg roll and dumplings. The coconut shrimp was super chewy, the egg roll was all mushy and the dumpling was just OK. The best part were the sauces, which were very tasty and covered up the taste of the food. Everything was lukewarm. We then had the Pad Thai with chicken. Noodles were WAY overcooked and I think we counted 8 very small pieces of chicken. No real flavor, not like any Pad Thai I have ever had. Totally disappointed that I wasted one of the two nights in Jackson at this restaurant.

The most underrated restaurant in Jackson. For lunch I had the Larb Salad, chicken, Bok chow, bean sprouts, edamame, etc. My wife had green shrimp curry. Both excellent and large for the money. Skipped the salad dressing after tasting the green curry and stole some and put it in the salad. Add a delicious house brewed Belgian Wit beer and wow. Service was also excellent.

Thai one on at this local watering (J)hole that brews it's own beer. They have several different styles, and if you like hops, then you must try the Melvin IPA. It's a double-dry hopped kick in the pants and one of the best IPAs I've ever had. I also had the Supa' Fly Honey Ale. This beer is extraordinarily sweet: think sweet tea sweet. Apparently this beer has over 30 lbs of fresh honey in it, and you can certainly taste it. This was a pleasant beer to drink while sitting on the patio in the the summer sun: again think sipping sweet tea while on a porch. However, I would shy away from Supa' Fly in other seasons. We also tried the Big Country, which is a tasty red ale. As far as the food goes, we only tried the springs rolls. They were good. The mint in them was strong, and the accompanying peanut sauce was good. The other sauce was a hot sauce, and it was OK. Sign me up, or rather, Thai me up, for Melvins and ales.

Over-priced and under-whelming. The food isn't horrible, but it doesn't taste very much like Thai food either. The beer selection is the only thing going for this place.

I liked this place a lot. I'm pretty sure this is the best pad thai I have ever had. The bar area is cool. Lots of locals. It's a young crowd. Had one of their beers--bumble bee. Very good.

Great food for decent prices. Also good beers. The service isn't the best but worth it.

The beer was great, which is important since they are a brewery. It seems like the Thai food was an after thought, which shows in the two dishes I had. The Tom Yum was almost bland, which is really disappointing in a normally vibrant dish. The salad rolls were just so-so, and came with a strange vinaigrette to dip in. These are two quintessential Thai dishes, and both fell short. Like I said, the beer is good. Worth a visit just for that. Maybe order the pub food? And it was pricey, even for Jackson.

The restaurant has at really catchy name and that's what led my friends and I there. They sat us down and gave us the menu. It was awkward since they just stared at us and didn't bother to come and ask us what we wanted to drink or order. It was like they have never seen a group of Asians in an Asian restaurant. When we opened the menu the only authenic thai cuisine on the menu was pad thai and pad see iew. The rest was a fusion of American food or just American food. The restaurant shouldnt be called the name it's called. The food was over priced too. If you are looking for authentic thai food this is not the place to go. We left before they came to take our order.

I could eat and eat and eat the veggie spring rolls on the appies menu. They come with two dipping sauces--spicy chile and peanut sauce...both delish, and two orders became my dinner (2 for $5!). Other items tried didn't do it for us though, including the Thai margarita (blech!). Their music was way too loud, but they turned it off outside and everyone seemed to appreciate it, including outdoor dining customers and staff at the bordering restaurant next door!

Nice place! We travelled to Yellowstone for several days and was dying to have some delicious food, and this place definitely satisfied us! Especially the coconut curry, my boyfriend just loved it! And the fixed juice of pineapple, cranberries and lemonade is really good and cooled down the summer.

Amazing beer. The bar setting is great and i go back just for that. But the food was really disappointing. Not good at all. So go for the beer but eat elsewhere first.

the PAD THAI is made with some sort of thick, creamy, coconut milk and peanut butter sauce, the chicken is cubes of pre-cooked charbroiled chicken, there are a lot of julienne carrots, and not much else. This is the most bizarre dish i have ever had: they charge about $18 for the pad thai. if you are really drunk and just don't care what you get you will be just fine. The service was fine, but the hostess was a real piece of work.

Such bizarre reviews, both good and bad. Hmm. We went here because a) my wife loves Thai (I like it as well), and b) they have won some prestigious beer awards. Yes, as some wrote the pad thai is strange. I prefer Thai Little Kitchen in NYC. At Thai Me Up it is creamy which threw us off. However, the cashew chicken was awesome. It was as if they dumped a bag of cashews in the dish. I love nuts and it was not over done. That was an exaggeration, but the dish was great. Both were a lot of food and we now have another meal for home. I went with the Mayhem, a gold medal winner a the GABF. It has a great, honey after taste. I also tried the Cherry Freak, a silver medal winner at the GABF. Not too sweet at all. The best part was our hostess was fantastic. Friendly, smiled, quick, and not overbearing. The epitome of what a waitress or waiter should be like.

Excellent !!!! Definitely EAT HERE when you are in town !!!!! The food is delectable and the service impeccible !!! I had the crab won tons in yellow curry that was perfectly spicy and packed with delicious flavor, bite after bite !! The manager took great care of us, checking on us with perfect timing, to make sure we had everything we needed.Kudos to a wonderful meal and experience at Thai Me Up !!!!

My friends and I came here one night for dinner but they were only serving the bar menu at 9:30pm. We decided to stay anyway because I knew finding dinner in this town so late would be tough. We decided to order a bunch of stuff on their bar menu and share it. I found all the food to be very good. The curry chicken was cooked very well and you can really taste a good amount of the coconut milk and it had a nice medium heat to it. The chicken was nice and tender and it wasn't greasy; which is a pleasant surprise for me. The chicken wings were nice and plump and delicious. The samosa and bison dumplings were also very delicious, and again, not greasy. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was because it was so cold! I had to wear my down jacket throughout the whole meal. I noticed other patrons with their arms crossed, shivering, wearing jackets too, etc... That made me want to leave right after eating because it was too cold to enjoy more drinks. Oh well.

If I could rate just the beer, it would get 4 stars. If I was rating just the food, it'd get 1 star. Because you could theoretically have part of an awesome night here just drinking brews, I guess the average rounds up to 3 stars? The idea of a brewery serving Thai food struck me as a little strange. I may just be a hick from tiny Jacksonville, Florida, but somethings just don't mix, like crocodiles and baby seals or Jenga and skateboards. A little lager never hurts a bowl of Tom Yum on the way down, but a stout and Southeast Asian food didn't sound quite right. I'm not a pairing snob or anything, but something just weren't... natural... about it. I shoulda trusted that gut instinct down in my belly, but I didn't, and Lord knows I paid the price. Our meal here started off promising, as we ordered two of the house-made beers. One was a stronger-than-normal brown ale, which was delicious. It didn't have the gross, overly-malty taste that a lot of browns get. We also had an I.P.A., which was hoppy and bright in all the right ways. Unfortunately, all of our nascent buzzy goodwill was drained by the food and the Thai-themed cocktail. The cocktail was a "Thaigarita," basically a margarita with coconut milk in it. The Sauza in the blend made the coconut milk taste sour, and the drink was wholly unpleasant and kind of curdle-y. The food: curry, a happy hour cheeseburger, and a dish that was supposedly Drunken Noodles (I honestly believe they may have given the wrong order to the cook). The curry was passable, but nothing special. The cheeseburger was bland - I had hesitated to order it, since a burger in a Thai restaurant seems weird, but the server assured me it was "the best thing on the menu." I won't necessarily dispute that, but it certainly wasn't tender, juicy, or seasoned in any kind of Thai-esque way - even the "Thai mayonnaise" was bland. The dish we got, I think, was the Spicy Noodles, though we ordered the Drunken Noodles. They were very spicy, with little sauce. Basically, a pile of noodles with a few over-cooked, mushy and flavorless vegetables and lots of chiles, with a smidgeon of Thai basil leaves. I woulda been okay with a little disappointment if I was plunking down $8 at a random Thai greasy spoon or from a cheap-o buffet, but this dish cost us like $16.

We decided to eat Thai in WY on 5/30 for dinner. As you can tell, it's a big mistake. The place seemed nice and crowded but the food was the terrible. The chef did not know how to cook Thai. My Thai food from canned sauce taste better than his. The food was smelly, too much fish sauce may be? The waitress was nice but when we mentioned that my son can't eat his noodle dish, she just ignored us and didn't offer us any other options. The Jungle Princess Chicken had curry in it which it wasn't supposed to have and no Thai basil leaves whatsoever were in the dish (Thai basil leaf is the signature ingredient in this dish). I loath curry so I ordered Jungle Princess to not eat curry and the curry was in there. My hubby's Tom Yum (Hot and Sour) Soup tasted like tap water. When I asked the waiter, he said no one orders it and so they are phrasing it out. Nice to know, buddy, tell your customers that next time. He also said that they used vegetable stocks for the soup. I told him to use shrimp stocks next time. That's what Thai chefs use in this soup. He said, "Oh!". Again, no big deal that we just drop $10 for a bowl of tasteless lousy soup that we had to tell him how to make it. What's a disgrace? Bad Thai chefs use a lot of curry, if only we have known it at the time. This Thai food was not authentic or good. It was also very expensive, $17 for an entree, and not worth it. The most expensive and worse Thai restaurant we have ever eaten at. From now on, we eat Thai in LA.

After participating in a 205 mile relay race, I was craving something with a lot of flavor and super delicious. I ordered the mixed vegetable plate with chicken. It was awesom. My wife ignored her egg rolls (not that good) and split my dish. Delicious :) The only negative about this place was the hostess. She tried to seat us in the middle of traffic, right in front of the entrance. When we asked for another table she threw a fit. I realize it was 9:30 pm on a Sunday, and she probably wanted to clean up and go home, but the place was really busy.

I had dinner there with my wife and her parents while visiting Jackson Hole. The food was excellent but the service left a lot to be desired. Our waiter took his sweet-ass time with everything and didn't seem that concerned about expediting our order. When our entrees were ready they came out piecemeal, my wife's being the last. It appeared the kitchen missed her order so we sat there for 5 minutes with our plates in front of us waiting on her's to arrive. When our full order finally got there the food was excellent. I had a spicy red curry with shrimp that was outstanding. Now if the service just matched the food this place would be a real home run.

Thai Me Up is really bad. And by really bad, I mean horrific. The food is worst than airplane food without the airplane AND they charge you an arm and a leg. It shouldn't be called Thai Food because it's not Thai nor is it food. Wow, this place should be embarrassed for the type of food they put out there. I had the pad see ew, the noodles were thin AND dry. What a combo. Not a hint of sweet soy sauce. Why is there broccoli and carrots in my pad see ew? Chinese broccoli and egg will suffice. Again, really really bad food. Like wow. Teton Thai is actually authentic. Go there instead... You are welcome!

My trip to Thai Me Up will always be memorable to me. First, because it was where my fiance and I had our celebratory dinner and drinks after getting engaged and second, because it's the only Thai restaurant I know of that brews their own beer. Besides the attraction of the beer, another important factor in our choice to dine here was that their menu is very clear as to which dishes are gluten free, since my fiance doesn't eat gluten. We stopped in shortly after they opened for dinner to have a drink before walking around Jackson a bit. She had a cocktail of some sort, don't recall which but I do recall she liked it. I tried a couple of their house brewed beers. The first I had was the Cherry Freak. I'm not a big fruit beer guy but this was very nice and refreshing as it was quite a warm day. My second beer was McGuiness, a cellar aged stout not at all unlike Guiness, also very delicious. After we walked around town a bit, we returned for dinner. We got a seat inside though unfortunately it was very hot inside with no air conditioning. We asked our waitress if there was any way we could get a seat outside. She said they were full but she thought there were a couple seats opening up. We browsed the menu for a bit and when the waitress came back she had a seat ready for us outside. We started with an appetizer, spring rolls. I really liked them and they were a bit different than typical spring rolls I've had at other Thai places but I honestly can't remember why thanks to the beers I had :) Along with our spring rolls, I ordered another of their beers, the Supa Fly. It's a very sweet, very tasty ale brewed with honey. After the spring rolls, our entrees arrived. The fiance went with the G-13 and I went with the Penang curry. The G-13 was amazing. It's an amazing dish with rice noodles and a reduction of coconut milk, curry and other wonderful things. Based off the taste I had of her dish, I wish that I had ordered the G-13 myself. That being said, my Penang curry was delicious though a bit spicier than I typically care for. Glad I didn't ask them to make it spicy as I do at most Thai places! One weird thing worth mentioning is the mens room. I'd had about five beers, so I needed to make a pit stop. When I walked to the mens room, the door was propped open and a guy with in there painting a mural on the wall. He didn't seem bothered by me using the urinal and I wasn't bothered by him painting while I used the urinal. I don't know, some folks might be put off by something like that in the bathroom but I thought it added to the charm of the place. Bottom line on Thai Me Up is that they've got excellent food and some really good beers. Definitely looking forward to getting back there someday soon!

Thai Me Up is a fun place. They have both Thai food and then a few other things that just please customers and may just have some Thai style spicing. The curry based dishes are the best in my opinion. The wings, available only in bar, are great. Locals will keep TMU busy as the beers they make are delicious and the "family" style seating in the bar is a way to meet new people. Good, higher energy louder restaurant.

We were skeptical about going to a Thai restaurant that is also a brew-pub, but were swayed to the positive after eating our first dinner here, so much so that we brought our friends there the second night in Jackson Hole. Not having been in Jackson Hole before, I was not a fan of the crowded downtown or extremely touristy atmosphere (mostly geared to tourists with lots of money). So my husband and I walked around the side streets looking for something more out of the way and yummy. Thai Me Up's location and food fits this bill! The food was extremely good, and for those used to spicy Thai food, was fairly accurate about their spice descriptions (hot meant hot). Over 2 nights we ordered Prik King, Pad Kee Mao, Evil Jungle King, G-13, Eggplant Curry, fresh spring rolls and Coconut Tofu. The biggest hit definitely was the Coconut Tofu--I'd head back to Jackson Hole just to eat this again!! My husband and I also had one of their brews both nights, the Old Chub (think that's the name). Very tasty. We weren't drinking much while there which was too bad as their brews seemed to be very good. Drawbacks: Poor service. We had the same wait-person both nights who was nowhere near operating at full speed. The first night our eggplant curry was brought with no eggplant and she tried to tell us that the chicken pieces were actually eggplant pieces. Hmmmmm. We got a small bowl of stir-fried eggplant about 1/2-way through our meal, 1/2 of which were not quite cooked through. The second night we waited a very long time to order and receive food, though the place was not hopping full. Special perk: The men's bathroom!! It's light with blacklight and painted with weird designs. I'm not stuck on gender designations when I have to use the facilities so went into the men's room on the first night when the women's room was full---totally awesome time in the bathroom enjoying the lighting/artwork!! On the second night was let down by using the women's room with pastel artwork and regular lighting. Very boring. My advice = skip to the men's room!

Not very good food and extremely loud. Seemed great if you are into a party scene but not for a date. Some of the food was good but other plates like the pineapple fried rice was so bland it was hard to eat. Won't go back and won't recommend.

I will start off my review by giving a full disclosure: I like beer a lot and I like snowboarding a little and I like my fiancé somewhere in between. Some might say I am unrepentant beer snob. My recent snowboarding trip to Jackson Hole was upgraded with nice little surprise, out of bounds powder and a great find, craft beers at Thai Me Up. Upon arriving I noticed a stout aged in cognac barrel on the menu. Barrel aged program in this little town brewery, can this be true? You betcha! Well come to find out, the brew master is a fellow San Diegan who crafted his art at one my favorite brew pub in So Cal Pizza Port. For those of you Jackson heads, Pizza Port took twelve medals home in 2011's Great American Beer Festival. And for those who are familiar, Thai Me Up's Melvin IPA is Port Brewing's equivalent of Wipeout IPA. SCORE. I can't speak for the food since we did not partake, but I can vouch 2000% for the brews and the hardworking crew. Every beer I tasted was delicious and these guys are not discounting on the malt or the hops unlike some of the other "local" beers, who shall remain nameless. Jackson, I now have more than fresh POW to come back for. oh yeah, owner Jeremy is an awesome guy. Keep up the good job TMU!

I had dinner here with a work group in January 2012. I was impressed with the ambiance, and the fact that it was so busy on a Thursday night in Jackson, despite the low tourist turn-out they were suffering at the time because of the lack of snow. This restaurant came highly recommended by the locals who were in our group. The dish I was served was wonderful. I had the G-13, and it was well done, although the portion was HUGE (not a fan of the large portion!). I felt like most of my group was fairly satisfied with their dishes, as well. I am not sure how to rate this restaurant as "good for groups". We had a rather large group - about 10 people, and we were tightly crammed into a tabled section toward the back end of the restaurant. Accommodating - ok, but a bit crowded and not entirely comfortable. However, I didn't get a chance to really see the rest of the restaurant's layout to see if they might have accommodated us better. Because of it's popularity, it's probably advisable to get a reservation before going. Good food, good atmosphere, and helpful wait staff.

Absolutely delicious Thai food! Went here while we were on vacation from Phoenix (which, believe it or not, have a pretty happenin' thai food scene), and we ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Green Curry Chicken, and the deep fried coconut tofu, and loved ALL OF THEM. The beer selection is also outstanding. You seriously can't lose with this place, it has great service, tasty food, and great drinks. We went with my parents who had never had thai food and were VERY skeptical. They are absolute converts now, and ask for Thai food every time we go out. BOTTOM LINE: delicious food, economical, great beer, friendly service. Eat here!

I understand that you probably have to grade on a curve when trying to review Thai food in cowboy country, but when you have an owner that is from Thailand you have to expect more. Starting with the springs rolls. I have never had anything so tasteless and silly. It was rice paper stuffed with shredded cabbage, and... nothing. The peanut sauce was way too bitter for some reason and the "yang" of the hot sauce was nothing more than straight sriracha sauce with a couple of chopped vegetables on top. Coconut Shrimp tasted okay, but a little overcooked - probably the only way to mess that up. If I didn't remember that I had ordered Pad Kee Mow I definitely wouldn't have been able to recognize the dish from the taste. Really heavy on the oyster sauce and crumbled pieces of dry chicken, but that didn't compare to the noodles which are supposed to be wide rice noodles, but tasted noodles from a box of Hamburger Helper. Forget being able to pick them up with chop sticks. The dish just did not taste authentic or good - and was way hotter than we ordered it. Beer from their own brewery isn't bad, but if you are looking for authentic Thai food either go somewhere else or adjust your expectations - dramatically.

Have been there a few times and NEVER had anything decent. Follow them on Facebook and just read the most offensive post by them and their disdain for "tourists". As such, if you're a "tourist" I wouldn't patronize this place. Hopefully the "locals" who are hardly "local" can support it.

I have been going here for the 3 years I have lived in Jackson and it became my hand-go to place to meet with friends and share a great meal. They made some renovations to their physical space and menu within the last month and I was pretty skeptical when I walked in and was hit with this. The place was always so noisy, you could barely hear yourself talk. In what seems like an effort to remedy this, they put up a wall between the main dining area and the bar area. Unfortunately, it is as noisy ever and now I couldn't see who walked into the bar area, something I always enjoyed. The menu was reduced to about 1/10th its prior size with a very limited selection now. Far less options and flexibility with dishes. With that said, the cocktails, appetizer and meal we ordered were still excellent. The curry pork dish with slivered pears was delicious and well prepared. I can possibly understand why they made these changes to keep the kitchen sane, but I always loved the variety on the menu they had before and the festive atmosphere this truly local hangout had. It was always packed, so not sure what the problem was. I am still absorbing it all and not sure if I will want to hang out there as much. Hope so.

Went in after hearing about Thai Me Up/Melvin Brewery at GABF. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a few of their brews. One of the bartenders was very friendly and visited with us about the brewery and their beers. He was very knowledgeable about the business. We did not eat but the food smelled very good.

Sat for five minutes before anyone said hello. The home-brewed ipa was awesome as we're the veggie spring rolls, but our party was split on the entrees. The veggie stir fry was tasty with a good kick, while the veggie train fried rice was more of a train wreck with little flavor and almost no veggies.

Has anyone ever noticed that Thai places have the most interesting names? No Thai! Thai Me Up are two of my favorites. I am sure others exist. Erica and I went here for our last dinner together in Jackson last Monday. The food and atmosphere were both first rate and recommended for Thai in Jackson. I decided to make the cold night warmer by adding too much chili peppers to my dish. Man did I sweat, but the noodles still tasted great. We started with a thai egg roll. Heavy fried batter, and served pipping hot, there was plenty of goodness to go around. They served it with "peanut sauce," which was more like a sweet dipping sauce with peanuts. I ordered my standard Pad See Ew, which was recommended over the Spicy Noodles. Erica ordered her standard Pad Thai. When it comes to Thai, we are very boring, but we know what we enjoy. My noodle dish was very good and had a generous portion of vegetables mixed in with the noodles. I prefer my Pad See Ew with lots of good sauce. This was a little light on the sauce, but that's just personal preference. I also wanted more spice so our server brought me the hot green chili peppers. I added a little too much. It didn't ruin the dish, it just turned up the temperature significantly. On the restaurant's scale I ordered a 3/5 spice level. Next time I'll go to 4 and see what happens. The service was great, the food pleasing, but the value a little to be desired. Maybe that's just Jackson, but $40 for two entres, one starter and tea should be less than that. In Chicago we go to noodle shops for $7-8. There are some benefits of competition. But since good Thai is hard to find in small towns, you go where you have to.

Dishes are hit and miss. We had the Tom Kha Gai soup, it was good. The coconut shrimp were tasteless, as was the dipping sauce for it. The Pad Thai is a disgrace! They do not put tamarind in it, nor does it have any sweetness to it, all you taste is lemon. Get the Pad Thai if you think you might have scurvy. It's basically small flat rice noodles, julienned carrots, two or three leaves of cilantro, soaked in an overpowering strong lemon, milky, peanut slurry with chicken cubes. It's missing a ton of flavors you expect to have in Pad Thai. The chili tray has chillies, but none are hot. Would not return.

where should i start? me , my wife and one of my friend at this restaurant one year ago summer in Jackson.( if this review is old, yelp can take it out) My wife said don't review online because we are also in food business for more than 10years and "don't like it don't go back". But i am start using yelp like a month ago and i want to share with my experience to that restaurant to other yelp user. 1. food = this is not really thai food , may be American version thai food. 2. service I want to talk about service. We order pad thai with highest spicy level but not spicy enough and we asked for put more chilli powder and fixed my both dish( pad thai and thai salad). But she refused and put siracha hot sauce bottle on our table. BIG JOKE. we feel like we have been humiliated. we took photos at their outdoor seating and when i look at that photos , i still remember one of my dinning experience in jackson. prices = jackson hole. its fine. like i said, i am in food business. 3 stars.

Overall: Clean, great food and creative drinks but very busy so get a reservation or arrive early. While waiting for our table we saw the coconut tofu go by and had to order it. Although I am not a fan of tofu, it was very good and came with a great peanut sauce. I highly recommend the Panang with Chicken and the Thai Russian if you like White Russians. Arrive early or get a reservation. This place is not huge but is very popular. We went on a Friday night at 8:30pm thinking it was past the rush, but we were wrong. Luckily there were only two of us so we only waited for ~10 minutes.

A really nice place to visit when in Jackson Hole. Great selection of beers and fantastic food. In comparison to Chicago prices, I thought the entrees were a bit high for a Thai restaurant, but its somewhat offset by the moderate prices of beer. To their credit, the dishes ARE HUGE. One dish can feed 2-3 people easily.

If there is 0.1 star, I will choose 0.1 rating star. The food is below the average, I won't complain about that part. But please train your waitress!!!! No manners no service, let your customer sit in the wind, freezing like sh*t. Wait for food at least 30 min! I won't recommend this restaurant at all!

I 'm on the road over six weeks a year this was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. The staff seemed to be a bunch of 'dudes' who decided to start a restaurant but had no knowledge of what they were doing. We had reservations, got a table pretty promptly and then waited 30 minutes before we ever got a drink. Had to flag the waiter down to get our order placed then, he proceeded to ignore/hide from our table and, after waiting an hour and fifteen minutes for our food - so I had to go the the host and get angry before they would bring up the manager (another 'dude'). He proceeded to apologize but made no excuses nor did he provide an explanation. He offered to buy us drinks and asked what we would like to drink and only brought out 50% of what we requested (& never realized his oversight - insult to injury). In the end, the food was average at best (& I've eaten Thai food in dozens of restaurants around the U.S.) and we HAD TO WAIT 1:45 FOR THE FOOD TO ARRIVE. Do yourself a favor and find someplace else to enjoy a meal in Jackson.

Would I go back? Doubt it. However, I do feel for the owner. I expect good service and food out of a restaurant that is pricy. Everything is pricy in jackson hole. We got seated outdoors right away. Nice view of the main road if you like people watching like me. Good right? Not really. 30 minutes went by. No service. We called it to the hostesses attention and she had a waitress come over. She said our current waitress was "too busy!" So, we ordered the food. Took another 45 minutes for the food to come out. While we were patiently waiting for our food and service, we saw others get served that arrived far later than we did. We asked for the owner. He came over with a scowl and wasn't too responsive. We told him what was going on and he gave us the attitude "what do you want me to do about it?" So, the food arrives and the owner comes back. Now he's smiling and says "thank you." Apparently, his staff was overloaded and never told him. He said no one else had the "balls" all night to say anything other than us and he was able to reshuffle things around. He brought out yummy fried bananas for dessert. I have to say the food was good. We ordered pad thai, spring rolls, and I don't recall what else. Again, I feel for the guy. Getting seasonal help that is only there for a few months. Who cooks Thai food in the Wyoming area anyway, right? I'd say most of his staff was foreign probably on summer visas. Then again, why wasn't he more responsive and nicer the first time? Didn't offer to comp our meal or throw in another dish. Too little too late!

Girlfriend and I went here for her birthday. They lost our reservation, but were able to get us right in. I had the Panang and she had the G-13. The G-13 was spectacular. I wish I would have had that instead. Wait staff were very friendly. Prices were good. Food was speedy. Their in house brews left a little to be desired though for my tastes. We would go back. Very nice atmosphere and cozy.

Not real thai food..very creamy and non-authentic. and very pricey at the same time. Try local cuisine when in jackson hole.

For me, thai food is really hard to mess up, and I rarely have a thai meal that is disappointing. Maybe that's because I usually stick with the Panang curry, which typically contains coconut milk, and even if served with rat poison, would probably still be yummy. Regardless, Thai Me Up is one of those thai food places that stands out from the crowd because of their excellent traditional curry dishes, as well as some unique combinations of thai and american cuisine. If I recall correctly, I had an excellent pan-fried Idaho trout and red curry dish that was excellently prepared and quite delicious. My wife had a green curry with local green tomatos that really made her dish pop. In addition, my brothers fried rice was hearty and flavorful. Oh, did I mention that they had Deschutes Hop Henge...on draft. You've got to be kidding me with this tap list! Always rotating with delicious craft beer, including gluten-free options, Thai Me Up is an outstanding restaurant that truly satisfied my drinking and dining requirements.

The beer and the food are incredibly delicious! Try the beer flight, trust me!

Good drink and beer selection however if you're looking for authentic Thai food, don't come here with high expectations. If you are seeking general Asian cuisine and authentic Thai food isn't important, then I would recommend this place for a meat/rice dish.

The wait staff was WAY below par. Would give a lower rating but my spicy fish (pan fried fresh trout) was excellent. We showed up at 7:00 on a Saturday night and were prepared to wait. Luckily we were seated right away, then the wait began. We had to remind our waiter we ordered soup, a coconut milk something, that was okay but not great. Then after about a 40 minute wait we saw our fish in the window. The waiter then came over and told us another waiter "stole" the fish and gave it to another table. We waited again but the fish was excellent. They did buy us one drink for waiting, but it was our 4th drink and no buzz so I'm thinking no alcohol involved. Maybe good on a week night but stay away on weekend.

Despite the kitschy name, I had high hopes for his based on the reviews here. Man, was this place a disappointment! An observation: not a single Thai in sight! I was the closest to a Thai person in the restaurant. Not that this automatically means it's going to be a bad restaurant, but it was an open of the food. Every place in Jackson seems to have an extensive beer and wine menu, and Thai Me Up was no exception. The food, however, left me wishing I'd stuck to non-ethnic food in Jackson. I got the G-13, a noodle dish, with beef for $16. The beef must've been what was on sale at the supermarket because it was flavorless, chewy, and cut into small chunks. I'm not sure if I've ever had beef CHUNKS in Thai food, but perhaps the cut of beef was supposed to be stewed?! To sum it up: pricey kitschy fake Thai food.

Go here for the wine!! The wine list is deep and has some real gems (7 Deadly Zins and Cakebread were both available when we went), and the bottles are only minimally marked up from wholesale - maybe $10. They also brew their own beer but we didn't try it b/c we were so excited about the absurdly cheap high-end wine. I am not a stickler for authenticity, so I can't speak to that, but I thought the dishes were pretty creative. I had the G-13 that another reviewer also had, although I had it with chicken not beef. It was basically wide rice noodles similar to pad see ew but with a peanut sauce and a bunch of vegetables. I thought it was great and ate so much I almost made myself sick. Yum. The prices are pretty reasonable for Jackson and even though the restaurant is downtown it's a little bit off the beaten path. The tuk tuk parked outside in the garden is a nice touch. I would go back.

3 strikes and you're OUT..... Ate here several years ago and the food was so-so. Nothing to go out of your way for. Decided to give it another try last year and while the food was better, the service was horrid. This year, I did'nt even get to try the food because the waitress (british accent) had such an attitude that I canceled my order and walked out.

We had a fun dinner while in town. It was decent food, moderate pricing and OK drinks. Nothing to write home about, but if you are looking for Thai food it is good in Wyoming!

Awesome beers, tremendous Thai curry and noodles, good music/atmosphere, and cool helpful staff. The Darko, a 14% abv russian stout, is very good. And when you ask for your food hot - don't be a wuss!

Yum. Great beer, good service, delicious food. A bit spendy, but it's a resort town. I had evil jungle curry 4 stars, even after being warned that 4 stars was crazy hot and lots of people send it back. The wife had the "dare you to eat these they're so hot" noodles. Turned out both were good and spicy, like we like, but nothing ridiculous. Wife's Thaigarita drink was just so-so, our only "complaint".

We had lunch here (despite the corny name) and really enjoyed it. Our server was quite concerned that we order our food with the precise amount of desired spice. She was a bit worried when I ordered my Evil Jungle as 4 out of 5 but it was just right--a nice warm glow. We ate outside on a beautiful day; can't ask for much more.

Cool place. Starts getting busy early, fun atmosphere with good music that you can hear but don't have to shout over. They started brewing there own beer last year, good stuff too! The flash fried pepper appetizer was simple and good, and the g-13 noodles with kafir curry was hearty and tasty. Love this place.

I am surprised by the comment that they do not like 'tourists' I travel to Jackson a few times each year and we go here everytime. The G-13 is one of the best meals I have ever had, I dream about it for weeks after each trip. And I have never been treated any way but wonderful. I LOVE this place.

Good service. Outside seating. Parking within hotel area. Great curry, spicy but not as advertises by server, they put additional spices in the table. Decent price.

Other yelpers seemed to like the "in house" brews. When we visited, they only had 2 "home" brews. Tried the 22 IPA. Not so good. Fortunately, they had several Grand Teton Brewery taps. Had some yellow curry chicken whch was pretty good, but really overpriced for a happy hour dish.

Ordered take-out last minute as they were closing. Decent food but way too expensive. The vegetable dish was good but my Pad Kee Mao was horrible and the Pad Thai was forgettable. $14/dish!!!

First of all, I didn't know you could screw up a Thai ice tea. But it's either a terrible day for whoever made the drink or that Thai Me Up just doesn't understand what Thai ice tea is, coz my $4.5 drink tasted like ice water with a subtle hint of milk. (and there's not even an ounce of exaggeration in that statement, I swear.) I mean, when it comes to Thai ice tea, ppl usually complain about how sweet it is and not how watery it is! I was so shocked that I had to go back to my hotel and mix my own milk tea to recover (yay for Lexington's free cookies and 24-hr tea/coffee!! Stay here!) As for pad thai, it was my bad that I didn't read my reviews first before I ordered. But still, it's just pad that forgodsake!! The noodle was sour, and everything else on the plate was tasteless. There was even some soupy stuff (?) on my supposedly dry noodle dish. It was edible, but bland. Have to agree with my fellow yelper- Trader Joe's instant pad thai tastes better than this. Service was fine, and the restaurant nicely decorated. Try to at least avoid the tea and noodle if you just have to try it yourself. Sad, sad tummy here.

OMG -this such good food. We have had lots of Thai food in our lives and this was soooo good! The Evil Prince (Hotness level 4) was delightful. Not too so hot that it was not edible but spicy enough to make it good to eat. The G-something was the best I have eaten. I have a gluten intolerance and the menu specified what was safe for me to eat. If you want great food -- go here. Say hello to Tilly the greatest server ever!

Ahi tuna had an awesome coating of pepper and sesame seeds, however it is in a weird textured sauce, still good though. Skip the Pad Thai, instead go for the green curry.

There are 3 Thai restaurants around Jackson, I really like Thai food and this place is starting to get better and better. Great atmosphere and the owner is very friendly and always around the restaurant.

I come from Chicago, so I'm no stranger to good food. But I shit you not when I say that this is hands down the best thai food I have ever had anywhere. Not only do they deliver the perfect taste combinations you come to expect from thai food but they put a twist on everything. My green curry used tomatillos instead of thai eggplant, which was a great twist to an old favorite. They also have unique thai twists on traditional drinks such as Thai Russian (white russian with coconut milk) which were quite incredible, and a great selection of beers. The deserts (we tried all four) were all incredible and pretty innovative (sticky rice with fruits came with a salad of dried ginger and mint). Honestly I expected Jackson Hole to have good food but this was simply outstanding food for any place anywhere. Highly recommended!

Great ambience (except the black light in the men's room), excellent service. Good portions, tasty. The reason it has 3 stars is: the ke maw noodles were al dente (the server offered to have the kitchen make us a fresh plate), the beer was not better than a good cold Singha and it was expensive, the tom ka gai (coconut milk soup with chicken) was mild and not that flavorful. We liked the sauteed vegetables a lot, the rice was great, the spring rolls were unusual, the spicy fish was good, the curry was good, but not enough beef. I'd go back, but there's soooo many places to choose from in Jackson.

Yikes! They might call this Thai food, but it's unlike any Thai food I've had in Thailand, SF, LA, or anywhere else. 1) their kitchen hood is obviously underpowered as you smell like kitchen grease after eating here. Wear your dirty stuff from the hamper b4 going here. 2) the curries were a watery flavored milk mess. It ain't no curry. 3) I use Pad Thai as my measuring stick for a good Thai restaurant... well, they failed. Their menu boasts 'Pad Thai without catchup unlike in LA'. Well, when I got my Pad Thai dish, it was noodles, but it doesn't taste like any Pad Thai I've ever had. The noodles were sour and edible, but it ain't no Pad Thai. I've had better luck with Trader Joe's or instant Pad Thai boxes from Whole Foods. And to pay a lot for the food is insult to injury. I'm sure the fish bowel sized drinks are a big draw here... but please please please don't call this stuff Thai food.

I LOVE Thai food. So it's extra disappointing when we go somewhere that's not great. We were coming back into town from a day of hiking and exploring in Grand Teton NP and there were strong requests for Thai food coming from the back seat. Settled on this place although I was a little apprehensive based on some of the various internet reviews, plus the prices. Had almost eaten here a few days prior with my mother-in-law but they had been closed for lunch (sign in window stated that the chef had to travel to the Malaysian embassy in LA to renew his visa!) Well by the time we got back into town we were pretty sweaty and gross, plus two out of three littles were asleep in the car. Settled on take-out. Which took FOREVER. It was at least a half hour wait, and when we got to out hotel the food was half wrong. It tasted OK, but it was just the wrong food. My kids ordered Pad See Ew which, as any Thai food eater knows has noodles, broccoli, some egg and a mild brownish sauce. They sent us home with noodles, veggies, and a thin spicy chile sauce. We called to try to get them to deliver up some actual pad see ew but they insisted that we did in fact have the right dish and that they would be happy to make it again without the spice but not deliver it. So we caved and sent my hubby to pick it up. Lame. Also the food was just way too salty. I understand that basically no matter what you eat in Jackson, it's going to cost an arm and a leg, but for the money they should be able to make decent food and be more apologetic when they mess it up.

Hey, not the best Thai food anywhere, but certainly the best Thai Food in Jackson. Had a great time chowing down on their wild salmon green curry whilst enjoying a Bitch Creek Ale. All while the bar-top Buddha gave me an approving smile.
