We came to the Silverdollar Restaurant on a Saturday night in the off-season. It was quiet except for the bar which was packed watching The Final Four. This review is only for the Restaurant as we didn't visit the bar. We'd searched all over town for a place to have dinner and had hoped for something that was classic Jackson Hole, but this wasn't really it. The Silverdollar is a nice restaurant, muted colors, low lighting, but not pretentious or unwelcoming. The menu was Americana, with some pasta dishes, steaks, an even some seafood dishes. We ordered three dishes: a 1/2 chicken which came with bright green beans and fluffy mashed potatoes; a Wagyu Burger with bacon and cheese and fries, and a butternut squash ravioli dish. All three dishes were mostly good. The burger was big and a mess...it had BBQ sauce on it that refused to stay on the burger. It was still tasty. The ravioli dish was okay, not spectacular, and nearly devoid of any kind of sauce. It may have been a light butter sauce, but there was so little it was hard to tell. The service was good and attentive, we never had to wait to make a request or receive something. If you'd like a good meal in Jackson Hole, this place should be on your list...if all the other places in town are closed.
