Not bad. I had the "breakfast special" which was not super special per-se, but it was good and it was cheap. Just a bagel with some cream cheese and bacon. Coffee was decent. I was hoping for some better orange juice, but it was just the bottled Nantucket Nectar stuff. Simple ambiance. Not super crowded on a Sunday morning. Not much else to say. It's an ok place.

Really great coffee! Right in downtown with super easy access, really friendly staff and knowledgeable when it comes to which drink to order! Best coffee in Jackson Hole! They have whatever flavor or style of coffee you may be looking for! Thanks for my Latte! Yum Yum!

This is my favorite local coffee shop. They serve yummy breakfast and lunch as well as good espresso drinks. Atmosphere is great for getting computer work done and the service is always fast. Make sure to try the breakfast croissant!

Best place in town to get a coffee!! If you go to the Starbucks instead of this, you're a fool and probably shouldn't even be in Jackson. The prices are fair, ambiance is lovely & relaxing, and the owners are always around, which is a great sign!!

JH roasters is better coffee. This place isn't as home-ie feeling. Just a coffee and that's it. And coffee isn't amazing or anything. I am a long time fan of JH roasters. I tried this place a few times while JH roasters was closed for moving. I have it a few tries but just wasn't as good.

Coffee shop is amazing! Employees are so friendly and helpful and help you find a drink exactly what you are looking for. Brewed coffee is great, nice and mellow with a lot of flavor. Vanilla caramel latte is so delicious and perfect. Overall ambiance of the coffee shop is just perfect

Coffee was good. Opened at 6:30. We went in for breakfast and were told pastries did t arrive till 7. At 7:20 we left because there were no pastries.

These guys are great to out-of-towners! I live out of state and tried some delicious cowboy coffee when passing through Jackson Hole. I loved it, and have ordered it regularly from my home state. As someone who orders coffee online regularly, I can attest to the fact Cowboy Coffee Co. is one of the fastest at shipping. I actually order coffee from Jackson Hole Roasters too, and the latest time after a frustrating two weeks of waiting I ordered some Cowboy Coffee. The Cowboy Coffee arrived in two days. I'm still waiting for the Jackson Hole Roasters order...

  • Nancy H.

Highly overrated. Service slow and unenthusiastic . Cafe is improperly ventilated... Still waiting to see if the coffee is any good...Actually coffee is great...but not great enough to make up for the uninspired service

The first time we walked by this place, I wanted to go in: there were succulents and cactus in the window, and it was snowing outside. We went in a few days later and I adored it: there are lights strung from the ceiling, lots of cozy places to sit, and adorable decorations. I got their "Divinity Chai" which was only ok, but I'd love to come back and try some of their other options, including their sandwiches. 5 stars on the atmosphere, 4 based on the drink I had.

  • Forest B.

5 stars for the ambiance. Music choice was alt music and was superb. Caramel Cap. Or the Mocha latter (esp. The mocha) we're delicious. No extra charge for extra espresso!! LOTS of power outlets and seating for studying, or a great place for chatting with friends while on vacation. Great location, right by the Central Park of Jackson. Muffins were bomb.

Best coffee west! We sampled coffee in Boise, Missoula, Whitefish, Helena, and Bozeman. This was the best. Don't miss it.

All I can say about this place is: Uh I don't even know? What the hell is a Cowboy Coffee anyway? It's like some sort of in-joke acting as if Jackson, Wyoming is some sort of country bumpkin land. It's not. It's a nice, modern town with all sorts of tourist traps littered all over the landscape. Plus western friendliness. Not to say that's a bad thing, but it does mean you're getting gouged on prices. Cowboy coffee is no exception. On the plus side, it does mean you can get a tea or coffee with almond milk *almost* anywhere. It's an interesting place, and if I recall I think I got my chai with almond milk here. Either way, it was good. I dig Oregon Chai and Cowboy Coffee delivers that.

I'm a coffee snob :-) and this stuff was very good. I ordered my usual latte the way I like it and they did a great job, so we went back the next day before we left town and they did it again. They don't open until 630am, and we were there a few minutes early, trying to get an early start on our 10-hours of driving, and were met with a cheerful welcome. Also, they roast their own beans. Hub ordered a breakfast bagel with egg, cheese, and bacon and it was irresistibly delish. I planned on just two bites and ate almost half (it's as big as a cheeseburger).

  • Foley J.

They don't make a bad Americano. They also have what they call a wild tribe that is good. Usually they are one of our first stops when we get to Jackson.

Great location, super friendly staff, and consistently excellent coffee, pastries, etc!

After sampling several coffee shops in Jackson, this is the one I was most impressed by. Perfectly executed lattes and fast service-- yes please!

Was ok. Small place, took awhile for a breakfast sandwich, But was pretty good. Thus place did in a pinch.

Standard coffee cafe but good service. Always greeted with a pleasant smile and a helpful barista. We were visiting tourists this early Spring and enjoyed a Cowboy Coffee every day we were in town. They make good mocha lattes with nice designs on top. Was it the best coffee I've ever had, no; but it was the best I could find in Jackson Hole and I was always happy to get my coffee for the day. I didn't ever eat there but it looked like they had a great menu of bagels and sandwiches.

  • Valentina F.

Great cafe! Very nice atmosphere for hanging out with friends or with just a laptop. I had a breakfast sandwich and a cafe latte! Both delicious. The croissant breakfast was extremely tasty! I will definitely go back.

Amazing coffee and knowledgeable baristas, especially try the "cubano" aka "the toddler"....you won't regret it. Promise. Reminded me of a drink I had in france, so you know its legit.

Great Cowboy Croissant w bacon- warm gooey cheese on eggs in a crispy croissant. Low key on a Saturday am. I am coming back!!! Pleasant friendly service, easy place to relax and check your email, great food.

Disappointed. Heard about their breakfast sando. It didn't come out as it was described on the menu, and they were out of croissants. Came out on a below average everything bagel. Coffee was good.

Good cup of coffee but no different than most coffee houses.

  • Shane W.

Good and friendly service. The espresso drinks are decent; it helps to be specific with what you want in your drink with a few of the baristas. The location is great.

I had to come back! We stopped by accident on our way to our hotel and I had a great espresso! On out way back we stopped again in Jackson hole and I had to escape to get one more. The coffee shop is really cool, and the staff very friendly. I really enjoyed it!

Stopped in super quick because the place we originally going to go to was packed. Hubs got a breakfast sandwich and I got a liege waffle. The waffle was DIVINE. obviously freshly made. I couldn't take a bite without groaning with delicious pleasure. Husband was super impressed with his sausage and egg sandwich and was very glad we stopped there rather than going to McDonald's drive through.

I ordered a chai soy latte with sugar-free vanilla. Just because a syrup is "sugar free" doesn't mean it's not sweet or to add more! It actually requires less sryup typically. MAN! Holy sweetness overload! He put far too much syrup in it, but it was bearable so I didn't take it back. A friend of mine ordered the "huckleberry mudpot" which I thought sounded like it would be a sugar-bomb too but it was much less sweet than mine. I liked it so much, that is what I ordered the next time I came in. A white chocolate mocha with huckleberry...YUMMY! Have yet to try their baked good or iced drinks, but the location is great so I'm sure I will be back for a treat sometime.

AWESOME breakfast sandwich! Good coffee too and they do a great job with espresso drinks!

Cowboy Coffee is a great local coffee house that is iconic of the Jackson Hole region. I travel back and forth from Seattle every other month and this is one of my fav first stops in town. Being a Seattle coffee fuss, Cowboy Coffee is right at the top with some of the big chains from a quality and flavor perspective and a 'must-do' for any java connoisseur. The café offers a variety of drink options from drip, the full line-up of espresso drinks, to cool granita's & frap's in the summer and a variety of custom made sandwich options for hungry tourists or Jackson Hole locals heading out for a day of hiking or skiing. The café's environment is a hip, stylish comfy western motif decorated with fantastic work from local artists and offers several tables for lounging and catching up with friends or cruising the web on your favorite device. The guys who work there (most of the time the two owners) are friendly, welcoming and fun to talk with and are always attentive to their customer's needs. I tend to 'over customizes' my order and they get it right every time - big points! The next time you're in town, be sure to visit this great find and support the local guys who are brewing up a fabu cup of coffee!

We stayed in the Jackson, WY area while visiting Grand Teton National Park in Oct. 2012. As with another referral in another town, we decided to try it and sample their coffee drinks. We prefer a smaller chain in our home city to the big megachain that is almost everywhere, so we were curious to see what the local Cowboy Coffee offered. This is a new place, and we chatted with one of the friendly young owners. My mocha and my wife's latte were good. Nice flavor. I can only hope that this coffee spot grows in popularity and is successful. A little more than a block from the intersection of Cache and Broadway, it has a nice location. Signage is a bit small (under the overhang shielding the sidewalk out front}. Owner told me it is an original sign from an eaerlier incarnation, years ago. I hope you enjoy your coffee there!

Stopped at the Cowboy Coffee Co. multiple times during our stay in town. We are die hard starbies fans, and this place made us convert to staying local. They roast their beans on the premisses and can make you anything on or off the menu. They make a strong and flavorful coconut latte and white mocha with hazelnut. We noticed they make sandwiches. Next time we are in town, we are going to grab sandwiches to take on our hikes as the descriptions looked tasty and more importantly, the prices were very fair for the area. Please patronage this hidden gem right on the heart of town across from the square. The owner is friendly and makes a great cup of joe!

Best coffee in Jackson Hole...by far! Easy to find in the center of town--Cowboy Coffee is across from the Town Square Antler Arches. This coffee house is brand new--just opened before summer but looks like it has always been there. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed but the staff is friendly...even to tourists! On my first visit I tried a brewed coffee with a chocolate croissant...it was awesome and I was so glad to be at the start (and not the end!) of my vacation. I went back several more times--once for lunch (paninis and sandwiches are super delicious--I had the Bullseye...it hit the spot) and again during a hot afternoon when I ordered their Wild Tribe a blended iced latte with a shot of espresso. I've had these types of drinks at many coffee shops and this was truly the best. Nothing artificial about it and not too sweet. I have another trip to Jackson Hole scheduled next month and can't wait to go back to Cowboy Coffee.

Easily the best place to get coffee and/or breakfast in Jackson. I highly recommend their espresso drinks to all other coffee snobs. They roast their own coffee and do an excellent job at it. The roasts really bring out the flavor of the beans. They have a light and dark roast on drip. The light roast was truly light (not medium like many other places) and had the fruity sweetness that characterizes light roasts while maintaining low acidity. I also had a cortado and an espresso during my stay in Jackson (A double shot cortado was only $3.25!) and the espresso was fantastic. Bold, spicy, fruity, and - more coffee shops need to do espresso like Cowboy Coffee rather than going for dark roasts that kick you in the face. I also had breakfast here with my girlfriend, and we both had the Granger: avocado and bacon on a fresh brioche bun from Persephone's bakery down the street. Great balance of avocado and bacon, and only $6. It kept me full all morning, and usually I'm hungry by 11 after a hearty breakfast. My only regret is that I don't have room in my luggage to bring a pound of beans home. If they ever start shipping to North Carolina, I will be a regular customer.

The place is cute, and the lady taking our order was super sweet and friendly. Unfortunately, the food and beverage we ordered (that weren't pre-packaged), left much to be desired, especially after all the other meals we had so far in JH. The BLT my husband ordered was disappointing: bacon soggy, with white flavorless tomatoes. The chai I ordered was like sugar milk. I'm a little shocked at all the high reviews. Maybe we came on an off day? At least the barista making the drinks was having an off day. She was really rude when I asked if my chai was sweetened, and she sharply replied "well it is a sweetened chai." I had ordered the spicy (not the sweet, they have two kinds), but I didn't want to upset her further, so I took my drink and thought, I do have a sweet tooth, how bad could it be? Bad :( Again, I didn't have the coffee, so maybe the coffee is good and that's what they are known for.

Very cute coffee shop located in the heart of cookie cutter Jackson hole. Thoroughly impressed with the settings and my order of cafe latte. Wish I hadn't eaten in colter bay before heading to Jackson. Will definitely make it a point to stay in this cute looking town with highlights of cowboy hints here and there.

Awesome & charming coffee shop! The to go cups are a work of art, lattes are creamy & great, the Snickers is a warm dessert drink & the Bhakit Chai is delightful! Mmmmm!

I stopped for coffee and breakfast on my way through Jackson Hole and had a great experience! The drink selection is diverse and the Skinny Pig breakfast sandwich was delicious! From the fun cowboy decor to the sweet, smiling staff this is a great spot. And there's free wifi!

First off, the coffee here is amazing. I ordered a latte and it was perfect. Really good tasting coffee. It actually killed me seeing people walking into the Starbucks a few blocks away. Why would anyone bother which such terrible coffee when there is a great option so close? My husband and I also ordered sandwiches. I got one with mozzarella, tomato, lettuce, avocado, and pesto and it was delicious. My husband also really enjoyed his. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I stopped by here last week in order to get a nice little pick me up as well as to get out of the sun. The inside of this place looks like your average coffee shop with a large coffee bar as well as some tables and some art on the wall. After perusing the menu for a minute I decided to order a large cold pressed coffee. They handed it over to me almost immediately and I was quickly on my way. The taste of the coffee was decent with little to no bitterness which was good. What got me was the size of my drink and the 3 something that it cost. It's not like I got a fruiffy drink or anything. The bottom line for me is that I might head back here again in the future. While I do believe it was overpriced, the coffee was decent and I wouldn't mind trying something made fresh in the future.

This place is great! Very warm and homey, great music, incredibly friendly staff, excellent drinks (quality and selection) and a great brunch menu. I've spent a few days studying here, so I can attest to the deliciousness of many sandwiches and pastries. They offer tons of cool (as in temperature, though also awesome) drink options for summer, too. If you're visiting town, support this local spot!

No frills, good coffee, excellent service and incredible environment right on the square. Get there early for the Cowboy Croissant before the pastries are gone! Bhakti chai is great. New outdoor bar is pretty awesome.

Pricey but great coffee! The coffee was 10 star, and the croissant was superb, and one of the best I have ever enjoyed! Where I drop a star is it took forever to get a breakfast sandwich, and when my Beau did it get it, it was cold. Staff and vibes in place were great!

This is a cute little place with some great art in Downtown Jackson. I only ordered a smoothie so I can't speak to any of their other items but $6 for a smoothie almost knocked me onto the floor and I'm from California, one of the most expensive states. The guy behind the counter couldn't even muster a "hi" when I ordered and it took a while for me to get my actual smoothie but it was good. Yummy and tropical. The vibe here is definitely what gives it three stars instead of two. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt they were just having an off day too.

Thanks to a recommendation from the desk clerk at our hotel my hubby and I stopped in Cowboy Coffee. Thanks to Kirsten R's comment about a Cubano coffee, that was my selection. Not unlike a breve, but with a little sugar brewed in with the espresso for just a soft kiss of sweetness, it was a delicious vacation coffee treat. My husband was also happy to find he could get Harney tea. Nice people work here and the barista knows his stuff. Prices on par with other Jackson coffee houses. In addition to coffee and tea beverages were a few eats. Baked things from e.leaven and Persephone, salads, sandwiches and a couple of breakfast options. All posted on chalkboard above coffee counter. A little dark inside, but they have standard height tables (woohoo) in the mix along with high perch counter height seats. If you are fortunate enough to get one of the three (?) outside tables you'll have a great view on to the tourist traffic in Jackson square. (See photo). I'll admit, as sacrilege as it may be, that I didn't find a lot to like about Jackson downtown. But Cowboy Coffee was on the short list of things to like a lot.

Limited vegetarian breakfasts. Out of yogurt and had no cold brew. It was winter, so I guess such is not the season for it? Nice place and has a cool local vibe. But breakfast bagel and coffee were just ok. I would visit again. Had cool photographs of WY on display. Prob 3.5. Staff was friendly.

This coffeehouse looked inviting! Coming in . Leather couch etc. comfty! Just as I sit down to enjoy a cup of coffee with my husband. I thought it was Folgers! It was suppose to be a drip coffee with is usually personalized . But it tasted old as a shoe! We left the coffee and walked out. I think they are clueless about a rich cup of java!

This place is great! I had never been to Jackson Hole before and needed to find a place with wifi to do some work. Fortunately, Yelp brought me here. They had a fast wifi connection, lots of seating with available outlets, and a good selection of food that extends beyond the standard café affair. I ended up getting a soy latte and a half panini/half soup, which really hit the spot. To top it off, the staff was super friendly and helpful. All that said, it's kinda pricey at $16 for the items I mentioned above so keep that in mind.

Cute locally-themed coffee spot. Had a breakfast croissant sandwhich that was delicious. The coffee was nice and stong, not overpriced, and more flavorful than the corporate coffee options.

Without a doubt the very best coffee in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Rich, smooth and full of flavor. This coffee is not over roasted and scorched which makes the coffee bitter. Cowboy Coffee actually tastes like it's aroma. Completely satisfying and really delicious. Bravo,Bravo , Bravo. 5 stars for sure. Don't miss it!

For starters, I've never actually been to this coffee shop. My mother-in-law bought me a bag of coffee from here as a Christmas gift. I absolutely LOVED the coffee, I loved it so much I went and ordered more online when I ran out. Ordering online we super easy. However, when I got my order receipt, I realized I did it too quickly and made a mistake on my order. I called the number provided and left a message. Within an hour they had gotten back to me, corrected my order and shipped my coffee hours later. Shipping cost was a tiny bit pricy but between the great customer service and delicious coffee, I will definitely be getting some more! If I ever make it out to Jackson, I will be stopping by to try out their food.

  • Josie F.

The coffee was so good, we couldn't get ourselves to go anywhere else. My husband said the drip coffee was excellent. I had both the hot cappuccino and chilled latte (both with 2 shots) and they were sooo good. The pastries are from Persephone. We tried the croissant. It was so buttery, we couldn't finish it. The staff is very nice.

Cool atmosphere...decent coffee....kinda slow service...you stand there waiting to pay for a long while. They have free wifi...but, was disabled when we tried to use it. Were the coffee not pretty good....we'd not return.

  • Alec G.

As far as food is concerned, this place isn't one $ and the service isn't good. I ordered a smoothie and a sandwich and it came out to almost $20. After 30 minutes, I finally gave up waiting for the sandwich and asked for a refund. They didn't even refund me the entire purchase of the sandwich but after waiting for so long, I didn't care. It's not like they were busy at all.
