"This is one of the best Chinese Restaurants I have ever been to. We were on vacation in Jackson and were just needing some good Chinese food and this place was next to the hotel. The hot and sour soup was excellent but the egg rolls were just awesome! Then the meal arrived and wow! Very large servings of chicken, noodles and beef. We didn't think we would be able to eat it all, but it was so good, that we stuffed ourselves. Really good food.

Just a quick lunch with good tasting food. I love the Mai Tai. The Beef and Black Mushroom lunch special satisfied my belly for Chinese food. The lunch specials come with your choice of soup and an egg roll. I did not like the egg drop soup, but the wonton soup was good. Another good eat; crab meat wonton (Crab Rangoon) comes with 4. The staff are friendly and speak good English. Service is fast for lunch, I was in and out in about 30 minutes.

Don't try this if you have other choice. Food is not worth the price. There's no service at all. The servant doesn't know anything, and 16% tip is charged.

BEST CHINESE FOOD IN JACKSON maybe even Wyoming! The service is impeccable, always friendly and make you feel like family. The food is great quality and a great price. I have been coming here for years and love it so much! Ask for Sam because he is the best!! Also get the poop poop platter because it comes with scorching fire! Don't forget the volcano drink with the extra long straws. Don't miss this restaurant it's the Chinese place favored by the locals as well as the visiting Asians. SO COME!!!

We love their food. I had tonight's special, a Szechwan trio of shrimp, beef, and chicken, while Candace had the cashew chicken. I misplaced most of my egg roll (Candace) but overall, excellent. Ãœber $30 for both. I highly recommend trying the food if you are in Jackson.

If McDonalds served Chinese food it would be better. We had the General Tsao's chicken and the Mongolian Beef. Unfortunately, it was really terrible. I am from out if town so I based my decision to order here based on the reviews. They could not have been more misleading. My advise, try somewhere else.

Always fantastic food and wonderful service! Food is always fresh and the fried foods are crispy. Nice, clean atmosphere. I've eaten there many times throughout my life and have never had a bad experience. Free hot tea with your meal. Daily specials that are a great deal. Tonight I had a Sechuan trio (beef chicken shrimp) with fried rice, an egg roll, and egg drop soup for only $10.50. The potions are generous so I always have leftovers. Heads up, if you have picky kids, there aren't many American choices. They do have fries.

Oh well, the major complaint we have here is the service. I don't understand where that attitude came from, lack of attention, impatience, not helpful and even a bit rude. Food is not authentic, very Americanized, and definitely over-priced. I would not recommend to anyone.

I was on vacation in Jackson and was in the mood for some Chinese cuisine. I found this place by chance and ordered their daily special. The meat was of great quality...especially the shrimp. The egg roll was nice and crispy, egg drop soup was nice and hot, and i love the fried rice. The brown sauce could have had more flavor. But if your in the area, in the mood for Chinese, and want a meal that will fill you up, this is the place.

BF really wanted Chinese takeout and decided to order from here. We got fried squid and scallops in garlic sauce. There were a TON of scallops in the dish, but it totally wasn't what I expected. I didn't taste any garlic and there was too much sauce, but the ingredients tasted fresh. The fried squid were just calamari rings, and get this: it came with bacon ranch dipping sauce. This is a Chinese restaurant, right?? I don't know what the BF was thinking, getting Chinese food in WY (for the second time in one day!). We're from California; he should know better!

We ate at this restaurant to my great disappointment. I wanted to eat almost anywhere else but my dad wanted Chinese and we were in an unfamiliar town. The food was mediocre and it was kind of scattered in there. They were putting people in the strangest seat formations. We didn't get anything that was really extraordinary and there was nothing on the menu that wasn't something you could find at any cheap chinese food restaurant

This place has been a long time favorite of mine! The atmosphere is cozy and warm to put it the most genuine way possible. The service is top- quick and just as requested. I personally love the beef and broccoli plate, and order it nearly every time I am there. The crew at this restaurant want you to enjoy your meal, and will do everything they can to help you have an enjoyable meal. Count on great serving sizes at a very reasonable price --- Great value. Did I mention that they serve complimentary hot tea to start you out? Ker-ching, a little added bonus.

I didn't have high expectations as the restaurant we had planned on going to was packed. I love Chinese food, but I guess I'm picky. I've had my share of awful Chinese. Chinatown was awesome! My niece and nephew loved their dishes too. We had the pu pu platter, fried noodle dishes and beef with Chinese vegetables. I was SO pleased to find such an awesome Chinese restaurant this far from a big city.

I would reluctantly give it a 2 if not because it is in Jackson. But, this is Yellowstone, you should feel lucky to have a Chinese restaurant that does not ruin your travels, you won't find a better one in 200 miles radius. Food is OK, fried rice good, I am not excited about anything, except food is acceptable and actually very fairly priced, again remind you for Jackson. The old decor and dark ambiance are mood killers, driving customers away.

This restaurant was just okay. The service was really great. The food was okay, not good not bad. The lighting was really bad. It was dim throughout the restaurant. Their decorations was too overboard. I felt like I was in a temple. Overall, their food was just okay.

Just finished a terrible meal! We ordered two entrees... Beef with vegetables (that one was ok, not great). The other entree was a seafood combo dish - shrimp, scallops, crab and lots of Chinese veggies. The shrimp was fine, the crab looked and tasted like fake crab, but the scallops were unfit for consumption. They had a distinct ammonia flavor. That can happen naturally when seafood spoils or can be an artifact of when some restaurants add substances (i.e., bleach) to seafood to try to prolong shelf-life when the item should be discarded instead. Either way, it's not a good thing. There are plenty of other options in Jackson - we won't be eating here again.

Love this place. Good food. Excellent service. I personally love the old school decor. Classic Chinatown decor. Beautiful ceiling and artwork. Also, it's off the beaten path and low key. Not like the overpriced tourist traps in town. Very friendly staff.

I'd give two stars for the food because I'm forgiving. I can deal with a clumsy batter and goopy sauce on everything just because they tried. However I have to give one star--not for the food--but for the way the owner (I assume, because she was taking the money) made me feel after the meal. As I went to pay the bill, the people in my party told me one of the dishes did not arrive and to have it removed from the bill. I explained this to the woman, and you know what she told me about three times? She told me next time I should let the waiter know something was missing. As if I made a mistake! I didn't even know that dish was ordered. I wasn't even at the table when the waiter took the order. I was washing my hands in the filthy bathroom after getting a greasy feeling on my hand from the front door and pulling out my chair. Having a dish omitted from the order is normal and I have no problem with the waiter. It's the owner. No "sorry about that", no "thank you for coming". Just "you should tell the waiter next time". Lady--there ain't going to BE a next time, and I recommend to you dear readers to avoid the first time.

Great food, Great Price. As someone who cares about this type of thing, I think it is important to let you know that it has the cleanest kitchen in town! Always something to consider when ordering your food.

I love me some Chinatown, but that poor restaurant building is in need of a complete facelift! The food is consistant and what you'd expect and the service is always very quick. You know the servers by name in no time and they'll always have you laughing but the interior looks the same as it did when I was 5. Come on Chinatown fix this place up a bit, I'm sure you can afford it.

The Szechuan chicken was average. The Hunan beef was the worst I have ever had. And the vegetables dishes had too much sauce and little flavor. How do you screw up Hunan beef? If you have someone in your party who is in desperate need of white rice this will fill the need. Otherwise I suggest you hold off on any Chinese food while you are in Jackson Hole.

The best Chinese food in the hole. I always get the war won ton soup.

  • Greg B.

The dumplings were delish, but a little too doughy for me yet still one of the best i have ever had. The dumpling sauce was the most perfect mixture of salty and sweet. The General Tso's chicken was good but a little soggy yet still really delicious. The Pork Fried rice was just out of this world. Even though this was the only Chinese place I have eaten in Jackson hole I can honestly say this is the best Chinese food in Jackson.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
