Stop over in Gillette on our western vacation trip, we did not expect this good Vietnamese restaurant in Wyoming ! We went based on the reviews and we're more than happy with our diner. 3 different pho, 1 fried rice and 1 grilled lemon grass pork with rice noodles. all were fresh and tasty. we took medium size pho as the large one looks like they are serving the whole pot ! Great value for the price, we highly recommend.

My family and I had lunch at pho and bakery 59 and it was a blast. As an Asian family, we never expected authentic Asian food like this in Wyoming. The restaurant had a open kitchen and was very clean. We ordered phos, and they were one of the best we have had in the states. If you are traveling along the I90, I would recommend to stop at pho and bakery for lunch or dinner.

I went to this place first time.but floor is very dirty.i think kitchen too and said bakery but don't see any pastries. Soup flavor was very bland. Vietnamese soup should come with bean sprouts and basil that I know but don't see any. I am sorry to say that is worse Vietnamese pho I ever had.

You let me down Wyoming, you let me down. After having pho in South Dakota and it turned out alright, I thought the same would happen in Wyoming, boy was I wrong. Seeing that Pho and Bakery 59 was 5 stars on yelp, I thought it was a good sign. I wish I had the chance to properly read the reviews before coming but thanks to being in No man's land, I had no service whatsoever. Pho is always a safety rebound meal for me because I assume you can't go wrong with noodle soup, I mean how can you really screw it up right? The broth in the pho tai (#5) looked really oily when it was served. The noodles were all broken up and chopped up. It's as if the noodles were frozen and reheated. They definitely didn't seem fresh. The broth was a bit bland in taste as well. I'm surprised they didn't offer a combination option that includes all the toppings like brisket, meatballs and tripe. I recommend getting the medium size because it was huge when it was served (western portions yo!) The vermicelli noodles #21 were served hot which I found strange, must be a western thing as I've seen this occur in South Dakota. The toppings were decent and the noodles seemed fresher than the pho. It wasn't broken up or anything. But don't expect this dish to be spectacular. What really grinded my gears was the Vietnamese coffee. It is DEFINITELY NOT Vietnamese at all. What makes Vietnamese coffee so special is the drip coffee making which I did not witness. The server poured coffee out of a coffee pot while she made my drink. I did see her put some condensed milk but that's about it. When I drank it, it tasted like any old regular coffee to me. Sure it's 2 bucks (it's usually 3 - 4) but you're not getting the real deal. At the end of the day, I'm not sure how much I can complain since I'm in Wyoming, I mean atleast I didn't get food poisoning right? Extra star for the free wifi, the password is their phone number, you're welcome.

Spending the night in Gilette, my wife did not believe this town could offer good Vietnamese food. I convinced her, based on the solid five star reviews and we were not disappointed. The owners kept the restaurant open even though we showed up a few minutes before closing time. The food was excellent the service even better. We felt right at home.

I couldn't believe how fortunate I was to find Pho in Wyoming. It was incredible and their bakery items are top notch too. Very sweet woman who owns the place. Don't miss out!

It was a pleasant surprise to find this place in Gillette. Simple pho restaurant with very nice staff. Portions were large, brisket was lean, noodles were great, and broth tasty but a bit plain.

Passing through Gillette on the way to Yellowstone. We had dumplings, Bahn mi, eggs rolls, pho, and stir fried noodles. The only think I thought was mediocre was the egg rolls, but I live in an area where we have several restaurants serving Hmong eggs rolls. The Vietnamese iced coffee was awesome, they have a coffee maker for making the coffee. The dumplings were deep fried, I'd ND never had them like this but they were very good. They were dumplings that looked like a crab rangoon. Also, the guy I assume was the owner was very nice. The food came within 7 minutes too, very fast.

I was staying in town for a night, and I found this place on yelp. I was obviously skeptical (pho in Wyoming??), but it was getting late and I had to grab a bite. I ordered a large brisket pho. I ended up being pretty impressed! I'm no pho aficionado or anything, but I've had pho in places with a sizeable Vietnamese population, and I'd say this was certainly up to par. The broth was decent and the noodles were good. The "large" size was good value and contained a pretty generous portion of meat and noodles. I was also impressed by the open kitchen. While the eating area wasn't particularly clean (some paper napkins were lying around), I don't think I've seen a cleaner restaurant kitchen before. It was almost bizarre. This place is a hidden gem, and it's a shame because the small warehouse they're housed in isn't very noticeable or visible from the main road. 9/10

After a long day of travel from St Paul, the last thing I expected to find was high quality Pho in WY but it's here! The shopkeeper was incredibly pleasant and other patrons seemed to be regulars. It's delicious, go! I had the Pho Tai and the regular egg rolls. Found some room for an eclair too!

Talk about bang for your buck! This place is a hidden gem! Only reason I'm sharing this is because I want them to do a lot of business! Otherwise I would keep them to myself. Food is fantastic. Large helpings with whatever you order. And the pastries! Oh, to die for they are. If you've never been, you need to go. If you've been, continue to enjoy.

This is located way in the back, hard to find but very good. Very fresh food. Recommend they buy a sign to put near the street.

Wonderful food! The Pho was so delicious. This is definitely a hidden gem to search out in Wyoming. What makes this resteraunt even more memorable is the owner, she is truly a sweet spirit that puts her heart and soul into her food and baked goods.

Fantastic Vietnamese food and baked goods. My family ate at the restaurant and had stir fry, soup and another dish which I can't recall (#22 possibly). Large portions and all under $10. It arrived hot and fast. Veggies were very fresh, meat was tender. It was all delicious. Great service, owner was very friendly and funny. Clean. We also brought home some caramel rolls and eclairs. Very good!! We will definitely be back. They offer carry out too.

Okay so I'm in Gillette for a week for work. I love Vietnamese food, it's my favorite. I decided to try the only place in town and it's great. I ordered the vermichli with egg rolls and meat and shrimp. Everything was delicious. Totally worth trying. I may have to come back tomorrow.

Good, clean, family environment. The food was really good, I tried the pho, and the noodle dish. Both were outstanding and for a very good price. Also, the owners are both really nice, they even gave me free cinnamon rolls when I left. Definitely recommend

I'm a Gillette transplant. I was born and raised in NY and only moved out here about 5yrs ago. I went thru ethnic food withdrawal! Mexican food doesn't cut it lol. I'll cut to the chase: this place is DIVINE. Their Pho is fantastic; hot, filling comfort food served with homegrown sweet basil, lime and jalapeño slices. Plus huge portions to stick with you at a great price. Just the thing to warm your soul on cold WY days. Their French pastries? Well for Gillette natives I'll tell you: that's REAL French baking going on. Not super heavy on sugar like most American style bakeries, but just right. Their pastries are certified delicacies with hand whipped creme, delicate puff pastry from scratch and only the juiciest of fruit. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is amazingly fast! Faster then a trip to the drive-thru lol They also serve some Vietnamese beverages that are a "must try" like their coffee (Starbucks lovers will never want another Venti lol). I gave 5 stars bc I can find NO fault with this establishment. I hope they stay for a LONG time!
