What a treat, miles from cell phone service You can still have fun. Great bar and excellent food. The soup and salad bar was included with our meal and even though small it was very good. We had tomato soup and it was excellent

Great location. Very dated rooms. Wont stay here again. Didn't look clean. Restaurant was ok but not a place i would generally recommend. Perhaps one of the best on the area but McDonalds would have been nicer. Sorry...

Bear lodge is located near the summit of the Bear Tooth Mountains in a gorgeous setting!! In the summer you can enjoy the beautiful wildflowers, wild animals and hiking trails! The bar is very good, the food delicious. We both had the spaghetti which comes with the soup & salad bar and garlic toast !

I have spent many times dining and enjoying the events that Bear Lodge has to offer. The good and service has always been great! Not to mention the beautiful area that they are located in.

I had my wedding reception here in August of 2007. The wedding planner, if you can call it that was hard to get a hold of and there was very little communication. Not something that puts a bride at ease. We ordered the sit down dinner for 65, with a choice of Roast Beef or Chicken. The portion sizes were excellent, but the food was bland. This is on top of the Big Horn Mountains. They have a restaurant, bar, hotel, and recreation rentals. The restaurant where most of my guests ate for breakfast was okay. The food was good, but the service was beyond horrifying. My husbands best man ordered toast to the side of his pancakes... the pancakes came, but no toast. We never saw our server again until we were finished. At this point he brought the toast and we all started laughing. We were delivered the wrong breakfasts and no silverware. It's pretty bad when I have to get up to take back our own plates for the right meal. Disappointing, but good hashbrowns if that's any consolation. The rooms are rustic and the mattresses beyond uncomfortable. If you're going for a resort style vacation reserve this place only for rustic camping adventures.
