This was probably the best Chinese food you could find in Cody!! When my family and I entered the restaurant, there was the choice of either the buffet or menu à la carte. The buffet didn't look that interesting, there were a few selections. For food, we went for the steamed dumplings. Excellent!! For our mains, we shared the Mongolian beef, cashew chicken, and Kung Pao Chicken. Everything was excellent, however the Mongolian beef was too salty. Since my brother and I were still hungry, we ordered bowls of the wonton soup and egg flower soup. The soups were excellent, but the soups were colored funny. We joked that there was some kind of "Chemistry" going on in the kitchen. Overall, I thought this restaurant was excellent, and you should definitely give this restaurant a try!! 谢谢!

For a Chinese buffet out in the middle of the great West, it's adequate. It doesn't compare well to the Chinese buffet places I've visited along the east coast but it wouldn't be a fair comparison. I liked the pork dumplings but the dishes involving beef could be better. The service was good and the place was relatively clean.

Where the food lacks quality, the service made up for it; where the interior lacks appeal (and cleanliness - the uncarpeted floor leading to the bathroom is super sticky!), the exterior landscaping made up for it. The food is not worth mentioning, even my aunt who's not a good cook can make what's offered here (the rice is horrible, it's in between well done rice and porridge!) But the service is incredible! You're immediately greeted warmly when you step food in the establishment. They encourage you to check out the buffet but would also let you order if you're not feeling all-you-can-eat. That's what we did! Just one person enjoyed the buffet while us two ladies split a light dish. Only paper menu is given, I guess their main focus is the buffet. We're checked on multiple times throughout our meal which shows their care. You won't miss this restaurant if strolling on Main St. in Cody. The signs, flowers, and external painting are all very inviting!

They really push the buffet here when they have a menu. The place is ok clean. It's a tired place. The tables had that tacky feel to them like they could use a good ammonia scrub down. The buffet is replenished, and we found it to be just ok. The desert bar was awful not that we eat a lot of it. I wouldn't take anything off it. The worst part is my husband ended up very itchy after eating there. He had to head to get Benadryl after dinner. I stuck with soup and egg rolls pretty much so no effect on me. I suspect MSG. Lots of folks there but we won't return. Average Americanized Chinese food.

We visit here from Yellowstone park and we couldn't find any good restaurants. But this one really surprises us with good taste and fair price. Plus manager is super nice to every customer. 5 stars for sure!!!

Friendly service, good kimchi and pickled radish in the land of BBQ. Nuff said. Plenty of food options to keep everyone in the family happy from the picky kid to the vegetarians. Prices are very reasonable as well.

I thought the food was average at best. They did have a wide selection but for $12.99 per person I expected better.

Just came here cuz of our tour but it was well worth it. Coming from los angeles there are tons of buffets but i gotta admit, the food, the service and the cleanliness was great. Not to mention the price for the buffet (13 bucks a pop) was cheap as hell so definitely go here if youre in cody and want chinese food

The staff was friendly but the food overall was disappointing. The hot n sour soup was like none other I've ever tasted, not meant to be a compliment and stay away from the Cumin Chicken. Tried as much of the buffet as possible trying to find something that was great, best thing was the green bean pork. Just mediocre at best all around except for the service. Great people working there.

The lo mein noodles were spaghetti noodles, the egg drop soup tasted tart and weird, the chicken with breading was soggy, and the food had very little flavor. I would not recommend this restaurant!

The lady at our motel highly recommended this place, but we were not impressed. The salad bar had plain lettuce plus an assortment of dessert options and a cooked broccoli and carrot thing that was cold and nasty. There were two rows of food selections, mostly chicken and pork and some of them were fairly good. That was the best part of the buffet. We were told that a highlight was the ice cream machine, but the ice cream was not much more than frozen milk with flavoring. When we left, we went straight to DQ for dessert. This has become the running joke of our trip. Thankfully the price was reasonable.

I've eaten here with my family twice. They have a great number of selections compared to other Chinese buffets I've visited. Granted it is mostly chicken dishes, but there are still delicious variations among them. There are also a few non-Chinese-American dishes like bbq pork and fried potatoes. It's a typical Chinese buffet and if you don't know how to give three stars instead of one when you clearly gave a three star review then you shouldn't be reviewing. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Our last waiter even displayed his knowledge of Spanish. The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely with pleasing local photography. It's always nice when a business supports their locals!

Food was okay, mostly only chicken and pork dishes. Not anything to write home about. It was a bit salty, and the buffet selection isnt very large, 39 to be exact 40 if u include icecream. Service was fine, but the bill came too early. Theyre very friendly to chinese people. Basically your generic chinese buffet but with unexpectedly cleaner dishes and silverware.

My family has been on the road for several days and missing Home meals so we stopped in for some taste of Asian. The food is your typical Chinese buffet style with little selection to choose from. Nothing to rave about and the service is ok. Fixed our Asian meal craving for the time being.

We love to go here for the lunch buffet. Excellent variety, extremely friendly staff and great prices. We also like their Powell, WY location, and the Cody location has proved to live up to the same standards,

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
