A good bar in the hotel. We had drinks and the charcuterie plate. The place was clean and updated - not like the older cowboy motif the rest of the restaurants in Cody have.

I have had many meals here and it's always good. I don't feel like it compares to the upscale restaurants in Colorado, but it's Cody! They do a great job working with what they have :) The salads & soups here are what I think are "do not miss" items. I had a steak last night with huckleberry sauce and while it was decent, it was nothing I will crave. But the salads... GREAT selection!! In my opinion, the lunch menu is actually better than the dinner menu. Portions are not huge, so it's a great place to have a light lunch. Also, one of the best happy hours I have ever see! 2 for 1 on all their wines. Sign me up!

I have had several meals at the 8th Street Restaurant. The food and service was very good on all occasions. It's pretty new, and they are still working out the kinks, but I like it, and I think they fill a niche in Cody that is long overdue.

Tried it out, totally unimpressed. Overpriced, small portion, and didn't taste good at all. Decor was very nice but having every single light in the place on made it uncomfortable. Ambience; they need to have some. Too bad, could be a great place but the food, prices and poor atmosphere make it one I won't revisit.

Perhaps I am jaded as I live in a major city with high culinary expectations but this place was a pure disappointment, given the prices they charge it would not last a week anywhere else. I ordered the lamb chops. The Lamb cuts themselves were poor quality, overly marbled with poor quality meat. Suggest you speak to your vendor and consider paying more for better quality cuts. That was quite possibly the worst Lamb Chop I have seen served at a restaurant anywhere I have been around the world. Besides the cut of the meat being poor, the garnishments were poorly thought out, and of poor quality. I thought I would give desert a try, so I ordered an Apple Tart. This was clearly a pre-packaged desert that was NOT made in house. Worse yet, the vendor of this packaged frozen desert probably meant for it to be served warm-hot. Mine was served just barely thawed out. You can't make this stuff up! Product and ingredient quality are the name of the game, and they are losing that game. Consider upping your game with fresh ingredients, items cooked to order in house. Show a little pride in your food and people will recognize it, serve us frozen or cheap quality crap on a plate and charge $25 and you're doomed.

The only good thing about this restaurant was the homemade bread the fresh salad and the seafood chowder soup. The service stinks, in fact I believe we were discriminated. The server completely ignored us except to quickly get our order and to deliver our order, as far as making sure we had enough water she would walk by from a distance instead of ask us or interact with us more then she had too. The salad was fresh and seemed like it was freshly picked and the soup was flavored just right. The homemade bread was really good. Unfortunately that is were the flavor ended, we both go the NY Strip because their menu is very limited, if you don't like variety then you are sure to have an amazing time at this place but if you want variety then you may want to check around town because there are more choices that I'm sad to say we didn't take advantage of. The steak was average, maybe something they grabbed out of the freezer section at the local store and the corn wasn't very special. Just be weary if you choose this restaurant, you will have an average meal and possibly be ignored through the entirety of your meal.

I've had VERY good soup here and VERY good burgers. But their specials are usually not the best. Hit or miss place in Cody...

Closed at 9 on a Friday night? Not very attentive to weary guest at a hotel. You can't even get chips and salsa or potato skins at the bar. We got in at 9:10 and we were very arupbtly told "KITCHEN IS CLOSED". Really the bartender should be able to make something simple for guests. Especailly ona weekend.

GREAT RESTAURANT - BUT POOR BAR SERVICE We stayed at the Ivy and decided to have dinner there, too. Based upon earlier reviews, it sounded as if the service and food had improved since they first opened. We give it a stamp of approval! The food was terrific, as was our server. I had a pork tenderloin in a brandy sauce with yellow rice and carrots and everything was delicious - and I got two full meals out of it - the tenderloin portion was huge. As was my husbands NY steak. He had the special, which had a Merlot-chocolate glaze. A bit too much chocolate for his liking, but he enjoyed it nonetheless - and got two meals out of it as well. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and were treated to a free dessert. The only food item not up to par was the special strawberry cake - it was EXTREMELY dry, like it had been sitting out for days. But my husband's cheesecake was terrific. Our server was very sweet and accommodating. We had a drink at the bar before dinner and that was a very disappointing experience. The young man bartending made no attempt to converse or engage us. He didn't understand what I meant by an "extra dirty" martini - and then forgot my water. My husband went to the bar earlier than I did, and was ready for a second drink, but never got the opportunity to order one. Not sure where the bartender disappeared to, as it wasn't busy in the bar. The drinks were good, but pricey - $20 for a martini and a double on the rocks. We had breakfast the next morning and again had a very sweet and efficient waitress and the food was good.I had the spinach/goat cheese quiche with fresh fruit and it was good, as was my husband's eggs benedict. That's his favorite so he orders it often. Said it was good (muffin was toasted, lots of very good hollandaise sauce) but the eggs were slightly overcooked. Good coffee. We'll definitely eat there again when in Cody. It's nice to have a more upscale restaurant available that isn't completely decked out in antlers and western paraphernalia :)

As far as restaurants in Wyoming go, this one was one of the best. Very well prepared; and it was appealing to both the eye and the palate. I will be frequenting this restaurant.

Wonderful food and great wine list. Beautiful atmosphere with outside dining. Best restaurant in Cody!! Everything I've tried on the menu has been fabulous.

I've had very good experiences here. It is overpriced for food in Cody but it is quite good. I've had most of their menu and it all consistently good. Nice decor and friendly staff.

Had the steak bites and pita as prominently displayed on their website...it was pita bread and a few pieces of steak on a plate. Looked like my 5 year old plated it. The fries were soggy and my Cuban pannini wasn't awful, it just want very good either. Food wasn't hot, either. I'm staying at this gorgeous hotel and am very disappointed in the dining option. Back to the bbq place for me.
