I really enjoy the staff! I think this is a treasure in Cheyenne. The food is a good TexMex style and I have had several dishes with no complaints. The drinks are outstanding and the price good. I really enjoy the pure gold margaritas, best price is at lunch time. My wife and I eat here a couple times a month and have not been disappointed.

Food is decent, but management leaves something to be desired. I came during lunch time and there was one waiter and one kitchen person. Yes, shit happens and the staff has to roll with the punches but you would think that there would have been more people scheduled. If there were call ins I would think it would fall to the owner to cover the slack. I saw no such thing. One waiter trying to serve a whole restaurant the entire time is neither fair to him nor the patrons. If the owners care so little about their restaurant then I obviously shouldn't care either.

So far this is the best Mexican food we found in Cheyenne! Prices are higher, as most restaurants are hiking up prices due to inflation, but they give huge portions, and food is decent and we enjoy going there to eat. The staff is very nice and we always feel welcome!

Best Mexican food in Cheyenne that I've found. Amazing salsa too (I asked for a bucket to take home and they thought I was joking!) Burritos are the size of a small house and margaritas are wonderful. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for the real thing.

Scary to try a Mexican food restaurant without checking reviews first, but we did! We weren't disappointed- food, service & atmosphere was what we were hoping for tonight.

I've been here a couple times now. Food has been really good both times. Typical menu, but my mom had the spinach enchiladas which we haven't seen before. She said she really enjoyed it. The deluxe burritos are awesome. Also, I like the bean dip that comes out with the chips and salsa. This is good Mexican food for Cheyenne. You can't compare it to California or Texas.

Tasteless rice, beans. Soggy enchiladas and tacos. Margarita curled my toes, not in a good way

Great Mexican restaurant. We love the cheese dip and the bacon wrapped shrimp. Service is always good!

People in cheyenne will usually prefer tortilla factory, because they don't understand mexican food. If you are from the midwest, you may not have the palette for this place. I however, being from south texas, really enjoy this place. I like their arroz con pollo, and think they do a good job at bringing the tex mex style up to cheyenne.

Everything we had, chicken burrito ranchero, shrimp fajitas, chicken enchilada ranchero, AND the Cadillac Margarita. Excellent evening following a 15 hour drive from Chicago. We would highly recommend this restaurant to any and all hungry people.

The food is a bit Americanized, but I think this is one of the better places in Cheyenne. My mole experience could have been missed, and I wouldn't order it again at Guadalajara, but I do recommend a visit to this place. I like the servers and the hospitality. The food is reasonable, but could be a bit better. Prices are excellent.

The food here was not bad but not stellar. The chile rellenos tasted really funky. They tasted like dirt or maybe mold. Very organic. Someone said they always taste like that. Blech!

Stopped in here for lunch on our Cheyenne visit; not bad, not great. My burrito was chock full of chicken and son's mole was good. Not a bad choice if you want Mexican near the mall.

I'm a fan of authentic Mexican food (from Mexico), and I found the food to be a bit bland. I'm not sure they used the freshest ingredients, but overall, the food was good. The service was very good.

This Mexican restaurant was to be as expected. I'd imagine most things come out of a can & have a lot of lard in it. It wasn't the worst place I've ever eaten.

Stopped in last night since we were in the area shopping. I wish we would have went elsewhere... I had the beef enchiladas and my wife ordered the camarones a la diabla (shrimp with sauteed mushrooms in a spicy red sauce). Both meals were accompanied by the usual rice and beans. Service was friendly and fast, but the food left a little to be desired. I did like the spicy red sauce from my wifes dish though. Other than that it tasted much too bland and non authentic.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
