Delicious, GIANT breakfasts for a great price! Service is fast and friendly. Overall a fun experience, especially if you're visiting from out of town. This is a place that you'd expect to see on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. I got a sampler with a little bit of everything. Note that you can get one smaller than the options on the menu (which are huge), just ask your server. Whatever you order, it absolutely must include the homemade sausage links which are incredible and the highlight of the meal!

Feels like Diners, drive-ins, and dives...emphasis on the dives... Americana for sure. I feel like eventually this place should be on Restaurant Impossible. Severely outdated, decorated with dust collectors and staffed by nice ladies that are so obviously overworked... The food was ok. Bacon was crispy and salty, best I've had in a while. The eggs were ok, scrambled, and the pancakes were seemingly real but became doughy when the hfc syrup was added. Reason for two stars? As an avid fan of Kitchen Nightmares and Restaurant Impossible, I go into restaurants with an extremely critical eye. No real butter is served here, despite the fact it's cheaper to just make your own. The waitresses wiped things with rags used on counters (cups, syrup bottles), attacked plates with food being touched from the top plate, ice scoop in a bin of ice tossed back into it after use, bathrooms horribly gross. The menus are...well hilarious and printed in 8pt font with 70s graphics from top to bottom. If this place is making money, it's not being reinvested into keeping the business going/up to date. I came here based on reviews, but I see I've fallen for local love... It was good to have food, but places like Denny's are going to eventually win with consistent food and up to date decorum.

Your typical American diner on the inside. The food is really good, especially the hashbrowns and bacon! Definitely get the hashbrowns and bacon.

This place was a HOOT! I wanted a real place to eat in Cheyenne, not some touristy destination. And that's definitely what we got here. Located right next to a mobile home area, and off one of the main roads leading to downtown was this Diamond. I marveled at the décor when we walked in and sat wherever we wanted. The menu was vast, we were hung over and looking for something that served breakfast all day, and Diamond sure does. Our server was friendly, and most the people dining here were locals and much older than us (like 70s and 80s). We definitely looked like out-of-towners. Totally downhome diner like style. Our food was good, my only problem was that I ordered the veggie breakfast burrito (menu does not note any meat) and I totally found some mystery meat in my burrito. This was not until the end of my meal, and I didn't get sick on my cousin's wedding day so that's a plus. I did assume that this would happen at some point to me in a town that isn't used to nonmeat eaters. If you want a real Wyoming local experience, this is the place for you.

It was all good, had the sausage and the chorizo buffalo breakfast burrito. Good stuff!

My husband and I tried this place for the first time today. The gal behind the counter was friendly and the food was good. I ordered breakfast and my husband ordered breakfast plus enchiladas as well. Everything came out great..only complaint...at 2pm in the afternoon they had 1/2 the inside of the restaurant roped off. So you had to either sit at the counter or in one of the booth seats next to everybody else. Would have been nice to have sat by the window. Also, I thought for what we ordered it was a little pricey. Other than that...good place to grab a quick bite to eat.

The place has character. You will find the locals there. I had the veggie breakfast burrito and added ground buffalo to it. It was quite big and the hash brown portion was huge as well. Simple taste. I like the local down home mom and pop feel and almost grumpy but friendly, nice waitresses.

I was torn between 2 and 3 stars. The food was pretty good and I liked the place but the coffee was literally undrinkable. Sure coffee is only one component but a very important one. They had nice clean shitters which I certainly appreciate.

I love this place. Decor is kitschy yet charming. I was passing through on the way to California, just in need of a bite and some friendly conversation. I got the garlic mushroom Swiss burger; it was delicious. Perfect diner burger. Service was friendly and prompt. Since I was travelling alone I really needed a pitstop like this one. If you are in need of a casual breakfast or lunch, this is your jam!

A true roadhouse diner. Clearly a breakfast and lunch hangout for locals and regulars, so much so that they hang their own personalized coffee mugs on the wall. As a visitor coming in, one feels a temporary part of this little community as you can hear multiple or even multi-table conversations about local goings-on. The staff is warm and friendly, clearly a family run business with mom and young daughter working out front. There's maybe 15 tables plus a small counter. Great food, from our week surveying breakfast spots it was in our opinion the best chorizo and hash browns in town. They have a daily special "gravy" dish. The day we were there it was creamed chipped beef. It was just like I remembered as a kid in the midwest. I had it on top of biscuits with hash browns and it was perfectly executed with just the right balance of beef to gravy. I also had a side of scrambled eggs with the signature homemade green chili on top. The green chili was good, but not as goos as some other places in town. The queen had the chorizo and eggs omelette and we both agreed it was the best chorizo in town, hands down. Service was very prompt and your coffee mug never gets cold or anywhere close to empty. I'll definitely visit again on my next Cheyenne trip!

Good fast place for lunch or carry-out. I usually get a breakfast burrito or cheeseburger and fries. Decent prices and some good comfort-food.

Made a visit to Cheyenne while around Denver and found this restaurant on Yelp. SO glad we visited! Omelette, hash browns, pancakes, eggs and bacon were all delicious in our 2 orders. Portion sizes are plenty for the $6-8 or so for a breakfast. Bathrooms are pretty dingy but, that's no reason to miss out on the excellent food at DHC. Highly recommended!!

We are doing a "Cheyenne breakfast spot" tour, this is by far the best spot we've been to. 2 of us are vegetarians and find that most vegetarian options are bland, but the breakfast skillet was awesome. The meat eaters say the gravy was phenomenal, especially on the breakfast burrito instead of green chili. Super friendly service too. We have found our breakfast spot!

Very nice place inside (don't trust the way the building looks from the outside). Good food and great service. We had a mushroom-potato-cheese skillet and a veggie omelette with hash browns. I'm giving 3 stars because in try not to think that it's in Cheyenne. This is a good, solid place for breakfast all day.

Typical local greasy spoon. Thought I'd jazz up my order by ordering home fries. Total fail!!...out came burnt fried slivers of potato. As with most places in Cheyenne, save your $$$ and commit to the drive to FoCo for better fare. Friendly servers a plus.

We found this place based on yelp reviews ... It was good, fantastic onion rings And my sons pork chop special was huge. The wait staff was so friendly and even though it was 40 minutes to closing she made us a fresh pot of coffee

Excellent local joint with basic breakfast food, not too expensive either. Coffee is hot, waitresses are nice, and the huge cinnamon rolls are pretty yummy. Plus, you could show up in your PJs or work clothes off a construction site and no one would bat an eye ( + stars in my opinion, maybe not in others') The decor is pretty awesome...you'll have to go there and see for yourself! :)

Overpriced. Crowded space. Generic cooking at best. Meh. I can't say I would go back to this place.

As good as it gets if you are looking for great food at an authentic '50's style diner at a good price. I have only eaten breakfast here, but they are open for lunch as well. Service is prompt, efficient and knowledgable if not always "bubbly". The breakfast ham was delicious, not too salty and very well prepared. They also have breakfast burritos and skillets you "build" with your own ingredients. If you like the new/old diner wannabe's you will absolutely love Diamond Horseshoe.

Great breakfast burrito in cute diner. Cinnamon rolls the size of a plate looked delicious. Pricing low for quality and quantity of food

Great little dive. It seems most the patrons are regulars. The food is good, and the price is great. It'll stay on my list of places to visit when in Cheyenne.

I take my Family here every Sunday. less then 30 bucks and I eat so much i almost have to throw up! Coffee is burnt, the place is crowded on Sundays, The waitresses are over run, but its the best breakfast experience in town!
