I'm cutting them a little slack since they apparently had someone's car go through their lobby. Selection seemed a little limited but what they had was good. Not great, but good. Servers were on top of things and friendly. I'd be willing to try again when repairs are done and they're 100% again.

We were quickly greeted then shown to our table. Waitrr came right over to take our drink order. We proceeded to the buffet which had an array of choices. From traditional Chinese cuisine,a few American dishes, also self serve ice cream from buckets in a little freezer. My favorite dishes here are pineapple chicken ,vegetable rice and cheese won tons. I enjoy coming here for the unique choices and service.

So gross!!! So. Gross. This place gave me the willies just walking in. Everything was heavily sauced and had either too much salt or not enough. Soggy, freezer burned crab legs. They may advertise sushi, but all I found were some poorly made fake seafood rolls or cooked shrimp on some rice. Inedible. Worst buffet I've ever been to. My family also had bad tummy troubles for the whole next day. Just don't.

Good variety, most of the food was quite tasty, especially the salmon, the pineapple chicken, the sesame chicken, and sautéed mushrooms. Stay away from the spinach cheese, though. They also have real ice cream! Service was very good.

Why is the food here so bland? I've gone to this place twice, once on the weekend during lunch and another time on the weekday between lunch and dinner. Both times it was the exact same thing: bland, bland, bland. I've eaten at Chinese buffets all over the US (South Dakota, Mississippi, Texas, Florida) and this is by far the most boring Chinese food I've ever experienced. That being said, the staff is friendly, everything is clean, and they have a wide variety of dishes. So if you like bland Chinese-American dishes, this is definitely the place for you. Otherwise, don't bother.

Out of all the chinese buffets I've eaten at this was one of the best. Pretty standard but good food at a good price.

Im tired of getting Chinese food without any cat or dog meat. I want authentic food.

Nastiest buffet I've had. Food tastes how it looks. Dry, bland, and been sitting out for awhile

The best price for some really decent Chinese food. (Keep in mind that this is Cheyenne and choices aren't abundant.) For the food, this is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in town. The service is mediocre, but that seems to be the norm anyplace here. If anyone asks where I want to go for lunch or dinner, China Buffet is nearly always my choice.

Cons: What Noah says about the customers is true, you will be among the military, retirees, infirm, and blue color crowd. The sesamee chicken is good but nothing special. Pros: The number of dishes offered is by far the greatest I've seen, by a factor 3. I believe there are about 60 items offered. All the usual Chinese dishes plus baked salmon, whitefish, thin blackened pork chops, and pineapple chicken. Plus they offer an assortment of non-Chinese dishes from baked potato skins, chicken wings, pudding, to four flavors of ice cream and toppings. I find the seasoning appealing, sometimes delicate, not strong. Some spicing is original (at least to me)--e.g., peppered shrimp and blackened chicken. For me, this is the best tasting Chinese food I've found anywhere, but I haven't been to Asia. The price is quite low, $7 for lunch $8 for dinner. Service is fine. It is a shocking find in the windy culinary desert of Cheyenne.

this was my 85 year old grandpa's pick and he put somewhere around 1/3 of the bottle of soy sauce on his meal (not exaggerating) so that tells you a bit about the flavor profiles. I mean, it's a buffet and it is super cheap and if they were open at 3am and served drunks it would be perfect. if you want flavor this isn't the place for you. The "spicy" sesame chicken was mostly tempura batter and not a lot of chicken and despite having lots of little red flakes, there was NO chili taste. They offer sushi, but I think you need to be Andrew Zimmerman to try it. Grandpa loves it, I'll pass.

My family and I went here a while back during the noon hour. The service was OK, but nothing to write home to mother about. I must first brag about the Wonton Soup. This is the main thing that made our visit here worthwhile. The Wonton Soup had amazing flavor, and was some of the best I've ever had. That being said, the rest of the buffet had a decent selection but was rather bland in flavor. As I looked around at the lunch crowd, I would say about 80% of them were the "blue-hair" society. I'm sure that's why some of the food was bland, to cater to the older generation. I also have to comment on their "Garlic Seafood" and "Home BBQ Chicken." Both of those also had really good flavor and are worth trying. China Buffet is a good value for the price, and its exactly what it says it is, a Chinese Buffet.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
