My new favorite place in Wyoming. This isn't just the best place in the area, this is a place going out of your way for. The staff and atmosphere will make your visit pleasant no matter what you order and the pizza will keep you coming back for more. I had the Mexican Pizza with green chili and beef. It was amazing. Everything on it was crisp and fresh and tasty down to the crust itself. I got there around 7pm on Saturday and unfortunately the baby back ribs were sold out by that time so if that's what you have your eyes on, best get there a bit early.

We stopped here on Sep. 5th 2015. We had a pretzel and a pizza. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was awesome! The look could use some updating but don't let it scare you away. This place is worth a stop. In the warmer months they have an outdoor area so you can enjoy the fresh air. We will be back! I would suggest anyone to at least check the place out =)

Once again the pizza was amazing! The Buick you can't go wrong. Built a chicken, bacon, jalapeño, polar bear yummy! Not that the Bear Tree can control it but the weather was beautiful too!

We stopped here to get out of the blizzard when we were out cutting down Christmas trees, and we'll be coming back for sure. The restaurant is tiny and they heat it with a wood stove. It's like eating at your grandma's cabin or something. (Unless you don't like your grandma, or she's too poor to own a cabin) We had quite a few kids in our group, and the staff was great with them. Our waitress even took one of the little girls with her to clean tables. We all got burgers or pizza, and everyone was happy with their meal. Big 1/3 pound patties, and you can tell the pizza is all scratch made. They don't have fountain drinks, so if you order soda they'll bring you the can and a cup of ice. Admittedly, the food is probably 3.5-4 stars, but friendly staff and the atmosphere bump this up to 5 stars for me.

I would go 4.5 stars but not able to go 1/2 stars. Cafe in the front is nice but don't miss the western bar atmosphere in the back. Others have described the place well. Microbrews from Laramie and Ft. Collins, Co. Varies from time to time. Sometimes have live bands on the weekends, I've never gone though. There's also a couple of T V's for major sporting events. I really enjoy the grassy patio area outside. Take your well-behaved pet with you in a shady, comfortable setting while you enjoy the rest of everything they offer. Self serve outside. Cost $ 22 for 12" everything pizza with a mixed drink and a couple of sodas.

Best place to eat in Centennial. The soft taco is the best and the weekend specials of baby back ribs and the prime rib is hard to beat. Home made pie is the topper for a great meal. The pizza is great toe eat there or take away.

Such a great place to chomp some grub after a day in the mountains. This place rocks. Its got just as much character as the locals. You'll often find bands and gigs on the weekend nights. While the music might not always been great, the atmosphere always is. This place is one of those establishments that should be on TV, and I'm dead serious. This place is what small-mountian-town Wyoming is all about. Rough, tough, full of character, and a place you just cannot miss if you are EVER in Centennial Wyoming. Seriously, don't miss it.

OH Jeez! The food. The beverages. The atmosphere. Breakfast. Lunch. and most definitely Dinner. This. is. the. place! And make sure to go on the roof and check it nice!

Wow. What a pleasant surprise. We were headed into the snowy range and stopped for a late lunch. Ended up renting a room next door and closed the place down :-) They had a fantastic band from Austin with a pedal steel guitar, cold beer on tap and really good food. What more can you ask for??

Man I want to love this place!! I'm hoping that as I write this review I will decide to up it from two stars to three. It has character, cool outdoor and rooftop patios, live music on Sundays, and the food is pretty good. Warm and inviting bar room interior with lots of fun stuff on the walls. I see this as a place where travelers and locals mingle and chat it up over a couple hot toddies in the winter or cold brews in the summer. I came here twice in one weekend, the second time to watch the World Cup final before heading up into the mountains for some flyfishing. Now I understand that it's not a sports bar, but to have a massive 60"+ TV in the corner of the room that cannot produce any audio? That's just asinine. Luckily there is one more TV tucked in a high corner behind the bar, and while the image was rather unclear, it did make sound. Problem solved right? Not exactly. Even though 90% of the roughly 20 patrons in the bar were there to watch the game, it took relentless pleading from a REGULAR LOCAL, backed by us non-regulars, to eventually convince the bartender to give us some volume on this game that happens once every four years. I'll try to keep the rest short. It took at least fifteen minutes and two to three polite requests before I got a menu, a water, and my first bloody Mary (while sitting at the bar just a few feet away from the POS station). This trend continued for the rest of our stay, with multiple requests required for each of the two beers I enjoyed over the next two hours, and also to order two pizzas. As for the pizza - we got a pep and a Mexican pizza with the tasty green chili sauce. Pretty decent, but the bartender flat out refused to hold the olives on the Mexican pizza. That was mind boggling. "No, we cannot give you fewer ingredients for the same price to ensure that you, the customer, has a more enjoyable dining experience." What?! But hey, if I wanted I could build the pizza myself, add every ingredient except the olives, and pay 50% more. Sweet, thanks. To top it all off, the pizza took one hour and fifteen minutes to come out, which we patiently endured while salivating over other pizza orders that were flowing out of the kitchen to people that weren't even present when we placed our order. I would like to blame it on a mad rush of people or a packed house for the game, but capacity was at about 30% max in the bar area and outside combined. I wouldn't even mind blaming it on the fact that we aren't local. Yeah, I get it, I'm an out-of-towner. But we actually split the pizza order with the local regular guy that lives down the street. All in all, a real head-scratcher. Mad props to the people at the bar that day that watched the world cup diligently in relative silence, aside from the tinny speakers in the far removed bar TV. I know that deep down this is a truly great establishment, especially if you BYOB, BYOP, and BYOS. Great enough, I guess, for three stars (rounded up from 2.6).

I've eaten there four times this month. We sometimes as many as fourteen people. Several come from large cities and they would rather eat here. Everything is great. We love the pizza, but everyone's favorite is the chicken fried steak. The atmosphere is great. Occasionally they have band playing outside. Adults, kids, and pets gather 'round. It's beautifully Wyoming Cowboy

Awesome food (had BLT and Rueben). Portion sizes were great and the service was exceptional. They also had Blue Moon on tap which was a nice surprise. We will definitely be coming back.

Very impressed with this spot in the small town of 800 folks Centennial, WY. Was hankering for a real meal after skiing all day and subsisting on primarily meh ski area food. Ordered the spicy meatballs and sausage with penne pasta. It had a great kick and was an awesome portion. My waiter was very cool and kolsh style beer on tap was hitting the spot. Probably would not have checked it out if not for a few locals who suggested it. Surprising food and a cool atmosphere.

This place has good pizza, great homemade desserts, and some good soups and other interesting menu options. A laid back bar/restaurant with what struck me as somewhat of a hippie/granola feel. A good place to stop and have some drinks or food when returning from a day hiking, skiing, or snowboarding in the beautiful Snowy Range .. Afterwards take a walk and check out the rest of the little historic village of Centennial... Prices are reasonable .. A friendly little place.. Check it out!

We found this place along a road trip as we needed body fuel as we were hungry, the parking area looked packed so we decided to stop and have some grub from this place. I could tell by walking in that this was a small town cafe. We ordered and got our food a while later. The food was decent but it wasn't anything we would write our friends to come out to try. However I did want to try there pie as they make homemade pies, thats rare in house.

Having grown up in Laramie, we make it back every summer. We've made it a point every season that we take one night of our week at the cabin ( near Towner Lake Rd.) and go to 'town' for some of the best pizza around. Ok, so maybe it's the only pizza around, but it's still darn good pizza. Great home baked desserts too, I love apple pie! Prices are great - we could feed the family of 7 for under $70. Nice. Sometimes it's so busy that we have to split up and sit at separate tables but that's fine. The biggest table (corner booth) seats 7 okay, but we've had 9 before) Next year I'll take pictures and upload them (which will have to wait until we're back in Laramie because cell phone access is sketchy up there!)

Nice place to go while in Centennial and on your way up to or back from Snowy Range or Laramie. This place used to have good food in it's previous incarnation but was very small. Now has been expanded considerably under the current ownership it is currently under and the food is still great! Nice bar and lots of room to stretch out and wave your arms. I had the bread pudding with lemon sauce while visiting a friend and nursing a hangover from the night before so no drinks for me this time. If I was more hungry I know I would have gotten a meal but I did not this time. Staff very friendly and courteous.

Perfect eastern Wyoming cafe with an excellent mix of cuisine, including some gourmet specials on a regular basis. Order the green chili pizza; highly recommended! The Bear Tree is worth the drive out to Centennial!

The Beartree is awesome! The soups are homemade and delicious, I would highly recommend the gazpacho. The salsa is also homemade and delicious. Now the pizzas are amazing, they make their own dough and marinara and you can taste the difference. The bar is very laid back and an excellent place to escape to. Take a trip and check out the Beartree.

Love the atmosphere at this place! Although we've camped and skiied in the Snowys for many years, we only started going checking out the restaurants and bars in Centennial over the last 5 years or so-I regret not having started sooner! This place is probably our favorite. Every meal I've had here has been very good--good burgers (no fries though-tater tots are the closest they come to fries, and they are crispy star-shaped tots-pretty tasty.) The pizza is delicious! My daughter had the chicken parmesan last night and she said it was great. Our meals took an inordinately long time to arrive last night though--I saw they had a sign up looking for help, and they were pretty busy though so we forgave them. While waiting, I enjoyed the micro-brew on tap-they serve brews from The Library in Laramie, and change the brew every so often. They have some tables up on the roof, and the outdoor area is like an oasis-grassy area with aspen all around-very pretty!
