There really isn't many options in Romney West Virginia. I have to say that this place sticks out like a sore thumb. It's mama modern looking building into town that looks really old. When we got inside the hostess was very nice and sat us. I noticed that they had a lot of New York photos on the wall. Being from New York I had to ask the waitress what was up with all the New York themed stuff in the middle of West Virginia. She had no idea. The food here was surprisingly very good. If I had to take a guess I would say that this is the best place to eat in Romney. I had a southwestern wrap which was very good. After I was done with my sandwich I had an old-fashioned hot chocolate which was absolutely delicious. You can get milkshakes and other dessert items here. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this place the staff was very nice and the food was excellent I would definitely come back here. I highly recommend this place.

Pretty pricey menu ( crab cakes for $22, really?), so I went for a Caesar salad but it had stale croutons made out of their recycled leftover homemade bread. Not toasted, just dried out. And how can you not have lemon for the ice tea? The calzone was pretty good though with four cheeses plus the addition of spinach. The service was prompt and friendly. Finally, I will say this is the second place with flies in two days. Pretty obnoxious for a supposedly classy place. Seems like Hampshire County deserves better...

AMAZING FOOD!!! This is the BEST place to eat in all of Hampshire County!!!! HANDS DOWN! OK sooooo this is the Brand New Main Street Grill Formerly in Slanesville Wv but Moved to Romney leaving its sister Restaurant Main Street Diner (which is also delicious) at the former location.... Ok FIRST OFF the building alone is Gorgeous! The Design, Layout, Decor, & Overall Ambience of this place CAN NOT BE BEAT there is nothing to rival it for MILES!!!! Just had dinner tonight and the FOOD WAS AWESOME! I love the hot home made bread they bring out before your meal DELICIOUS! Try any of their burgers or pizza it wont disappoint! Everything taste homemade! ALSO I'm excited to try the "Soda Shoppe" which is a full fledge ice cream bar!!!! YUM!!!

Came to Romney to visit family that lives here and 12 of us went here for dinner. We made reservations 4 days in advance but arrive to find out they take reservations but don't hold tables so you still may wait for your table. Service was great our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. Prices were as good if not better than you would find in a trendy chain place in Winchester or Cumberland. Food was as good as the original location and contrary to another yelpers comment I did not find the gravy too salty. Overall we were all pleased with all our entrees and the milkshake bar was a hit with the young ones. If I have a complaint it is they don't have lemon wedges but rather offer you a powdered substitute. ( not what people want these days)

This place is great for its new location. The only real problem i have with the place is the prices compared to what you get. Alot of the items on the menu are overpriced in my opinion. I ordered the 40 piece boneless hot wings, which was priced at 21 dollars which is actually ALOT better than waynes meat market in keyser, but thats the only thing i was hankering for that was in a decent price range. There were other items decently priced, but its really hit or miss.

Food is good. Ingredient quality seems very good. Staff is always very friendly and attentive, though service can be slow at prime lunch hours. Prices are high, especially for the area, and its been very noticeable since the place opened.

This is a review for the ROMNEY, WEST VIRGINIA location. I was there on 28 December 2014 because I have been told several weeks ago that steak is no longer served at the Main Street Grill in Slanesville, WV. When Avalon Resort in Paw Paw, West Virginia is closed, we use that facility to serve our dining needs. Got to have a steak at least once in a while. So, I decided to go to the Romney location. If they don't serve alcohol, which is fine by me since I don't drink. It looked very much like a bar that I was seated next to in a booth. They had a special Christmas menu that I ordered the crab encrusted ribeye from. Very nice place. I gave my waitress a twenty percent tip. It seems that college students run the Romney place as opposed to high school students that run the Slanesville location.

Loved this place at its original location and was NOT disappointed to find it is still the same amazing food and atmosphere as the original. Family run business and family friendly restaurant (no alcohol!) Many choices on the menu. Recommend the Chicken Under the Sea and the Blueberry soda!! Crab cakes are also awesome! Prices and portions are reasonable and service is timely. Definitely classiest place to eat in Hampshire County!
