High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. You should also avoid Avocado Bacon Burger and Monterey Melt as both these burgers contain a high amount of fat. Sweat & Spicy Bacon Burger will add extra 1080 calories in your diet so skip that as well. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

I've been back twice, once with my mother who is a notoriously critical eater, she ordered the duck, and still hasn't stopped raving about it. This place is the best restaurant in morgantown!

Date night! Wonderful blend of casual yet upscale ambiance with outside seating overlooking the Mon' River. Nice music playing on outside speakers including Bob Marley...to make the scene even better, our dog Gypsy got a warm welcome and a cold dish of water from staff and settled content beneath the table. For us the menu is more of a tapas/small plate type dining. The menu includes starters, 1st and 2nd course groupings. Some of the menu items had clever names that required some schooling from the waiter. We didn't make a poor choice, all were delicious-probably a reflection of the entire menu. The watermelon w/feta; and wrapped figs with pepper jam were perfect starters. We then chose 3 items from the 2nd course: 4 thumbs up for the lamb chops, scallops were amazing. The plates are small but priced appropriately. We found the shrimp linguini dish a little bland for our taste but still very good. The wine list deserves a shout out, far more extensive than the food choices. A half dozen great local beers on tap made me happy. All in all, I don't think you can go wrong with a night at Table 9.

We came here with a group while vacationing on a Saturday night. It wasn't packed and we got in quickly. The service was friendly and the food came quickly. The food was well prepared and well presented but the portions are small. We ordered the brussel sprouts, clams, scallops with asparagus and bacon, lamb, hanger steak, and the soba noodles. Some of our entrees/apps were only so-so like the bone marrow and the watermelon. The lamb was excellent as was the brussel sprouts. The drinks and wine were good too.

Great unpretentious foodie restaurant in Morgantown! We were very pleasantly surprised. The 5 of us were very comfortable in this place, even though we had been working all day, and were in snow suits and burner attire. (fuzzy cat hats etc) Almost everything that we ate, we just said WOW this is really good. The roasted brussel sprouts were perfectly crispy and tangy, the Devils on Horseback with dates and pepper jam were so great! Just wish they had a bit more in the appetizer portion, only 4 of them, and there 5 of us. The fried pickles were adored by all, though I think they had a bit too much breading. The scallops dish was very tasty, but be warned, there were only 2 on the plate. The butternut risotto, was only so-so. It had tiny cubes of butternut squash, and wasn't super flavorful. My husbands hanger steak was probably my favorite. Cooked to perfection and the spices and juiciness just made us keep saying, "This is so good!" with each bite. The waiter was knowledgeable and fun, and there were some great cocktails and wine selections. Overall, definitely a place we would like to revisit, and we kept telling people the next few days how surprised we were to find a foodie place like this in Morgantown.

Table 9 is a bit out of my price range, so this is not a normal dinner spot. That being said, for an occasional "treat-yourself" style evening, or a hot date, this is a great spot. The location next to the river (and the huge floor-to-ceiling glass next to it) really helps with the ambience--which is already quite impressive. However, I'm here on yelp for one thing and one thing only. The Tuesday $15 Beer-Bourbon-and-Burger night. Oh my goodness, this is nothing short of a revelation. Each week is a completely new burger, which have never failed to impressed. On quizzing our waiter, we discovered that they've never repeated a burger recipe -- each which is completely new. So the burger is good, but so is their beer. They highlight 5 or 6 (I believe) taps that I think were all from WV breweries. And they picked the cream of the crop -- they had quite an impressive collection. Less impressive was their Bourbon selection, but they still had two good middle-shelf choices (I forget their names off the top of my head). While I don't think there's a dress code, you'll probably not want to show up in shorts and a t-shirt. You'll probably at least want to throw on some pants and a button up (if you have one lying around, otherwise just ditch your obnoxious graphic t-shirt). I try to hit up the Tuesday night burger specials at least once a month, they're really quite special, and for $15 it's my favorite weekly deal in Morgantown.

I thought overall the experience was great... Setup, food, quality an customer service. They control the portions so I would definitely pick multiple apps to share but they are good. Devils on Horseback and the fries were both really good. Dinner also didn't disappoint.

I went on the night of their soft opening with several friends and between us all we tried pretty much all the choices on the menu. Pricing was not an issue that night because it was sort of a $20 tasting menu. My favorites were the pan fried ricotta, devils horseback (bacon wrapped dates), seared salmon, and the sautéed apples pound cake. The cocktails weren't as strong as I like them but still tasty. I was pleased to see the creativity of the dishes. And can tell this place has great potential. I'm hoping when it's up a running they'll start a weekend brunch with cocktails. Seems like the perfect place for it. I do feel something is missing in terms of the atmosphere. Can't quite put my finger on it though. The service was of course slow, but on opening night I kinda expected that. Very friendly though, and I am sure they'll be great.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there tonight. Second visit to Table 9 and it was terrific! The staff are friendly and helpful, excellent wine selection, had the hanger steak and the scallops, finished with the pot de crème. One of the best places you'll find in Morgantown. Already looking forward to our next visit.

This was our 2nd time and it was just as great as the first. I had the pan seared duck, my husband had a chicken and barley special and both were awesome. Great service, great cocktails, great food. Both times we have driven up (at night) we've wondered whether it's open or not. They don't have any signs and it can be a little dark but walk up and try it! We're looking forward to trying their brunch and Tuesday night special!

Such a cute hip restaurant! I got the cheeseburger and fries which was super tasty! My mom got the flatbread veggie melt sandwich was also amazing! The fried zucchini in the flatbread was delicious! The best part was sitting outside and looking at the river! We got to watch a girl lose her keys in the river too

Great Lunch, Best Cuban Sandwich you will find. Local beers and house cocktails are also excellent. Prices are very reasonable and great place to take a date. The only drawback here is the parking situation.

Table 9 has been around for almost 2 years. I've enjoyed most all meals here. Tonight was only average. The Siracha fries are always terrific. The watermelon salad is fantastic but the beets work better with it than cherry tomatos. The lamb chops were well prepared and quite good. The Siracha fries are always great. The red snapper special with a curry sauce was so-so. It was missing something, a bit of basil or cilantro perhaps. I picture the curry sauce served with couscous or brown rice too. Most disappointing was the shrimp carbonara. It was way too heavy and rich. And the flavor was not "there". This is not a spring/summer dish in my opinion. They have done much better. Maybe it was an "off night". The service is always excellent and that alone keeps me coming back.

I appreciate Table 9's ambition: local, fresh produce, interesting dishes, a somewhat more upscale dining experience. By and large, the food is good, though as many have noted, portions are small and prices are high. I enjoyed the lamb special, and my wife liked her mushroom risotto. The problem is that, in many respects, this ambition is not matched by good execution. If this is going to be a pricy, upscale restaurant, then what's up with the large-screen TVs showing SportsCenter, and the loud music? Can we ever escape a TV in a Morgantown restaurant - at least when it's not a game day? The sports bar atmosphere inside led us to sit outdoors, which was more pleasant but, but mid-September, kinda cold and dark. The service was similarly well-intentioned but lacking. Our waiter was very nice, and reasonably prompt, but in style belonged at Buffalo Wild WIngs. Plates slapped down in front of us; didn't know how to serve wine, but made a big show of presenting the bottle; lots of "how's everything tasting, folks?". Two people in our party ordered the same dish, but one came with toasted bread and the other did not. If I'm paying over $100 for two people, a bit more class and professionalism seems in order. I should also add that by 9 PM (Friday night), we were the last people in the restaurant. The staff was milling about, waiting for us to leave; instead of asking whether we wanted dessert, the waiter just brought us the bill. So, in what seems like a sad refrain, I'm left wishing for a grown-up, reasonably priced restaurant, for the rare occasion that my wife and I get a babysitter, want to put on something nice, and go out. Table 9 shows promise, but so far is falling short. I hope that they raise their game!

I love this place. Love the people who work here, love what they do (supporting local agriculture, when available), and love that I can ask them what's got gluten and dairy in it and they know and care.

Tuesdays! $15 for a beer, a burbon and a burger (Eagle Rare or Knob Creek). The burger was cooked just the way I ordered and tasted amazing! The service is fantastic and they'll point you in the right direction, even though it's hard to go wrong with anything here. Certainly a must when in MoTown!

We did not eat here tonight. Don't normally write reviews but our experience at Table 9 was great. The atmosphere was quiet. I don't know if they hsd any music playing. If they did, I didn't notice. Lots of fun drinks on the menu! We had several and they were all fantastic. Service was also great. I look forward to coming back and having dinner and more drinks.

The food was incredible! The service was excellent! This place just reopened from former owner (used to be the wharf). It is definitely a step up and a welcomed bit of fine dining to the morgantown area. The chef knows how to do it well. The food was perfectly cooked, our waiter actually knew about the dishes, how they were cooked, and how to recommend dish/drink combos. This place get an A+ in my book. And hopefully they'll give me a free dinner for saying so! Ha... But they really are amazing. Well done

Pretty good place... really nice bartender. Pretty view overlooking river. Had Kale/Caeser and they could go lighter on dressing but was good. Devils in blanket are good... scallops also very good.

  • Jenifer W.

Went on a Friday night in winter with my husband at about 7 p.m.. Love what they are trying to do and think they do it for a reasonable price given that they are locally sourcing stuff. But the taste of the food was inconsistent. My scallops were amazing, but the risotto they were on was really salty. My husband liked the Brussels sprouts appetizer, but my Caesar salad was really bland. The flank steak sounds good but the portion was extremely small--only four thin slices. My husband left hungry. Beer selection is good, and the Buttered Popcorn pot de creme was to die for. I want to support them, so I will go back at lunch time and try again.

  • Monica A.

Love the location and airy atmosphere...food was great, simple, and presented beautifully...our waitress Shelby was right on with her recommendations...we had the ricotta balls, scallop risotto, and duck...will go again.

  • Wuyi L.

The food was nice, at least, looked nice. However, the waiting time let me not come back again. We waiting for 20 minutes for the appetizers, that was fine, and waiting another 30 minutes for the first-round entree.....and another 20 minutes for the second-round entree....At last, we waited at least 20 minutes for the bill......... We had 2 hours spent in the restaurant and only less than 15 minutes on the food. We don't want to the experience like this any more.

Honestly I wasn't expecting much as the restaurant that was in there before was only so-so. I went lunch there with some friends and tried their Cubano sandwich and was utterly blown away (and I'm picky about my Cubano's). Do yourself a favor and try the sriracha fries! I'm not a big fan of super spicy and I thought they were top notch. The ambiance is nice as it looks over the river. I haven't had the pleasure of dinner there, but I looked at the menu and saw at least 4-5 things I wanted to try. I'd be happy to go back there again.

Great food and drinks but they are trying to do a tapas style thing with pub food. It's honestly a great idea but I wish they had more options because I want to go here for date nights, that doeant really work with such small portions and it's fairly expensive so I can't afford a few entrees to fill me up. I think this place would work better in a bigger city but if they want to succeed I think they need to rethink their portioning. It sucks that this isn't really the town for this unique and creative idea. Lunch was awesome here though.

We got here by accident. Desk clerk at hotel gave us directions to a brew pub that was a "two-minute walk" down the river walk. After five minutes in the rain (and we walk fast) my wife was starting to complain -- and then we saw this place. Very nice people. Wonderful variety of small plates to share -- and for us one of the small plates actually made a nice entree. Service was excellent. Food was too. Good bar. Probably a nice river view in the daytime or when it is not raining. Definitely worth a visit.

I'm curious to see if this place makes it. The food was tasty for the most part--cooked well, quality ingredients, interesting menu. But the cost for the number of dishes you would need to order to go there for dinner is way out of proportion to the value of the experience. The atmosphere is pretty casual and minimalist, which I tend to like, but it wasn't great (tons of TVs on and the music was really annoying--hard to hear and not in any way supportive of fine, fun, or interesting food). Who's going to feel good about paying what could easily total $50/person for an app, a couple small (very small) plates, drinks, and a shared desert in a place that isn't a draw for the atmosphere. Anyway, I guess I'm a foodie, I'm definitely a regular diner out in Morgantown, and I have lived here for years and seen restaurants in Mo'town come and go, and my *strong* suggestions for the owners of Table 9 if they want this pretty good idea to succeed in Morgantown are the following: 1) Drop the prices on "small plates" or increase the portion sizes by at least 20%. That "filet" that you charged us $15 for was pretty good, but it was barely 4oz and came with a few tiny small pieces of roasted cauliflower--that's a surefire way to piss someone off; 2) For the next couple weeks or until business gets good, have the chef showcase a small taste of an item tables don't order--send it out for free; 3) Bring something in to soften the ambient noise in there (plants, rugs, something)--the open hard floors are not nice enough or sound absorbing enough to support the prices and style of the menu; 4) PLEASE get some cooler, less noisy music and turn it up slightly so it doesn't just sound like painful ambient noise--something modern and loungey or trip-hoppish (like Massive Attack) to go with your eclectic or minimalist vibe; and 5) Run daily drink specials or Happy Hour drink and food to get adults in who will make it a place where they can meet their friends to drink at the bar and then order a few small plates and not care how much they cost. You might even consider creating a couple "floating" seating areas with some of the open space that have a rug and four comfortable chairs around a coffee table (like at the Wine place across town) to encourage that early clientele. Good luck!

Don't come hungry. Small portions and slow service. The pictures are all outdated. They have a very limited menu, don't get the flank steak! Save your money and go somewhere else.

Had a party for my wife's 40th at Table 9. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent as was the wine and beer selection. I have stopped here for lunch a few times since and I was very happy with the food.

Went with a group and ordered everything on the menu. I was very impressed by several of the dishes. The lamb was by far my favorite, as were the Devils on Horseback and the martini with jalapeno. Possibly the best restaurant in Morgantown.

Very interesting restaurant. We went on the night of their soft opening. We tried their tasting menu. Foods are delicious and atmosphere is just right. It's a prefect place for friends to get together after work. My favorite is the BLACKENED TUNA. Must try!!! I will highly recommend this place to all my friends in Mo'town.

Table9 was above and beyond, excellent food, service, and atmosphere. if you want bar food and chicken wings hit BW3's, if you want an adult meal in an intimate locale Table9 is the place. Impressive to say the least, I expect to see Table9 become a mainstay of Morgantown cuisine. There is a time tested and true to the word saying, "you get what you pay for." My dining experience at Table9 was worth every penny.

This place is phenomenal! Definitely one of the BEST menus in town. It makes me really sad that the Olive Garden parking lot was full the night that we went to Table 9 and we were the only table in the house. I guess that ended up being a plus because our service was amazing! This menu makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The brussel sprouts were amazing! My brother ordered the beet salad, and it was outstanding. My mom had the lamb, also delicious. Even the bacon cheese fries were awesome. The olive oil cake was fabulous and very unique! It was olive oil cake with goat cheese (I think it was goat), salted almonds, and fresh berries - perfect flavor combo! This was my first time here, and I will definitely be back. I hope that the word gets out about this place. It's really great. Our server was wonderful...very attentive. The atmosphere is also really nice. I imagine it will even be better in the summer when you can sit outside. If you're considering this place, just GO! Give it a try. I was born and raised in WV, and I have seen a lot of restaurants come and go (as I saw that another reviewer noted) - Table 9 is really special. This place is quality! It is really exciting to have that in Morgantown!

A beautiful location right on the river, unfortunately they are missing the boat, at least for now. Yes, they did only open up a short time ago, hopefully the service and chef issues will be tended to. But most of that should be worked out before the really doors opened for business. My companion and I went on a Friday night, no reservations. The hostess were totally flustered and had no idea how to deal with the people coming in. IDEA FOR YOU: CALMLY and COLLECTIVELY suggest sitting in the beautiful seating area or at the bar while waiting. We decided to head to the bar, on our own. Bartender was nice and attentive. Hopefully they will be expanding their "speciality" drinks selection as there was just 6 choices. We were told once "x" table is clear then they would seat us. "X" sat empty for about 15 minutes in which I finally inquired about the table. We were told "the chef is slammed and doesn't want any other seatings." We were already seated, at the bar, had 2 rounds of drinks AND ordered 2 small plates and planned in ordering more. This made no sense what so ever and blew our minds. I asked to see the manager. She came out, then she got the owner in which sat us. When we changed locations we had to move our drinks and food ourselves even though service staff was standing around watching us. IDEA FOR YOU: tend to your customers and be of assistance. Once sat at the table, a waiter came over and told us that we were going to have "So-and-so, she's training so he'll be keeping an eye on her." We were totally fine with that. Except, she was grossly underprepared and scared to death. Hopefully she will get better with time, she couldn't get worse. Now we have 2 servers tending to us and it made it very difficult to just eat as they were constantly coming by, inquiring how we were doing. And yet, our water glasses never got refilled nor did our drinks. IDEA FOR YOU: have you staff pay attention to the glasses, water and drink. The food, well it was just OK, at best. We ordered a mixture of appetizers and small plates. The grilled brussel sprouts were steamed beyond belief. They were so over cooked they were rubber. Maybe they tried to hide this by smothering it in hollandaise sauce as opposed to accenting. Terrible. We had the scallops, tuna, lamb, beet salad (VERY GOOD) and our most favorite, not because of how it tasted because the combo doesn't work at all...way to sweet, but because of the entertainment factor, the pooping dates. We laughed so hard for so long that our faces hurt, we had side aches and tears were flowing down our cheeks. You have to see it for yourselves. On a serious note, food should NOT BE FUNNY. A problem that occurred, we ordered many dishes, as that's they way it's set up. Even though its "small plates", they physically are on BIG plates and we didn't have enough space on the table. IDEAS FOR YOU: 1) either put the food on smaller plates (don't worry, we get the whole presentation thing but think of functionality) or 2) have the dishes presented/timed as to complement each other by bringing them out in a proper order so the food experienced us actually enhanced. Desserts, they were out of 3 of the 5 selections so we ordered the only 2 left. We inquired about after dinner drinks, such as coffee and tea and our waitress had no clue. It's coffee and tea for goodness sake. As the desserts were placed, the bill was presented. We still had our last course and now felt like we were getting rushed out. IDEA FOR YOU: have the servers present the check once the meal is DONE. Then looking at the bill, it had been split up between the 2 of us. We understand this is a college town and that is a common occurrence. This is not a college eatery and were are not college kids. We were actually a bit offended. IDEA FOR YOU: don't split the bill unless requested by the customer, this is classier than a kids sports bar. And speaking of sports bar, this is nit. Please, please get rid of the TVs. As we were finishing up, tucked back in the corner was the "specials of the night". This was the first time we had any idea of this. Unfortunately, there were 2 items we would have ordered had we known. But again, staff issues/lack of knowledge, whatever. So with that, we spent $150 for 2 people for so-so food (beautiful presentations just no flavors), barely functional service and apparently kitchen, no compensation for the inconvenience of the table thing such as a complementary "something", great setting, and quit noisy making conversation difficult. You are trying to be a higher scale resturant and with a few tweaks and major improvements with your staff you can do it. Good luck...
