Just passing through town and stopped on a whim...my tummy was screaming for something different than the run-of-the-mill meal; and VIOLA! Primanti Bros sandwich to the rescue. I ordered the pastrami and cheese and my girlfriend ordered the corned beef with cheese: what else can I say but, phenomenal sandwiches! Combine great food with a good beer tap along with a super chill sports bar feel and it all equal a great experience!

This is a classic Pittsburgh sandwich shop and only recently opened here in Morgantown. Huge portions, decent prices and amazing flavors. Traditionally coleslaw and hand cut fries are inside and part of the sandwich. Can get kinda messy...always delicious.

Fries don't belong in a sandwich, I ended up taking them all out! I don't know who thought that was a good idea. Once I yanked out all the fries I realized there wasn't much roast beef on my sandwich. The table felt really grimey. Our waitress was super nice though!

Capicola wasn't cooked very long, slaw and fries weren't "piled high" and if I could only hear little blondie the server complain more..."I wish we could close now" "that table wanted separate checks and had $5 coupons". Holy shit, separate checks and coupons in a college town? SHUT UP!!!

The sandwich was huge but lacked flavor and the beer selection was limited. This place lived up to the old adage, "Looks can be deceiving."

Beer is a little pricey but the sandwiches are the bomb diggity. I have been here many times and it is safe to say you won't leave still hungry.

Get the double meat Pitts burger without slaw. The slaw is the only recommendation i have to not get... Too sour . Milkshakes are the bomb!!!!

Nachos were awesome, portions are huge, service is very friendly and nice atmosphere. My sandwich was ok and my drink wasn't the best, but wasn't the worse, I've ever had. I'll go back because I would like to try more and I will change my rating if needed.

The host and our waitress was very friendly. The atmosphere is very laid back, which is different from some of the busy downtown Pittsburgh locations. They have a good beer selection with great prices. I always get the cheese sandwich with everything on it and add hot sauce. Love it!

Quite possibly the worst eating experience that I have ever had. Lets start with the service and beer which were great but after that it took a complete nose dive. Fries were cold in both the apps and on the sandwich. They ran out of romaine lettuce for the Cesar and presented some nasty pond scum for a dressing. The Angus sandwich that I got was nothing short of 1930 baseball glove found in baseball hall of fame. The meat and cheese were cold and both equally as tough. DDD should have done a show on this place, he would have thrown the plate against the wall. Too bad because I had soooooo much hope given the reputation of the store in Pittsburgh. Now...would not touch any of them with a 10ft pole. I hope someone reads this and fixes this establishment.

I had never been to a Primanti's before but we decided to go to lunch there and I loved it. I am not a huge fan of cole slaw, but the waitress told me it wasn't mayo based and I decided to give it a try and it was delicious. I ordered the roast beef and cheese and my boyfriend got the genoa salami and cheese. We both really enjoyed our sandwiches and they were huge!! I would without a doubt go back and get the same one! But I did see personal pizzas being delivered to a near by table that looks delicious. Service was also great for a Sunday afternoon.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Primanti is an institution in and of itself. When fast food places like Sheetz start to imitate your style, you must be doing something right. French fries on a sandwich seems like something you would see in the south, alongside such creations as the Donut Burger, or fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches, but at Primanti's, it adds something hearty to an already delicious sandwich. It is something that is wholeheartedly Pittsburghian, a perfect match for Morgantown - the best city in West Virginia, with aspirations to Steel City stature. The Mon River and the Steelers are no longer the only things we share. Our Primantis somehow incorporates a distinctly Morgantown feel. The wait can be a bit much, something to expect if you have eaten at a new restaurant in Morgantown. A new establishment here enjoys a long honeymoon period while the city checks it out. Expect to be there awhile, or come back in a couple months when the students are gone. Bottom line: a good bet for a night out, a quick bite (once the gawkers get their fill), and a decent bar scene. I'm glad I don't have to drive to Pittsburgh to grab a good sandwich any more.

I've been to a couple in Pittsburgh, and then tried this one in Morgantown, and they're all the same- meh. The wings were ok, the actual quality of the wings weren't very good, but the sauce was great. I ordered one of their stackers, and the sandwich came with salami and cheese. The sandwich only came with a couple slices of salami which was disappointing, the cole slaw was bitter. The whole sandwich was pretty bland, and felt like I needed to drown it in hot sauce for flavor. I've tried enough of these restaurants to say I don't care to go back to any.

Huge portions, half the price of most restaurants! Beware! Don't get the fried chicken sandwich unless you are a big eater! Two big pieces of chicken on one bun! Good quality food at a great price!

Well I've seen this place on travel channel and food network... Not this actual location but the one in Philly... And I've always wanted to try it! I'm traveling to Kentucky to lake cumberland so I planned to stop here on the long drive ... Boy was it worth it! I had the angus steak sandwich and the meat was tender, the bread super fresh, fries are hand cut fresh... Oh and coleslaw was simple and a nice touch. A meal in a sandwich pretty much and it was good!! Nice location, near stores and other restaurants. It's a college town so football was on the screen, I sat at the bar. The waitress was helpful and friendly and the manager even stopped by and checked on me ..... Don't hesitate check it out

Service was quite slow considering there was almost no one in the place while we were there. I ordered a bottled soda which was fine but my kids ordered fountain drinks which were over diluted and flat. The food was decent but overpriced for what you get. Our server seemed disappointed we didn't order dessert and made it known by her change in demeanor despite the fact we had already ordered quite a bit of food including appetizers.

Good unique food in a nice clean location. Their sandwiches might not be for everyone but that have a nice selection of other dishes that will allow nearly every to find something they like.

Our server Stephanie was totally awesome! Has both bar seating and outdoor so both family and sportsbar friendly. Food was served quickly and was fresh/hot. If you're looking for a different kind of sandwich the menu is totally unique - fries served on the sandwich etc. Restaurant was super clean and very nice! If we visit Morgantown again we will be back! Ps brownie Sundae is awesome too- but order to share because it's big!

So awesome they finally put a store here in Morgantown! The restaurant is so nice inside. My group of 4 sat on the indoor/outdoor deck next to the fire pit table. My husband and I have been to the strip district location in Pittsburgh several times. The new Morgantown location lives up to the original store and then some. IC light on tap and our sandwiches were amazing! I'm giving 4 stars only because our server seemed a little tippsy. She kept dropping f bombs and slurring her words. But me and my group of friends are pretty chill people. The food and beer made up for it. I can't wait to go back and watch some Pirates baseball there during happy hour half off al drinks 3-6 pm. If you haven't experienced a Primantis sammich in Pittsburgh you need to go to the Morgantown location. You won't be disappointed!

Ate with my kids. Service was decent, there was as minor problem with my sandwich but it was resolved to my satisfaction. Menu was hard to read printed dark and the room, was,a,bit dim.

Nothing too special here. Great beer and happy hour prices. Sandwiches can be a little bland -- the novelty comes from the Pittsburgh fries and slaw served on the sandwiches and not on the side. Service has been hit or miss. Good place to grab a beer and watch the game.

The atmosphere was great plenty of TVs to watch, good specials for the Pens games. My first experience with the food however was not so spectacular, a soggy bun and fries matched with warmed lunch meat. If you're looking for medium roast beef you'll be disappointed with that choice. Toasting the bun would be my preference. Service was sub par, I hope it gets better from here.

If you are looking for the original Pittsburgh-style Primanti's sandwich, this place won't disappoint. Everything besides that though is pretty subpar. Being a former employee there, I know firsthand that the place is terribly managed, managers are rude and don't care about the staff. They don't cater to the customers at all, all they care about is making money on game day. All the other food besides the fries and cole slaw sandwich comes out of the freezer or a can/bag. The wait staff is not well trained because the managers fire employees all the time over nothing and neglect to take the time to ease their replacements into the workplace. I've gotten numerous complaints from friends/family about how terrible service was.

Prompt service even though they were very busy. I was a little skeptical of the "fries on sandwich" thing, but I loved it. The meal was reasonably priced.
