We had a group of seven people for dinner. I had the strip steak which was very good but I thought overpriced. One had a ribeye one had a fillet one had sirloin and one person had salmon everybody's dinner was very good. The salads were very big dressing was good. They had drink specials for four dollars which we enjoyed very much. Our waiter was very pleasant And friendly. Very knowledgeable about the menu. When we asked for coffee He brewed a fresh pot instead of bringing us old coffee which we were very thankful for. Had a very enjoyable evening.

Like all Outback restaurants this is way overpriced for the experience. Instead, I recommend going across town to Texas Roadhouse and get a better steak at half the price.

Had a lovely girl seat us and made the whole meal quite nice. The only complaint I have is the same with all Outbacks. The way the cut their steaks makes it difficult to cut and eat. They are so thick you really need to fillet them in half then cut and eat them. The problem with this is that you really have to like a range of doneness. I ordered mine Medium Rare. This translated into Medium on the outside, Medium Rare a quarter of the way through and Rare in the middle. I know about this and I don't mind a Rare steak now and again. We ate early and so there was no wait. This is always nice and colors a review a little more rosy than it would normally be. All and all we had a great time. The seating was clean and comfortable.

I luv Outback as a whole. The food is outstanding! But their business hours really suck! Always has. I drive a semi and got to this location 5min after closing. Couldn't even get a freakin salad. They should really extend their hours. Only giving this one 1 star because of the the hours of operation. No doubt it could be 4 or 5. Maybe I will change it if I can mamge to beat the closing bell.

In town for business and this place was close to my lodging. Outback is usually consistent mid-level food. First off, the acrid stench of second hand smoke hits you as you walk in the door. Even though the smokers are behind a glassed-in bar area, like some sort of zoo exhibit, the smell still fills the restaurant. Once beyond that you are seated by semi-nice young people (19-22). Usually any place near a major college can count on a steady supply of labor so they don't invest much in training. The booth is where it gets almost painful. Obviously some complete ass-hat back at Outback Corporate thought up the lighting scheme for the booths without ever experiencing it for him/herself. With a 100w bulb just above eye level you can see the debris the dishwasher left behind in your beer glass, but not much else. You can't look around the restaurant because the bulb is right in your face. Everything above eye-level is a dark shadow. I began to feel like I was in an interrogation room, and boy was I ready to talk - no water boarding required. You can see your food, very well in fact. The Outback lighting would also be suitable surgery or delicate electronic soldering - no soldering gun required. The food? it was average. I had the new sliced filet thing, which is basically just a steak they cut up for you and perch artfully on a ladder of overcooked steak fries. Next time I'm in town I'll try the Ruby Tuesday next door. Doubtful I'd ever step foot in this particular Outback again, or any other with this Stalag 13 lighting scheme.

We normally like Outback, but will be avoiding this one from now on. Service and food preparation are mediocre at best. The last time we were there, the food was not great but not worth complaining about. There were four other tables around us, and somebody from the kitchen had to come back and apologize at two of them. The time before that our food was also not great, so with two bad experiences in a row we'll be looking at other options from now on.

I seem to be having the worst time with chain restaurants lately, so I was pretty leery. I haven't been to an Outback for 20+ years after a bad piece of meat in one. When I ordered a ribeye melt they couldn't cook it med rare so I decided I'd just pass and pick up some fast food on the road after my family ate. The waitress talked to the kitchen and got the thinner cut change out for a thicker cut so they could cook it properly. Kudos for going out of the way to make the customer happy!

Their Take Out is great. Almost always on point and hot. DO NOT order the bone in Ribeye. They have no idea how to cook it properly. I've ordered it three times and every time it gets sent back because it's wrong. Never had issues with their other steaks and I'd say their sirloin is one of the best. I'm never ordering a nice cut beyond a sirloin here again though. That's why it has 3 stars. Three different meals where I spent over $50 with my family and all I got to eat was the appetizer and bread because they can't cook a Ribeye.

They will not be seeing us again. We have dined there several times and each time we order a steak they cannot get it cooked right for all persons at our table. Are they NOT a steak restaurant? I do not want to see a pool of blood on someone's plate again!

Excellent experience faster seating than was estimated, service was great thanks to our server Craig who was very knowledgable about the menu and drinks. Most juicy and tender steak cooked to perfection (woodfired) with an ice cold beer and good conversation. This is my second trip to this location and was a great experience about the same time last year!

I'm not sure what has changed in the last few weeks at this place, but the filet mignon steak I received today was unlike any filet I have ever received at this Outback or any others I have visited. It was as flat as a pancake and looked pan fried. They have lost my business.

I went there with my family (5 of us total) during graduation week (my brother was graduating too from WVU law school). My family and I drove up from Raleigh, NC for the occasion.. Mom wanted Steak, so we went here. It was VERYYY busy, understandably so because of all the families coming into town (like us) to see their family/friends graduate. Anyways, they told us it was going to be a 25 minute wait, yet we got a seat in about 10 mins. Our server was sweet, definitely busy though. We ordered the tuna appetizer & the other trio one (that also had the tuna as part of it). The manager (Oscar) brought us out the trio, missing the tuna and explained that it was too well done and he wont serve it to us like that.. and that was the last piece. So he asked if we wanted anything else.. but my sister in law in gluten free, so there is not much else we could do.. but he kind've created a crab appetizer for her that suited her dietary needs and didnt charge us for that! Plus he brought the rest of us like a double order of coconut shrimp. He did not charge us for that either.. He was SO polite & funny.. we absolutely loved him! We all commented on how wonderful he was! And my family members are some TOUGH critics!! Throughout the night he kept checking on us, picking up plates, getting us more bread, whatever we needed! i mean this guy was top-notch! He turned a situation that couldve ended pretty ugly & negatively, and completelyyyy flipped it around to where we were all shaking his hand as we walked out the door, smiling! That guy is fantastic and I just really felt the need to let it be known. It was SO busy, and Im sure stressful as well.. but everyone stayed very polite & happy towards us. Great job you guys! And Oscar, you are FANTASTIC! My family will always come back there as long as you are there.. that's for sure! Thank you for a lovely evening!

Went there last evening. Ordered dinner and it arrived fairly quickly. The waitress dropped it off and left. Only problem was, we had no silverware and condiments were missing from the table. She finally came back to ask how our food was, which we hadnt tasted, and told her we needed some utensils. She laughed and went to get some. The food was fine. I couldnt get my iced tea re-filled to save my life, even though my empty glass sat at the edge of the table closest to the aisle and she walked past no less than four times. When she brought my check, I asked for a to-go box for my remaining food. She then brought me a new glass of tea, but I was already done with my meal. I never did get the to-go box I asked for. The restaurant itself was fine(food, atmosphere, seating time), the service was terrible.

Our server and hostess were excellent! Our compliments to our waitress Sarah who made a great effort to provide excellent service! She provided excellent service and received a 20% tip as a result. We didn't want to hold the server or hostess responsible for the food. My mom's salad came out WATERY! Too much water in the salad and it totally ruined the entree. My pasta quantity wasn't that big and it seemed like they didn't drain the water from the pasta. THEY ALSO serve GOLD PEAK iced tea. Fine dining establishments that charge the money they do don't serve it. It is a poor quality blend of iced tea and has a very nasty aftertaste. It doesn't come across as refreshing. Even MCDONALDS won't serve Gold PEAK TEA due to quality issues. If they want $50.00 for 4 people to eat, I expect better quality food and beverage. The food was not worth the money they charge. It isn't enough to have decent service in a restaurant; the quality of the food and beverage provided is equally as important. Visited March 2015

Absolutely amazing! Today was my first time here and it was incredible! From the minute I walked in the door, nothing but smiling faces from the employees and they were very helpful to me. Explained any questions I had about the menu, my order, etc. This is how all restaurants should be. Now, onto the food. DELICIOUS! I got the 12 oz. Sirloin cooked in the classic seasoning, which is a little spicy but extremely great-tasting. For my sides I had a Caesar salad and rice. It was all so good! Mouth-watering excellence! I will definitely be back! Hopefully very soon!

For better or worse, the Morgantown restaurant scene seems to be dominated by one chain restaurant after another. Within this group, Outback is certainly one of the better restaurants with an emphasis on quality foods -steaks and fish. This means the price may be a bit higher than the regular chain, but the quality of the meat and fish dishes warrants it. Our server was pleasant and professional and although it was a busy time we were not ignored.
