Never had a bad experience here. We always get Gen Tso, Shrimp and Broccoli, and occasionally wontons or teriyaki chicken sticks! I've never had it delivered, I always pick it up since it's so close, so my food has always been hot and fresh, most of the time I have to let it cool before I can eat it. The lady who normally takes phone orders is always a little short and not friendly, but it's good food, so I can handle some quick talking. Only place I will order Chinese Take Out from in Morgantown.

Pros: Very fast delivery. I'm talking like 20 minutes (I live 4 miles away, so that helps). Friendly staff for over the phone orders. Fairly decent food. I think I have ordered from there 10 times or so. All of it has been good except the last time.... Con: We got our usual order and the chicken was definitely expired. My husband threw up from it immediately. It was rancid and awful. I hope he doesn't get food poisoning...

The food is mostly greasy and a little bit soppy. It's good to sop up the gen tso sauce with the sugar donut, but not with the crab ragoon because it's a little too crusty lol. The sesame chicken is my world. They have a small dining area with semi-modern décor. We have always ordered take out. My grandfather who served in the Korean war even likes the place. He gets the moo goo gai pan and never complains about it being room temperature. He says 'If you eat it fast enough you won't be able to tell how hot or cold it is.' He usually gets indigestion from eating so fast but as long as it tastes good, who gives a crap. I would recommend this place to others. Only drawback is there is no public restroom to use while you wait for your order. If they would fix this simple problem then he would win another gold star from me.

I have ordered from here several times, through orderup. The wait times haven't been especially long, and I live about five miles away from where they deliver. Their food is actually pretty decent. While I stuck to foods I know - fried rices, teriyaki chicken, etc, I have not been disappointed. One of my biggest problems with chinese food is that it tends to be greasy, especially fried foods (I know, go figure). China One wasn't greasy. Anyway, I recommend China One.

china one is my favorite place to get chinese food fast when i'm drunk or sad or both sometimes when i'm sober i go there to pick up chiense food and they are very friendly in the restaurant and smile and say hello to me because they can tell i need people to talk to me sometimes i order delivery and they always say "please allow 45 minutes for delivery" but it is always a pleasant surprise when it only takes 19 minutes for delivery like it did today i have tried so many different kinds of food from china one and none of them have been bad. only downside, i can't eat everything at once because it is so yummy that my head will explode

Cold dumplings, worst hot & sour soup ever. Beef lo mein was good but hard to screw that up. Chicken curry was horrible. Live nearby but will never eat there again.

Best stir fried flat rice noodles I've gotten from a take out restaurant. I've been trying to find a place that makes it just as well in NYC but haven't been successful. Highly recommend this dish!

Horrible service...took 2 hours literally to get delivery when we were told it would be 40 mins. First time in town on business. Never again.

I love my Chinese food but this was a embarrassment. I ordered 2 combination platters and neither were any good. The general tso chicken tasted like some fried chicken nuggets with sauce on em. I also ordered the beef and broccoli.. idk what that was but I'm pretty sure I may have eaten a domestic animal. They even managed to overcook my fried rice. I have ordered from this place before a long time ago and it was okay, but quality has taken a dramatic turn for the worst. They did deliver it quickly.

I ordered from here and had my meal delivered. The food took over and hour and when I did get my food. My food included shrimp but the shrimp they brought me was not good. Basically it was bad shrimp and smelt completely horrible. I will absolutely never order from here ever again.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
