The chicken salad is the best in town!

Perfect lunch take out place and also has some nice outside tables to catch some vitamin d on warmer days. I love the Carnegie and the Caesar salad with chicken. Sandwiches are made with boer head meats. You'll find yourself craving this lunch spot every day.

We met my parents here for lunch, they drove down from Ohio and us up from Virginia to drop off my dog so they could watch him while we were away. The town and surrounding are beautiful!!! The people extremely nice! We were even allowed to bring our dog on the patio to sit with us, tons of sandwiches and salads to chose from, but a little underwhelming. My BLT hD like 3 pieces of bacon, wilting lettuce, and thin white bread. It was good, but very underwhelming. Great ice cream for desert, and like I said the staff and location are why I gave it 4 stars. The food... Probably 3. Go back.

This is a lunchtime favorite. I recommend the mountaineer sandwich on marble rye, the chicken salad sandwich (like home), and the taco salad. Also they make a great chili dog! And it's a good place to get an ice cream cone. They have the good kind of ice in their fountain drinks--if you know what I mean by that....

Great place to grab lunch. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and the iced tea is great. I had the BBQ brisket sandwich. It was piled high and delicious! Wish they had better side options, but the plain chips hit the spot.

Got to try their chocolate coke. Sometimes it's dirty, service is poor, slow and bugs in the ceiling lights. Sitting outside there's always allot bees in the flowers.

Just ate here for the first time a few weeks ago. My boyfriend has frequented this place for years and says they always have good food. This is the "day time lunch cafe" part of Food and Friends. I really enjoyed it! The Greek salad was more than I could finish. The bread served with it was great. I could have eaten many, many loaves :) My only complaint is that they don't have a Greek dressing to serve with the Greek salad. The balsamic vinaigrette just wasn't what I was looking for. Overall, I will be returning!
