One if the worst experiences I've had in a long time. Granted, Uno's is a pizza place and not a 5 star, white tablecloth gourmet establishment, but service is still important. We arrived at 8:00 and waited 5 minutes to be seated even though there were tables available. I ordered a bottle of house red and the waiting started. Ten minutes later, the waitress told us they were "making the wine" and ten more minutes later we were told they we out of the house red and pretty much all the other red wines! We ordered at that point - sirloin tips, blackened salmon, onion soup and 2 orders of sliders. After 40 more minutes of waiting, we were getting pretty hungry. Nobody seemed concerned that we were sitting at an empty table. We should have just left at this point. The mains arrived, but no soup and no silverware. There must be some union rule about who brings the silverware. Several people said "someone would get it" and 8 minutes later the waitress showed up with it. By this time every thing was cold. The soup finally showed up lukewarm. We got the bill before we had finished - the only quick thing there - for the full amount! What a nerve. Manager doesn't care, wait staff doesn't care, no one cares. Don't eat there.

@Unochicagogrill Stopped specifically at UNOs for the "quick lunch" specials. We only had one hour for lunch. Restaurant was nearly empty except for a few tables and folks at the bar. We asked Kaylene our server what the soups were on the soup bar and she

Great Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. The service we received was superb!

I come here regularly for lunch during the work week. The staff have always been prompt and courteous, and the lunch specials are a tremendous deal. This is a chain restaurant, so the food is fine but nothing spectacular (It's probably on par with Marshall Hall of Fame Cafe/Max & Erma's). However, I always leave feeling more than satisfied, if not bordering on uncomfortably full, due in large part to the lunch specials. I would definitely recommend the all-you-can-eat-soup + pizza lunch combo. There are always three or four soup options, one of which is typically vegetarian, and the 'personal' pizza could easily be split between two people. Although I have never been to Uno's in the evening, I also saw on the menu that they have great happy hour specials.

What a horrible experience The hostess was rude. The food was the worst. Ordered the Prima Pepperoni and there was maybe 8 slices of pepperoni on the "large Pizza" that was the size of a Domino's medium. Will never go back to any locations of this establishment ever again.

The service and food experience could be summed up at best as descent. We ordered the 'Número Uno Deep Dish'. It was rather temperate and not piping hot as I would assume it would be. The flavor was something I could have got from the frozen pizza section at a grocery store. However, the Oreo cookie brownie was really good.

Server was nice. But her other tables were in a different part of the restaurant. I realize this is not fast food. But . . . Took 47mins to get a burger, a kids pizza, & sirloin tips. (Side note - why does a pizza place have a 12 page menu??). Burger was ok. Fries came out cold - literally. Asked for frie replacement. They brought more COLD, soggy, limp fries. Kids pizza was good. Sirloin Tips at the Pizza place was crappy. Bottom line - DONT EAT HERE! Follow the force Luke - go to 5 Guys. Or Anywhere else! Surprised this place is still open.

We had a horrible experience. The wait was horrible on a Tuesday with very few customers. We waited almost 30 minutes for wilted lettuce and another 40 minutes for food that was cold. The waitress couldn't find any ketchup and brought the wrong drinks at refills (when we could get them). We will NEVER be back.

After arriving and getting a menu from the hostess, my daughter and I received NO acknowledgement, NO water, nothing from waitress or anyone else for over 15-20 minutes. We just finally got up and left, but my daughter came back inside and ask to speak to the manager and the hostess said she didn't know where he was. By this time the waitress showed up (magically) and they both just started whispering and acting rude, (just like High School) not even TRYING to find the Manager. After waiting another 5 minutes, we finally left!! (We saw the Manager outside smoking as we were getting in our car.) You can bet your last dollar, these two customers will NEVER come back again and I will be sure to tell our friends and family. We have both lived in this area all our lives and believe me, news like this travels fast in this town. Wouldn't you want to bring in customers in this economy? Not run them off??? Who ever owns this restaurant needs to get down here and do some house cleaning or this store will be closing AGAIN!!! Martha

Updated review (May 2015).. I had a coupon for Unos so we decided to try it out.. My husband and I were one of two groups in the entire restaurant but our service was still SLOW. We split a 'walnut, blueberry, and goat cheese salad' and a 'roasted eggplant, spinach, and feta pizza.' The food was still good.. the service was still not awesome. Previous review- I somehow ended up going here twice last weekend. The food was good, the service was so terrible that it more than overshadowed the good food. Day 1: We ordered appetizers and drinks. When we asked him questions about the menu or what drinks they had, he just kept saying "I don't drink here sorry.. I don't know" My salad (the field greens and goat cheese one) was delicious! But when we asked for plates for our nachos? He didn't bring them until we were completely finished. He refused to split the bill when some were ready to go, because "then he couldn't let anyone else order drinks anymore." Day 2: This server was much better but very quirky. We were with a large group and he refused to let people move seats as they arrived. "Once you sit down, please stay in your spot. I have a system." I understand that it can be confusing when people move around, but not everyone had even arrived yet! That said, the food came out quickly. I did notice that my salad, the same one I got the day before, now came with berries! The server from the day before did not give me berries. When we went to pay, it literally took 30 minutes to get our credit cards back. Very strange. My dessert was delicious and well worth the $1.99 price- I got the half brownie and ice cream. The food deserves 3-4 stars, the service deserves 0.

Not a bad place; good location and the food isn't too bad. Also, they have a gluten-free menu which is great as I have a gluten allergy.

Big and clean place. The help is friendly, food has its ups and downs. The calimari was good, salad was typical of what you get in a chain, and the salmon was done nicely. The salad had been made way ahead and stuck in a referigerator, bowl and all, rendering is reletavely flavorless. The drinks are excellent.
