My wife and I ate here thinking we would get similar drinks and food as we do in Morgantown. I'm pleased to report the food and staff were both very good. I had a burrito texano, and she had a quesadilla texano. Both of us enjoyed our meals. However, we both were anticipating a good margaritas. Unfortunately, they were both very weak and had a very strong gernadine taste. I ordered another round after speaking with our waiter. According to my wife, they corrected the problem. Me,...not so much. If you good food, come. If you want a good margarita, let the waiter know you want tequila in it.

Service is great, good came out fast and was very good. I had the sangria which was rather tasty and my girlfriend had a margarita which she enjoyed. The place was clean and staff very friendly. It's the best Mexican restraint in the area.

Great and drinks and food combination here. The bar is more than reasonably priced and the food is as good as any of the Tenampa's in town (which I love by the way). At least for me this is a nice place to take a group of friends and laugh all night while you wolf down some wet burritos. Oh! and their chips and salsa just might be the best in the city.

It's pricy, but the food is better quality than other local Mexican joints. My only problem is the lack of partitions. If you eat here, you will feel like you are eating with the neighbors seated next to you.

Great food, great service! Recommend the "Vallarta" steak and shrimp. Lots of seating and great happy hour! Ask for homemade hot sauce!

Great environment and very clean. Food was typical for a Mexican restaurant but tasted fine. Service was prompt and friendly. Bill was around $45 for four with no alcohol. I put it a tier above the mom and pop Mexican restaurants in the area for what it's worth. I'll be back.

Moderately priced tasty food. The staff was very attentive. They helped my husband get in and out of the building (he is on a walker). My chicken quesidia was seasoned just right. My husband enjoyed dinner number 7 chiken enchilada, chicken burrito with beans and rice. The cheese sauce made his bald spot sweat (that is a good thing). We enjoyed our dessert he haf key lime pie, I had flan...yum! We will go back, The decor is quite pleasing. The only downside is tje out of commission stall in the women's room and cold water in the hand sink.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh Nothing is wrong with the food. It was ok. Just the EXACT SAME MEXICAN FOOD you can get anywhere in the tristate. Atmosphere was loud and bordering on obnoxious.... Not bad, but not great.

Good food (Salmon Marino is my favorite--where else can you get salmon for under $9???), & nice building (inside & out). Majority of the menu is typical of every other Mexican joint in town, but it IS good. Service was decent but could've been better (our waiter seemed like a Mexican jumping bean--I know they were busy due to Cinco de Mayo, but slow down a little buddy!). If you're looking for a nice place to hang out w/friends & enjoy an inexpensive meal, this is a good choice. If you're looking for an intimate/low key setting, think again--rather loud.

I love this place! Coming from CA I've had trouble finding good Mexican food in Huntington but Margaritas is incredible. I've tried a variety of things here and have never been let down, so glad they opened here!

Very Americanized menu and selection. Food was good, but nothing spectacular. I had the shrimp fajitas, which were a little under seasoned but otherwise good. I also had a coupon for a free margarita. For a place named after the drink, I anticipated their signature drink to be a little better. The overall appearance of the restaurant was nice and clean. It was especially loud, but we were also sitting next to a large party. I would go back.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
