If you are looking for a Chinese buffet in Huntington, this is the place to go. The restaurant is clean, the decor is fairly nice, and the price is reasonable. I have always been pleased with the quality and variety of the buffet. Also, the sushi stands out as it is better than what you would usually find. My only criticism would be that the service is not always what you would like it to be.

Yellow Sign! Just call it that, it's the only name for it. This is a great buffet for Marshall students since you get a 10% discount with ID. They have very tasty options for all dishes that you'd expect to find at any Chinese buffet. I go often and pile on almost everything they offer because there isn't a bad choice on any of the three lines. Just go. It's well priced and quite good.

The food is good expect it's not hot kinda on the cold side. The people that work here act like they hate their life's and force to be there not very nice at all. I try to be nice to them by saying please and thank you also told them to have a good day and they won't say a word back. I've been here 3 time and not once seen a smile.

Hint: open the aluminum lid behind the soups for the best dumpling you will ever have. Not too many people know about that.

Obviously it's a buffet though you can order out too. Not that great service but its a buffet so you really don't need it. Really good food for that guilty get down in it experience. Don't expect too much but I honestly think its the best in town for what it is. If you want that fast-food fake Chinese then this is your best bet.

Found ROACH in food. Do not eat here! Went there today and found a Roach in my food. The food was off the buffet. I have never had this happen to me. I am so very disgusted. Bleeeeeeeh!

I had heard a lot about this place, however, when I stopped in for lunch I was disapointed. The customer service was poor and the waitress wasn't very welcoming or informative about dining options. I tried several items off the buffet, but so much of it was overwhelmed with sauce, frying, and fat, fat, fat. The sushi was also sub-par and I could barely eat it the taste was so blah. If you like fried foods, lots of sodium, fat, and sauce and don't have a taste for fresh ingredients and cooking then go here.

China Garden is fabulous--their variety is great, the place is dead cheap, and you can eat as much as you want. They do suffer from the problems I find common in chinese buffets, however--most commonly poor refill service and poor sushi. Would vastly be improved by the simple installation of a self-serve beverage station; the sushi thing is to be expected--you have to pay big bucks to get quality sushi.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
