Personally I adore this place. Huntington needed a BBQ joint, and if you're picking between Buddy's or Carolina? You're definitely going with Carolina. Super good prices for the portions you receive, sides are good, and the sauces are to die for. If this place had a more central location it would get a lot more support. But use that to your advantage and anytime you're coming into town through 8th street (which you always are) just take a right at 6th Ave. and fill up on some pork.

This is actually a review for October of last year. Cons: Was pretty disappointed with the food. Was heading west and turned back 7 miles on the advice of a gas station attendant. Food was almost room temp. Didn't taste very fresh, like it had been microwaved possibly and was greasy as heck! Serve hot food, get rid of the greasiness, and freshen up ingredients. Pros: The picnic table atmosphere was cool, I like that but there was still some dinginess that could have used a cleaning. They had some homemade sauces that weren't too bad overall. They have the normal selection you would see at a bbq place. Me and the wife shared fries, wings, and ribs and both of us were not impressed.

Wonderful local business that deserves your support. My girlfriend and I decided to try this place out and were not disappointed at all. As soon as you walk into the restaurant you are enveloped by the wonderful scents you can only find in a good BBQ joint. We each got the pork BBQ and were in love at first bite. I couldn't get enough of their housemade sauce and found myself pouring more on after each bite. Both of us were full after just the sandwich and ended up paying less than $10 for everything. Can't even get a crappy fast food meal for less than that. Best BBQ place you can eat at in Huntington.

I had high hopes but let way way down the sides weren't bad not good but edible service sucked attitudes terrible what got was not pulled beef lets not even mention that the meat was literally swimming in a half inch of grease I've seen dog food that looked more appetizing overall wouldn't send my worst enemy here instead of mints they should hand out pepto and tums tablet

Great tasting BBQ and Friendly atmosphere. I tried some of the ribs and I have to say they're the best I've had in the area. These ribs beat Buddy's by a long shot. I will be back!

Their BBQ was so tasty! Loved it and with the vinegar based sauce; it was so good. It left such a great taste in my mouth I just wanted to keep eating! This will definitely be a place I will be going back to again.

Great food and reasonable pricing. I go here at least once a week. The pork BBQ sandwich is delicious.
