PitBull D.
3* overall, based on one visit, and I am going to be generous for now, giving the benefit of the doubt, but plan to return and update. Breakfast appears to be their forte, with eggs, omelettes, hotcakes, breakfast sandwiches, french toast, waffles, sausage gravy over home-made biscuits, and sides of all kinds of meats, including "L'il Smokies" and "Pon Hoss" or Scrapple, and bacon. Lunch is mostly all the usual subs, basic sandwiches, and soup. There is menu of standard side items. As a big fan of RESTAURANT IMPOSSIBLE TV series, one can not help but realize that the limited menu of fried foods and appetizers are frozen, most likely from a restaurant supplier. I had fried haddock, about 5 shrimp, and 5 scallops with steak fries for just under $7 and you can also get crab cakes with baked potato for that price too. Cheap price compared to any fast food, good value, even if mostly prepared by a restaurant supplier and deep fried when ordered. So that's a 2* meal Wife liked what she ordered. She had the BLT and three jumbo wings, which were 3*. Both meals with tax came to $12.17 without drinks, which the owner gave as a courtesy. Service was 4* as the owner was especially concerned that we were enjoying what he served up asking if it met expectations or if there is anything he could do to make it better. We plan to return for a breakfast visit. It's a small place with four tables for two, and a counter with about three stools. The place is newly or recently constructed and appears neat and clean. We will keep a copy of their menu in our car for take-out as it's right on a main route to our rural home, and there is only one other place within 10 miles where you can get anything at all to eat or drink, and that other place is run down and has only one table for eating inside--a place for hunters mostly to have a cup of coffee and snack.
