This is your typical Buffet Style Restaurant, the steak on the buffet was tasty and I went back for seconds, the wait staff was attentive and kept our drinks full. We did enjoy the green beans, and potato salad. The rolls are really yummy. If your looking for Fast, and good, stop here....

Not worth the price. Had the buffet, which did not have much selection. But then again, there isn't much else to eat around there..

Meh. A very average buffet, reminds me of the Ponderosa chain, without the slick graphics. Frankly, a bit overpriced given the area. Then again, given the weight of some of the patrons, maybe not... I went for the Friday night Dinner Buffet with my biker buddies, and for breakfast the next day. The dinner buffet was pretty sub par. They have a tiered pricing system, so when you take a quick glance and see all those choices, understand that the general dinner price does not include all the different bars. Institutional mashed potatoes, thin bits of broiled steak, mac and cheese that tasted as if it came from a 10 lb can, canned green beans that were so over-boiled you could mash them. There were two highlights: The fried chicken was very good, and the dessert bar was also quite nice. They had a hot cobbler, which I topped with ice cream and strawberries. The cold salad bar did have quite a few options, which was nice, but none of the cold items were particularly good. Breakfast the next day was about what you would expect: Eggs, Biscuits and Gravy, bacon, sausage, pancakes. All were done well, but nothing above average. Let's face it: it's hard to screw up breakfast. The lady serving the soda and coffee was very attentive, and made sure we didn't go thirsty. Otherwise, the staff was generally not seen. The best thing about it is its proximity to the Super 8 Motel. Not "bad", as ancient buffet restaurants go, but not particularly good, either. 2 stars.

The food was good. I ordered a medium rare sirloin and it was cooked perfectly. 3 cute girls were working which made for a more pleasant experience. My only problem with the place is that they don't serve beer, which to me is a big deal, I enjoy a beer or two with my steak.

The sign along the highway says Steer Steakhouse, Buffet or Menu. It's pretty much a Sizzlers. The buffet option is ~$12. If you get a drink with it it's another couple dollars. The buffet has typical choices - comfort food (mac n cheese, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, etc), some steamed veggies, yams, ham, steak (sirloin. it was pretty bad), meatballs (but no pasta), fish sticks... includes soup and salad bar, which were nothing great, pretty average, and dessert bar with some cookies, cobbler, ice cream, cake. Ordering from the menu includes soup/salad bar and dessert bar. The ribeye was ~$19. The service was very friendly and attentive. They filled our drinks before we asked. Good meal. Just not sure the food was worth the price.

This place is okay...they are a buffet style steakhouse without any real steak on the buffet...more like roast beef. You can order a big ribeye for about $18 that comes with the salad bar. The steaks from the grill are pretty good, I can't complain. The menu is a bit confusing, they make it look like onions, peppers, and mushrooms are a couple bucks to put on your steak....but be warned they are a couple bucks each! That was a big surprise when I got my bill, however, they give you more topping than any other restaurant I've ever seen. Dessert is also included for free which is pretty good...cake, pie, cookies, ice cream. None of which is worth it's to-go price, but not bad thrown in for free. Salad bar is acceptable. My friend got the buffet option around $14 and he was very pleased with the food and went back for seconds.
