Great food and service! Free onion appetizer for checking in with yelp was extremely good and not greasy! Bread was light and yeasty. Steak cooked and seasoned perfectly.

Came in...excited to have beef. Pretty decent experience at all the other places I have visited so far. This is today's experience.... Hostess MIA, Bartender MIA, nice server sees 3 groups hanging around and works on seating, many messy tables not cleaned up. After about 10 minutes she finds a spot. I am thinking good, the bad is behind. Oh not so... Bad attitude server and just rude. Place not very busy at this time. Let's see if the food is as bad as the service experience. Seems the Manager is MIA too. Quite a few employees walking around. It is now 25 minutes. The 3rd party in the group awaiting seating is still at the hostess desk. The menus available to guests are still the lunch menu. Well I am no longer disappointed. This minute by minute run is quite enjoyable. It is now 30 minutes our dinner is here, but the guy at the entrance is still waiting for the hostess. My wife told our server about the group waiting and she said is it not her job. Clearly defined roles, but below the line based on The OZ Principle. Foods here. Let's see how that goes. Salt, pepper and a-1 to the rescue. If not for them boiled food would be better. Utterly disappointing experience. Oh....no water at the table.

Great food, terrible service. Took them 10 minutes to seat us...there was no waiting line, just no hostess. Took 10 more minutes to get our drinks. Another 10 minutes to order. Another 29 minutes to get our food. Once our waitress noticed my glass was empty, it took 10 more minutes to get a refill. Ten minutes to get our bill. It was the night of ten minute increments. It's always like this, but we keep coming back for the food. Excellent!! They even put red and orange bell peppers in their seasonal vegetables! Yum!!

Food here was good. Service was incredibly slow. The servers were friendly but did not seem to have any urgency. The Ribeye I had was cooked to order. They all but forgot to bring me my salad.

Relatively quiet for a Friday night at 9pm. Being by myself I usually sit at the bar and was suprised that the bar area was devoid of any customers. Just waitresses counting their money. Three TV's in the saloon. Our Friday night programming consisted of Little League baseball, Quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup tennis tournement and Sportscenter on ESPN. Not what I would consider a top shelf board a fair of sports for a Friday night. Wonder what's on the TV's down at Hooters? Ordered a milk while perusing the menu. Decided on the 9 Oz Ribeye with mashed potatoes and a side salad. Requested dressing on the side. Salad was of decent size and was good. Three forks into my salad my steak arrived. It sat there for 10 minutes while I finished my salad. It could have sat for 1 minute or 30 and it would not have helped either way. The potatoes seemed real but were very watery??? And I know that all meat is served by it's pre-cooked weight, but I have never seen such a thin steak. 9 Oz steak was less than 1/2 in thick. Menu says seasoned to perfection, but was very bland. Required A-1 to give it any flavor at all. Bartender asked me if it was cooked right and I said it was because it was med - well. But everything else about the plate was lacking. I did not finish either. The three glasses of milk and 1 Jack and Coke were exceptional! Service was below average. Bartender never introduced himself when I first sat down and the entrée came out way too fast. (Within 3 minutes from time of Salad delivery) At times it seemed as if the discussion behind the bar about their fantasy sports teams was more important than serving customers. The four employees smoking at the side of the building in plain view of customers as I entered was not entirely appealing either. Still hungry I inquired about desert options. No menu provided just a verbal Hershey Brownie and Strawberry Shortcake. I went with the latter. Either a) I have no recollection of what strawberry shortcake is supposed to be or b) I have just witnessed a sheer debacle in desertry. Shortcake layer on the bottom was almost rock hard. Vanilla ice cream middle layer was good top layer of graham cracker mess was......... the 4 pieces of strawberries were razor thin and warm and I had 100 different visions in my head as I ate them and none of them were of strawberries. If you love strawberry shortcake......try the Hershey thing.

Food was good bit it was dead I was the only one at the bar. This place needs to be cleaned up and almost had the feeling that it was running with assistant managers and there was no discipline everything was dirty and grungy I would not eat there again

This place has gone downhill ..placed an order for a steak cooked medium got a steak prepared RARE the server took it back she was back at the table in a minute to a minute and a half with the steak still blood red she took the steak back for a second time by then I was just like whatever it comes back I'm going to try to eat it / horrible full of fat and grizzle ...worst steak ever!! It's really something when the best part of your meal was the appetizer

I like this place. It's really convenient if you're staying at one of the hotels over here. Yelp check in specials rock! Thank you! I recommend the ribs! They are fall off the bone juicy, not to fatty, and barbecued/sauced to perfection. I don't recommend the ribeye if you're looking for a big thick piece of meat. Even though it was tasty but its very thin and prepared perfectly. The atmosphere is very enjoyable.

What a joke. Waited 12 minutes, with no waitress, not even a drink order. Two waitresses passed us up. Got up and left, then called for the manager, they put me in hold for 7 minutes then hung up on me.

When staying at a nearby hotel I was concerned with the local food selections having fairly low ratings, so I chose one of the highest rated at a 2 1/2 star. I have to admit I was a bit concerned when half of the staff was outside smoking upon arrival on the parking lot. Used the free app offer provided by yelp and ordered dinner.. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. The onion petals were plentiful and tasty. I orders the steak it was not the worst or best but was cooked to order and served in a timely fashion. The only negative part of the meal was the 15 minute wait on the check to be redone when it had a charge that shouldn't have been made.

Service was horrible. I went in at 8:20pm, and had to actually go find someone to be seated after standing there for 10 minutes, since the bar was empty. Tried to use the free wifi advertised, only to see it's password protected, no one knew the password. Once seated, the hostess vanished, and 15 minutes later, while she was wandering to the bathroom, I asked her if she could find someone so I could order my food. 10 minutes later my neck tatted up waiter showed to take my order. I asked for a coke and my meal, and finally 30 minutes later, my soda showed up with my order. I asked for medium well steak, and got barely medium, although it tasted fine. I never got a refill, and had to find someone to get my check. The whole time I could hear a large group of employees in the kitchen screwing around, one lone bus boy cleaning up in the dining room. I was one of 4 people in the entire place, and every single person was complaining about the orders to each other. I got disgusted waiting on the manager, so I just paid in full and left, I had better things to do then wait for a person who obviously wasn't doing their job in the first place. Wont be back.

Had dinner here tonight. There is no way I would return. The food was edible, that's about all I'll give them. Service was slow. Waiter seemed confused about multiple things. Bread never arrived even though it 'was coming'. Actually saw our waiter sit on another table while taking someone else's order. The floor was disgusting. Food all over it. A drink spilled and never moped up (over a 45 min period at least). Bathroom... Well, wish I hadn't had to go! Save your money and go elsewhere!

For the past several years, I have always had dinner here while staying overnight at the Days Inn across the street. I had always been satisfied with my meals there and was very surprised by the negative reviews posted about this place. But my most recent visit this past July proved the previous reviews were valid. I sat at the bar but noticed that the place was empty save for three other customers. When I looked at the menu, I was disappointed to see that they no longer offered the prime rib sandwich that I had loved so much in the past. After looking over the other items, I settled on fish tacos (which admittedly weren't too bad although they couldn't compare to the wonderful prime rib sandwich). The service was mostly nonexistent as the bartender spent most of the time with two other guys at the other end of the bar and only checked on me once after he brought me my meal. But the deal-breaker came when I went to pay my check. The total bill was under $10 and I gave the barteneder a $20. He went to the register to cash me out and then told me he didn't have enough change in his drawer and had to go get some. So I sat at the bar and waited another couple of minutes before he came back with my change. The fact that he didn't have enough change to break a $20 should say something about how much business this place does and I personally wonder how much longer they will be around. The next time I'm staying overnight here I'll probably go down the street a little to the Lone Star or the Bob Evans next door. The reviews for those places aren't too stellar either but maybe I'll like them after the last experience I had with Texas Steakhouse.

The food here was so bad, we couldn't eat it. My children ordered chicken tenders and fries... neither child (13 and 15 year old) would/could eat what was served. I ordered the "new" menu item fish tacos- horrible! Worst I've ever had. The service was very slow, considering there was no one else there. Never stopping here again. Very disappointing.

Bar smelled musty. Server was nice but clueless. Floor dirty Classic example of poorly managed restaurant (I'm former restaurant manager so I have some insight).

Was there 3/15 for dinner around 7:30....wasn't crowded and after eating there, can see why. And the service was horrible. Our waitress apologized for being "slammed"..... Let's just say hopefully she will never experience that or she'll quit! Seemed kinda dirty and the food was less than desirable. For a chain, you usually know what your getting.....not so here! Don't waste your time or money!

I dont know how "texas" this place is but the size of their sandwiches are pretty big. The burger had 2 patties, cheese, bacon, and onion rings on it the only complaint I have is with the secret sauce, which is Green Goddess dressing, this was odd and definitely not Texas. My friend had the chicken sandwich which came with 2 half breast pieces. Both were cooked over a grill and had good grill marks and nice crunchy bits. The place itself was in bad condition: rips in the seats, and everything looked like it had not been washed down in awhile. Perhaps take-out is the way to go as the food was good and reasonably priced.
