People tell me the breakfast is good here; maybe we should have went here for that instead of dinner. Our party ordered the hot wings, bbq wings, teriyaki wings, fries, and sausage pizza. I would not recommend this place for wings or pizza. The flavor of the wings sauce needs work, especially the teriyaki. The teriyaki sauce almost tasted like the ingredient liquid smoke was added to it. The sauce for the pizza was very bland, almost like it was canned mashed up tomatoes. Maybe add some oregano or basil? A little salty Romano/ Parmesan ?

Awesome wings and great tacos! Good beer selection and a friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to come back and try more stuff!

Update: still good food but they are starting to cut corners. A burger should come with more fries, and this isn't the first time that portions have been skimpy.

The long kept secret of Waukesha, WI. You would never guess from the look of this place that they serve amazing fresh cooked food. The cheese sauce they put on breakfasts is what I dream about. I would eat it off a car bumper. They have great wings and very good dinner specials. There's always something new to try. The place is immaculately clean and the staff is always friendly. If you want a new place to try, go to Fuzzy's. You'll be happy :)

My first time at Fuzzy's was to refuel on Black Friday. Stopped in for breakfast and a Bloody Mary and was pleasantly surprised. If I lived closer, I would be here more often! Full review at outforbloodies.com .

Great place for a local feel and to enjoy breakfast! Staff is great! Only problem is if you have to wait for a table and the bar is packed. Go early on the weekends!

Fact: Fuzzy's has good breakfast. If you're looking for a brunch and you are not into driving all the way out to Brookfield and waiting 2 hours come here instead. If we are lucky they will get the new Fuzzy's across town by the bowling alley to serve breakfast. Wishful thinking?

I heard fuzzys has a good breakfast a n a $3 boldly Mary on Sunday so I went. I'm not usually in a bar before 7am drinking but today I was. They were open before the 7am posted hours so I went in. The place had people at the bar before 7am as I walked in and sat down. The place had a small bar and high tables and chairs with lower tables against one wall. Flat screens with sports were on the walls. This place is small and was starting to fill with older people just after 7am and were regulars. I liked the whole idea of breakfast in a local bar. The woman working the bar came over and took my order, I had the meat lovers skillet special and the Bloody Mary. See the pictures. I asked her to wait 10 minutes before putting my order in so I could enjoy my bloody. The bloody was spicy with a lemon, celery, olive, mushroom, pepperoncini, pickle and a beef stick. Over all it was good and not the best I ever had. My special arrived and hit the table which was hash browns, bacon, sausage, ham, 2 sunny side eggs, cheese covered with a white cheese sauce and white toast. I have never seen such a plate, see the picture. It all worked very well and I liked it. The whole combination was really tasty and worked very well together. This was a good breakfast and I just found out about it. This is a Waukesha secret that needs to get out. Overall it was a great breakfast and when the check came for a total of $12.60 for everything I was surprised, what a deal. Fuzzys will get put on the list of must go breakfast places. Two thumbs up.

We've only tried the breakfast here, but it is really, really tasty. Typical Wisconsin tavern atmosphere, but the breakfast items are first rate, especially the french toast (with real maple syrup) and the spanish omelets. Nice beer selection available as well, if you are into that in the morning.

Best breakfast around. Ham is delicious. French toast is also very good. Friends have had the scramblers and loved them. Had lunch there once and it was very good too. Burgers are huge.

Delicious food, great Bloody Mary, very friendly waitstaff- will come back! I recommend getting the chorizo with your breakfast, so good!

There seems to be a real lack of breakfast restaurants in Waukesha so when I read decent reviews on Fuzzy's, we were off and running. Stopped in for breakfast on our way back to Chicago. I had the skillet and my spouse had the morning bread french toast with bacon. The portions were HUGE and the food was tasty, warm and comforting on a chilly morning. The prices were very reasonable, 6.99 for 4 large pieces of french toast with 4 slices of bacon. My skillet was around 8 bucks and it came with tons of hashbrowns, eggs, veggies, bacon, cheese sauce and a toasted biscuit. Oh and on the plus side, they have coke products.

My husband and a friend of ours went into Fuzzy's a few weeks ago as we had heard great things about the breakfast and were looking to get a bloody mary. We walked in and sat down at an open table as there was no "Please Wait To Be Seated" sign or hostess when we walked in. After all, it's a bar (as other reviewers can attest)... Typically it's first come first serve for a table or you belly up the the bar. Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to sample any food or beverages at Fuzzy's because we were very rudely told that we needed to vacate our seats and get on a waiting list by a waitress who has no business being in the hospitality industry. We apologized for our ingnorance as we'd never been to this establishment and she simply replied with a snotty "Uh Huh!". We left immediately and instead went to Jackson's Pabst Blue Ribbon Pub in Downtown Waukesha. We had great food and great service.

Always have a good time here the food is great and the staff is even better! The pancakes are some of the biggest I have ever seen def perfect for sharing. Tips tho do not go on a Saturday or Sunday morning and expect to be seated. It's a mad house with people trying to get some great meals but if you don't like crowds or loud talking do on a week day morning to get a non chaotic feel for the place :)

Went there for the first time on recommendations from several friends. The place isn't much to look at, inside or out. Service is decent. But the food is outstanding. Way above my expectations. I will definitely be going back.

The first time my family and I went to Fuzzy's was on Mother's Day when we were in town for a half marathon I had run the day before. Despite the small space and the level of busyness , we didn't have to wait long. We loved it so much we went back last Sunday on our way home from Milwaukee after I spent a considerable amount of time figuring out what the name was because I wanted to go back so badly. I had a Bloody Mary and a mimosa, and both were great. My son ordered two pancakes, and our server Christy said they're huge, do you want one? He agreed, but I could tell he didn't believe her. Well, it's a good thing he listened. It was about 15 inches wide, AND it was really thick and fluffy. He didn't make it all the way through, but says it was really good. Anyway, our food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, and the service was very friendly and attentive. We will most certainly stop again.

Best breakfast in Waukesha! Fuzzys has some sort of cheese sauce they pour on pretty much anything your heart may desire. Sometimes I think my heart my stop while eating it but its well worth the risk. My personal favorites are the billy breakfast burrito and tostada my breakfast. Dont forget onions in your hash browns!

Great food! You wouldn't know it from looking at the building bit it's a great place that's reasonably priced! Try the cinnamon roll French toast (can't remember the exact name, but you must try!)

Enjoyed a recent stop on chicken wing Thursday! Would most likely stop in here over BW3 on a Thursday night.

I LOVE Fuzzy's. Wings are quite plump over at Fuzzy's, and they are twenty cents on Thursdays! The BBQ wings are the BEST, and the hot wings are amazing as well. They have very reasonably priced pitchers of beer (including craft!). I walked out for less than $15 dollars having eaten a dozen wings and drinking several craft beers. What a great place. Great service, ample amounts of TVs to watch the game, and the best wings I've tasted in a while. Great job Fuzzy's, I will be back!

For a real honest hometown bar with a great menu (basic, but well-made fresh quality ingredients and awesome special event food/complimentary snacks--), awesome weekday food specials, a slammin' Saturday and Sunday brunch, a full bar of the good-ol' American standards, and some of the best waitresses/bartenders around, try Fuzzy's. Clean friendly foodservice, modern interior, and one heck of a sports game watching haven. Watch for their fun events, too!

Thank you Yelp! I made the trip up north for a few hours and decided some local food was on my list! I read some great reviews about breakfast, so I went there around 10am. Its a Bar & Grill with a small bar, small indoor seating area and great little outdoor area to eat at. The girl working the bar greeted me with a smile, quick menu, and even quick beer(yes, 1st breakfast beer of my life, LakeFront-RiverWest Amber-Good) She mentioned the Chicken Breakfast Burrito Special, sounded good so I ordered it. I also wanted some pancakes so I ordered 2. She quickly said; They are THIS BIG(and held her hands out to a 12" size) I said, OK....I will take one! Good thing too, this thing was HUGE, and hands down the best pancake I have ever had(Not that I am a Pro on this) Hash Browns were basic, but that perfect kind of shredded basic I will take any day as opposed to places that try too hard. Chicken burrito was good, but nothing WILD, still hit the SPOT! Great company in there as I quickly struck up a conversation with the 3 locals sitting at the bar. This place is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth stopping by. I only wish I had tried some more goodies while I was there, or been able to go back later for a Burger! Will I drive 1hr30min to go there JUST for food? No. Will I make a point of going there if I'm in the vicinity? YES! Will I recommend it to people? FOR SURE!!! I would love to tag this place 5 Stars, but after 1 meal, I can't do that!

First of all... yes this is a bar and as such not necessarily the place for kids. However the food here is fantastic. The breakfast menu is definately a favorite of my husband and I and their skillets are fabulous with their homemade cheese sauce (similar to a hollandaise). The one major drawback is the seating... as this is a bar the only seating is on bar stools and high tables. While some may like this I find it really irritating to a bad knee to have it dangling there the entire time we are eating so often we will take our food to go. However the beer selection is excellent, the waitresses are very friendly and give great service even if there is a wait sometimes. The food is fantastic with excellent breakfast and great burgers. Give this place a try and I guarantee you won't be disappointed... just be warned of the stools.

  • Chris L.

Chaos. Walked in looking for a table. Stood around for 10 minutes and no one had even acknowledged we were there. Couldn't get our name on the wait list, though people calling in had no problem. Second time we've walked out of here. We won't be back.

Although I read the reviews, I didn't have high expectations. We decided to try this on a Sunday at brunch time and it was packed. Upon arrival we put our names in for a table but ended up with seats at the bar. Service couldn't have been better and the food was amazing. Additionally our fellow patrons were a blast! There were three of us who dined and we all had the country skillets. Two guys also shared a side pancake and it was huge - referred to as a manhole cover from the regulars! The skillets were super filling and the homemade cheese sauce was delectable! I hate to say, "give it a try" because I'd like to see it kept a hidden gem but clearly the word is already out! Just don't tell Guy Fieri cause once Diner's Drive In's and Dive's televises someplace like this inevitably prices go up and quality goes down. Go enjoy and keep it our little secret!

We are locals who recently discovered what we thought was a great new Waukesha desitnation. We went there four weeks ago and have returned several times. That is until today, we had breakfast and sat out in the patio area. While diining we were subject to three people smoking near our table. The staff didn't seem to care when we got up to leave and didn't even apologize or thank us for over 20% tip I gave the server. I since called the number on the receipt (fyi it's wrong) and then was told the owner is never there consitently and there was no way I could find out a time to speak with her. Doubtful we'll ever go back and by the way Fuzzy's the statue on smoking says anyone smoking must be 25ft from the door of your establishment or windows. The people smoking by us were less than 5 feet from the door and there was an open window right next to where they were standing. I guess you care more about your smoking customers than a table of people spending money on your food.

Love fuzzy's! Breakfast is out of this world. Get anything with the cheese sauce or one of their specials and you can't go wrong!

Decent prices, large portions. I had the country skillet and my husband had the Pecan French Toast. We enjoyed them both but neither blew our socks off. I've definitely had better coffee!

Love this place.....whether I want breakfast or lunch, it's always great! I lvoe the skillet breakfast....but get the sauce on the side They recently updated, adding windows....made it a lot more open. It's got sort of a sportsbar theme, although it's basically a local hangout. Service is always fast and friendly.

Meals are always pretty good. Service can be good at times, but it depends on who your server is.

I am from out of town and in Waukesha for a sports program this weekend. My wife and I enjoyed a comfortable, relaxed dinner at Fuzzy's and had a good time and a good meal. This is a hometown, neighborhood bar with a reasonable menu that's got more choices than many bars, and better quality than most. We chose to stick with burgers (I had the patty melt - with 3 cheeses and chopped onions on a marble rye bread, my wife had a special California burger with guacamole, bacon and cheese.) The burgers came with a choice of soup or salad or fries, and we both chose the Cheddar and Brat soup. Great choice - the thick soup was full of sliced brats and loaded with sauerkraut. This was a homemade soup that couldn't be found elsewhere - and although I am not sure something this thick and full of fresh ingredients was a "soup", it was probably the best soup that I've had in years. It was close to a stew. We had a couple of beers - all local from Wisconsin that and enjoyed our evening at the bar. Fuzzy's is a fun place with local flavors and very reasonable prices.

Great neighborhood feel. Staff is friendly and it's smoke free. Burgers are excellent and filling. If you're passing through, stop by Fuzzy's!

To be fair, I've only ever eaten breakfast at Fuzzy's. I've wanted to go there for other meals, it's just never happened. But if the other meals are anything like their breakfast, I'm sure it's outstanding! I've tried a few different things for breakfast and have never been disappointed. When I'm in the mood for pancakes or French toast, I order the pecan French toast with sausage. They take cinnamon pecan rolls and dunk them in French toast batter and grill them. It's fantastic!!! When I'm in the mood for eggs and hashbrowns, I get the Rocky Mountain. They have this amazing Mexican cheese sauce which is beyond delicious! Love it! If I were forced to give one negative about Fuzzy's, it would be that they don't have enough room. They need to expand or move to a bigger place. It's become quite popular and if you go during the morning rush, it's tough to get a seat and there really isn't room to wait. It's crowded...but I would rather go to a crowded restaurant and know it's good than to be the only customer sitting in a restaurant, wondering why I'm the only customer sitting in that restaurant :)

BEST WINGS!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE FUZZY's! We have only ever gone on Tuesday Nights (for wings +) but have heard nothing but Awesomeness about Sunday Brunch (we keep meaning to go, but sleeping in is just too rewarding on Sundays) HOT WINGS are AMAZING - honestly some of the best bone in wings I've ever had - seriously! The Sandwiches are Great although my favorite is the Burger with the Mountain of Onion Straws on it (the "Mean Jean" I think it's called) and Onion Straws can be ordered as an Appetizer - OMG - everytime we are there someone orders a 1/2 order and it is literally a Mount Everest Platterful - just crazy large! ALLY our Server is a DOLL! She takes care of us just swimmingly!! (Sorry, If I spelled her name wrong .. i.e. it could have an "E") I've never seen anyone waitress as fantastic as she does - as this place is PACKED! You have to get there early (or after 8) because it is so popular - Good Food = Popular places!! And it is 10000% Worth it!

  • EatWisconsin ..

If you can get past the smoke, Fuzzy's has some of the best breakfasts in Waukesha County and a the what I consider the best burger in Waukesha. Breakfast fare is hearty, filling, and carries no pretense of healthiness. I have pretty mush worked my way through the menu and have yet to be disappointed. My favorite is the Billy Breakfast Burrito or the Tostada My Breakfast which has grilled tortillas with refried beans, chorizo, eggs, onions, peppers, hash browns and cheese. The pub burger is perfectly cooked, juicy and big, all admirable traits for a burger. You'd be hard pressed to find a better burger in Waukesha. If you like your eggs with a side of misogyny, plop down at the bar where you can watch the over-served regulars make suggestive and outright offensive comments to the much younger female bartenders and waitresses. Its not a MENSA meeting by any means but anytime you can watch 60 year old drunks attempt to hit on 21 year old bartenders, entertainment ensues. I am surprised more drinks don't end up in the face of these patrons. For a more relaxed and casual setting, sit in the "dining room" area. Fewer people smoke here and its easier to carry on a conversation. Waitresses are friendly and quick. No matter what time of day you eat here, you will reek of smoke when you leave. Fewer people smoke in the morning so it won't bother you when you are in there but as soon as you are in the comfort of your own car you will realize you smell like you spent the night in a tavern.

Wonderful pub with outstanding food. Known for its great breakfast, friendly service and hometown pride. My personal experience came last month when a friend died. The owner and his chef personally put together numerous food items and delivered them to the after funeral. I would say that make them a 5 star in my book. They know how to make people feel like family and welcome every customer the same!

This is the place that my uncles and their cronies that they have known for 50 years go for breakfast every week. I was in town so I checked it out. Good breakfasts, cheap by Bay Area prices, very nice waitress. The only thing that bugged me was I felt I was eating in a bar which is what it is, a bar. I like Christina's better, and being from Cali I can't get over the cigarette smoke I am not used to it anymore.
