So I'm back in Wisconsin again, and Friday night was the night I came back for beers & some grindz! The Seven of us jumped into the company van & headed to no other than - BISMARCK'S Main Street Bar & Grill! Let me tell you gang, there is no better place to be on a Friday night in Watertown, Wisconsin! The place was packed, but lucky for us we were able to secure two small tables for us to sit, drink, and grab a little grub. For my meal this past Friday, I ordered the Fish Platter ($8.75) and the nice friendly waitress told me it was all you can eat fish too! Yay!!!! I also ordered a large Combination Platter to share with the guys, where you can choose 3 items from their appetizer list, to make the combination platter ($9.00). I picked some Chicken Wings, Fries, & a Jalapeno Cream Cheese Poppers. I must say, the food prices here are very reasonable. I think we all drank like a gallon of beer here! Lol! But don't worry..........we had a designated driver. We like to drink, but we are responsible too! Lol! I also got to play some shuffle board with the guys (that was fun), & my friend hustled a dude on the basketball shooting game. I think the other guy got a little pissy about losing, but his friend was cool, & came by to talk to us at our table and even bought us a round of shots! How cool was that! :) Overall, a cool spot to chill & have a few. I will be back again if ever I'm in Watertown, Wi..

Avoid this bar! 11am on a Saturday, visiting Watertown for my daughter's dance competition, and my wife and I walk in. No visible bartender and the cook clearly believes that customer service is "not his job". The bartender is also the server but doesn't acknowledge us at all, when she eventually gets back behind the bar. No open sign outside, dark and unfriendly inside. I think the just want regulars and don't like outsiders.

I've eaten here a few times. Great atmosphere, great service & great food. Their burgers are delicious and the all-you-can-rest fish fry is one of my favorites in the area.

Very clean restrooms! Friendly and helpful staff. Seems like a fun bar :) Even at 3pm on a Saturday. Looking forward to coming back.

We called ahead to reserve the back game room for 35-40 players, parents, and friends following our baseball team's game at Washington Park just down the road. When we arrived the tables were cleaned and available thanks to RESERVED signs that were placed there. While the service was understandably slower than you'd like (image 40 hungry people all looking for bar food and drinks at the same time) the staff could not have been more accommodating, friendly, and helpful. In time (thanks to our waitress, Amber), all the orders were filled (correctly) and we had a terrific night. Here are some of the comments overheard from our parents: * the Chef Salad and Chicken Salad (with breaded chicken and a wonderful jalapeno ranch dressing) seemed to steal the show. * the burgers got rave reviews from the players. * awesome onion rings. * and the prices were very reasonable. Thank you Bismarck for helping the Norwood Blues celebrate their accomplishments at the Waterford Tri-State Classic. We hope to be back soon.

Great place for a beer and a something to eat. I had a burger that was very good. Although the waitress was very busy she was friendly and made us feel very much at home. I would suggest the Bismarck as a place for anyone as I was there with my 11 year old son on a Saturday afternoon and we felt very comfortable. I would definitely come back again in the future and would recommend to my friends.

Went to this place with my family of 5 and it was probably the worst food and service I have ever had. Nachos on the menu was just a cup of nasty cheese out of the can, a cup of jalapeños and a cup of sour cream all on the side with chips. Our food took over 45 minutes to come to us(now remember all fried food here)and the fries were cold for all of us and the main sandwiches all over cooked. U know, the length of time where u consider staying or going or yelling at the waitress. There were maybe 20 people in the bar on a Saturday afternoon. Not sure about the people giving this good reviews.

I'm sad to say that this place did not live up to it's ratings here. Eight of us went there for dinner and drinks. Here's the positive: We had a very good server. My food tasted good, even though it wasn't made as I requested. Here's the negative: Not one person in the party was happy with their food. Several in the party had fish and chips. The fish was processed (like a large fish stick) and WAY overcooked. They looked like miniature fish bricks. They were out of Merlot. Hot wings were not hot - they were just fried chicken wings - battered, fried wings. I ordered a wrap with NO MAYO, but there was still mayo on it. Weird thing is their credit card machine has a chip reader, so you have to put a PIN in instead of a signature. The server said there was no way to add a tip. This can't be correct. Surely, they just don't know how to work it right? Anyway, we had to cough up all the cash we could gather in order to pay the tip.

Love the micro brewery beers! Usually great service too. Super hamburgers and sweet potato fries! But I am not a fan of their fish fry. Their fish was super thin. Once it is fried it seems to disappear in the batter. As a chef this is an easy fix yet with the complaints it goes on and on. With my hand on the bible I swear the fish more than once was thinner than a line you draw with a pencil. Meanwhile, the breading was enough for four-xs the order. Please, please fix the fish fry! It will be waiting room only on Fridays! I guarantee!
