Amazing broasted chicken! If you visit any day besides a Friday or Saturday go with the chicken. If you go on a Friday try the fish fry or even better the fish boil. The fish boil is only available once a month. And on Saturday you must have the prime rib, it's big enough to feed a few. All of their soups are homemade and delicious. If you are looking for cold beer and good food this is the spot. It's not a four star restaurant but you won't complain about the food.
We discovered this little gem on a road trip to stock up on our favorite New Glarus Beer. We crossed just beyond the Cheddar Curtain and found Kelly's Pub. Kelly's Pub is a friendly, comfortable, rural pub & grill that is a perfect spot to wet your whistle and grab a bite. Friendly customers and folks behind the bar make you feel right at home even if you are a first timer. What sets Kelly's apart from other country taverns is the food. My wife and I ordered the lake perch dinner. I ordered them with potato pancakes and the wife had the crinkle-cut fries. The fish was perfectly prepared with a light, puffy batter. The potato pancakes were A-OK and not the slightest greasy. Even the cole slaw was crisp, fresh and had a nice peppery flavor. The icing on the cake is Spotted Cow on tap - Yeah! To sum it up, Kelly's has great food, friendly atmosphere and service, and great prices. Kelly's Pub is a great excuse for a road trip. We'll be back.
Have been here multiple times and have enjoyed the dining area and the bar on different trips. This place is very friendly and I have yet to have something to eat that wasn't good. Their burgers are very good. These are highly recommended. My most recent trip my friend and I had the broasted chicken and potatoes. Both of these were very good. The chicken serving was huge and hot. We went on a weeknight and we were the only ones there using the dining area. We still were waited on in a timely manner and had the space to ourselves which was kind of nice. This is a great place to grab some dinner and I will definitely continue to visit!

I've been here twice. Both times we had very poor service, even though there were very few people in the restaurant. The Staff are not well trained, do not know the menu, do not know the wines (and if you have a wine list your staff should be trained on the difference between a Pinot Noir and a merlot) and served my drink by putting her fingers over the top of the glass.. My steak was overcooked - and the mushrooms were in chunks, obviously canned and really foul. My husbands wine was turned (it literally had bits in it) and you could smell it was bad- I'm amazed the bartender didn't notice. His pasta was ok. The second time we went we had pizza and it was so undercooked we sent it back. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone...
Taco Tuesdays are the BEST!! I love the chicken tacos. Friendly staff and usually very fast service. Free wifi, and a great place to watch any sporting event. Good stuff.
Went with a group of people a few weeks ago and found the service to be friendly. Ordered the BLT pizza and it was fantastic! Kudos to the chef. Going back tomorrow for lunch.

The menu prices are scary at first. Everything is pretty much $15-20 for what you think you could get elsewhere for $8-12. But then you find out it comes with soup AND Salad, and they give you fresh bread and some spreadable cheese for the bread or crackers AND then dessert. It is a solid place to go for food and a drink or two.
Terrific place to go for a family get-together. I highly recommend the Friday fish fry -- and don't miss the potato pancakes. Other good choices are ribs and the filet mignon -- make it your own by adding crumbled blue cheese and one of a variety of tasty sauces (burgundy brown sauce is my choice). I was also pleasantly surprised a few weeks ago when on a Saturday night, they were featuring mahi mahi. It was delicious. My wife and I usually go here a few times a month and have never been disappointed. If you are going on a Friday (especially during Lent), make sure you call ahead for a reservation or it may be 9pm before you can get a table. Those of us up here is 'sconi sure love our fish fry ; )
Went here for Easter dinner. It was excellent. They start you off with some Merkt's cheese and crackers. That's just to keep you busy until the food starts coming out. And the food was very good. Our table had a variety of foods and all were very tasty. Fish, steak, pork chops and turkey. I would recommend all of them. And the restaurant itself is very quaint. It's an old house that has some history. It used to be a beet farm and the farm hands would all eat in the home. The bar is what was probably originally the dining room and the main dining room was probably the original living room/parlor. There's a big room downstairs as well. Not quite as charming but probably had to be added as this place appears to be quite popular. All the furnishings are colonial and the waitresses even wear country style dresses with full aprons. Will definitely go back to this place.

A slight problem with a recent order was handled very kindly by the owner of the business. I can't stress how much effort the owner of Pizza Time took to reach out to me. Great pizzas, courteous delivery, as always, and I've been ordering for the past two years. Looking forward to many more.
First time here and although I have yet to eat the food, I am turned off my the rudeness of the staff. The 2 ladies working were very snotty when asked a simple question.

I've probably been here a dozen times over the past few years. Most recently I was here April 2nd. My wife was having some girlfriends over to the house, so I ventured out for dinner. I had a top notch burger, and some of the best fries in southeastern Wisconsin. I need to come here more often.

There must be something good about this place, because when we arrived the parking lot was full and the place was packed. That being said we didn't actually stay to get any food. We were waiting for a table when the young waiter and waitress exchanged some words, apparently they were not having a good day. Anyway, the waitress then threw the towel used for wiping the tables on the floor in front of all the customers. That was enough for us. We decided to try another place that has happier staff and higher cleanliness standards.
A fun country drive to get to this location! The food was good...my only complaint is that there is a lot of smoking going on in this restaurant. Depending on where you sit...it may be hard to enjoy your meal. Everything was so good and cheap...we ended up ordering two breakfasts for each of us...just to try the food. They also have this amazing Monster Omlete on the menu...it is like 7.5 pounds and if you finish it...it is free. The day we were there some guy who had finished one in the past was attempting to finish his second...I think he gave up...what a let down...quitter!!! I would love to see a show of Man vs Food here...that Monster Omlete is huge!!! I can hardly wait until the WI smoking ban kicks in July 2010 because I will be back to eat here...maybe even tackle the Monster...I said maybe!!!
I want to start by saying, I really wanted to like this place. my fiancé and I came here on a Saturday morning after our usual spot was jam packed. as you walk in the door it seems like a nice little family diner we were seated, 15 minutes went by until a young lady came to our table (right before that I noticed that young lady arguing with another young lady and pointing to our table-- must have been a miscommunication of who was going to wait on us) pink Floyd was blasting through the speakers, and im not talking normal pink Floyd, im talking high on drugs flying around your living room pink Floyd. loud enough that we had to lean over the table to talk to one another. like someone said before the cleanliness is questionable at best. we were almost ready to walk out but wanted to hold out until we got our food. our waitress was nice and apologized for the wait, took our drink orders. I ordered a chocolate milk and my fiancé ordered orange juice. my milk was luke-warm and tasted like soap her juice was fine we ordered a regular bacon and egg breakfast with hashbrowns, the hashbrowns were so soggy with grease they weren't worth eating the bacon was burnt....that's right... the bacon.... say it aint so the eggs were alright, I mean... how can you screw up eggs? all in all I left with a sour taste in my mouth, this time it wasn't the milk I would not recommend this café. others I've talked to have had the same experience as me. I hope they've changed but I don't think I'm willing to give it a second chance after our experience.
