It's location in dead shopping mallleft my expectations easily exceeded. It was both worst than expected and better than expected. Thefood was tasty but not Mexican by my taste , neither hot or spicy .The place was packed (though being right across from the cinema probably helped) I can't recommend this place, but then I can't say that I have had any food recommendations in Superior WI...my recommendation is to go to Duluth!

The food was very disappointing. The chips didn't seem to be home made and the salsa had a smokey, stale taste and didn't taste fresh. I had a burrito that was decent enough but the chicken was over done and flavorless. We did have a great waiter who was prompt and very attentive. We had 2 5 year olds in our group and he made sure they were all set. Absolutely no complaints on the service.

Now I haven't been to the Guad for a while now but my last two experiences were ridiculous. I went here for my mom's birthday a few years back and long story short, cockroaches were crawling up the wall. We told our server but she didn't say anything to the owners. I looked at the styrofoam carry out box and there was roach fecal matter on the hinge. The roaches had obviously set up shop in the big stack of carry out boxes on the bar. I went back once more after that for Cinco de Mayo for drinks only....more roaches.

Authentic Mexican restaurant. Has a wide variety of selections on the menu that I was impressed by. Serves beer (both American and imported), wines, and liquor drinks as well. The beef they used tasted strange to me, making the enchiladas subpar. The chalupas are very good though.

Even for Wisconsin, this is awful Mexican food! The staff was really nice, except for when they charged us for an entree we didn't order (we ordered something similar, but less expensive). Language barrier put a sour taste in my mouth (which was already suffering from the meal)!
