Best place to come after having a night out on the town. Amazing mexican food and nice service. Perfectly priced. Awesome way to either start or end the night!

Easily the worst restaurant experience I've had in a long, long time. I would be surprised if this place is still open in a year. I joined a table of 10 or so, and the staff was overwhelmed. There were only 3 other tables in use, so this should not have been such a problem. Everyone was complaining about how long it took to get served a drink; mine was served right away, but my margarita was half the size of the others on the table. Server had asked if I wanted salt; I said yes, but no salt on the glass. After that, the server disappeared. I waited a half hour, then asked the cashier to bring water and chips. Never got it. I was there over an hour before our orders were taken, then another hour to get food to the table. One guest never got hers. It was not worth the wait. Way oversalted; I needed two glasses of water when I got home and I don't usually drink much before bedtime. Gastly. If I could give it negative stars I would.

Second best Mexican Restaraunt in town. Food is always great and fast! They seem to care about their employees and customers too!

Stopped here roughly 6 months ago and thought everything was pretty good except for how long it took to get the apps, food, and bill. Thought we'd go back and try it again so we ordered some lunch their recently. We tried the Queso appetizer which came out as a block of cheese we had to cut with a knife and fork (still OK) but not queso, then we shared a appetizer platter which was OK, the tamales weren't very good but everything else on the plate was tasty. The nachos with salsa they serve while you wait (and trust me you'll wait) were delicious. The waitress was very friendly and attentive however we waited 40 minutes to get our Queso appetizer, I think start to finish it took 1:15 for a queso appetizer and an appetizer tray... TOO LONG!!!

I like this place but have only been during lunch. I am a huge Chile Relleno fan - but do not care for those as the cheese is a drier non-melting cheese and they tend to be extremely oil saturated. BUUUUT - their huevos rancheros and tamales are good. Best tamales i have found in town. Not dry, full of flavor and spices. I love their guacamole too. Its fresh tasting and seems to be made from scratch to order. Left somewhat chunky (one time they missed smashing a half an avocado, which I love) and full of flavor. Plus they have street style tacos, what else do you need? Because it is a smaller diner - I do not think it would be good for large groups. They seem to have a limited wait staff, family mostly.

Pretty good little place. Typical Mexican. Food was cheap. Margaritas were excellent! Would definitely go here again!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
