Maybe it's because I live in a big city with lots of options....but everyone seemed to point to Frankie's as the best place in Sheboygan to get a burger so I stopped in on my way to the Packers game yesterday. Not impressed. At all. Sure, the bun is huge. But it's called a hamburger....the meat should be the star of the show....and the burger quality here was poor. It was completely overwhelmed by the bun, and not very flavorful. No wonder we were the only 2 people in there during lunch time on a friday.

This is a really nice hole-in-the-wall type bar with some great food. I had heard the burgers were huge, but it really takes a stop in to believe it. I had a half with a bowl of chili, and I struggled to finish. The burger is good....the bun is great!!! The buffalo chicken sandwich my friend got look amazing! Its definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Get the tempura-battered smelt fry. It's amazingly delicious and cheap. Spent a long day fishing and was in to mood for some fish and stopped here. They serve food until midnight and the bartender is a super-friendly girl. We tried the fried cod and fried perch too but smelt was by far the best of the three and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Typical hole in the wall bar but I like it. Enjoy going for a burger but wish they didn't pre-butter the buns. Not my thing. Apparently that's what they do in Sheboygan.

They really are as big as your head! I suggest sharing one for up charge, hard to finish. The sandwhiches are served on Sheboygan hard roll, excellent choices.

When I first walked into the restaurant, I found something shady about the it. First off, there was a statue of a man that was really realistic and it totally freaked me out. Since there weren't any seats in the front part of the place, we had to go down a very long hallway that we had to go through and i found it quite eerie. The service was a little sloppy and slow, but the food was actually quite good. The burgers were huge! The facility was pretty clean but it was very outdated. Im mainly judging this place for the food. I would have given it 5 stars but it was very eerie and slow.

I love this bar! The owner is pretty sweet too! There's nothing like one of these big ass sandwiches to build a foundation while you get lit. Gotta stop by here if you're in town!

Burgers (and other sandwiches) as big as your head! That's what the menu advises, and it is very true! They must have special Sheboygan hard rolls made in 12-inch size; so, if your aren't starving or training for an eating contest, expect to take some home. They also LOVE bacon! Lots and lots of BACON! The BLT has a pound of it...no dieters please! They have a great selection of beers that change with the season. And service is excellent, the bartender(owner?) even came to the back room to take our meal orders (sign says to ask bartender for food order). Decor is 1950's Rat Pack and movie photos/posters, with a life size model of a famouse Chicago gangster at the piano. FUN!

Don't say domestic beer is $3 during happy hour and not call New Glarus "not domestic" Maybe change it to "macro brew" or something else to distinguish. Otherwise the Friday Fish Fry was acceptable, had the perch and halibut combo plate. Neither really stood out, the perch was a little thinner than I'm use to but that might of just been the fish.

Awesome beer list, kid friendly, nice staff. Would revisit again, especially to try Brisket night!

Really surprised by this local pub- excellent sandwiches. Blue burger was incredible, the buffalo chicken sandwich was tasty, hot ham & cheese was very meaty and the shrimp po'boy was to die for. Bloody Mary's are on the mark as well! Very friendly staff.

Best Broasted Chicken!!! Seriously da bomb-diggity! Always have a tapper that I like that isn't Miller or Budweiser and we can bring our 6 year old here! Always have had good service. The bar tender does it all, but they are always friendly:)

Stopped in with the family on Friday evening for dinner. The food is excellent (seems like fresh homemade!) and the servings are generous. We loved the wonton wrapped mozzarella sticks as the appetizer. The chili was great, too. The boys split a Frankie Burger and could only eat half (and they loved it!) - it was huge!. I had the fried perch and it was good. We will definitely stop back. Oh, and the service was great, too,

This is exactly what we were looking for! The burger was huge so my son and I split it. He said it was the best burger he has ever had and I think I agree! The fries are awesome too!

Oh Frankie's. The food is amazing. If you haven't had a burger, beware to share. (maybe with more than one other person). Jesse (owner/bartender) is always nice but my brother is there every weekend so he might be biased towards our group. The bloody mary's are really delicious with the bacon vodka. Stayed here till almost bar close one night with only four other people in the bar and had one of the best times I have ever had. Definitely worth something to check out for dinner and drinks!

Big burgers served on very large flaky sheboygan hard rolls. the burgers are large enough for two. but of course if it's your first time here you won't believe that and will order a burger just for yourself and some fries to boot, and then stuff yourself silly trying to finish it all. the burgers are very good, and the fries are excellent, very crunchy from whatever secret mix they are dipped in. Frankies itself is a nice neighborhood bar, real friendly place. great place for a lunch stop.

I really like this place. Reasonably priced drinks, nice pub ambiance, friendly bartenders and the BEST French fries in town.
