Five of us stopped for lunch on a Wednesday. We all enjoyed the friendly staff and the general ambiance. The chicken salad was so-so at best, but we really liked the grilled chicken sandwich, burgers, side salad, potato salad, and especially the fries. They say they make everything on premises and it seemed that way. Would definitely go back.

Ate lunch here last time I was in town. It was a passable family style breakfast. Nothing too special but it did the job. Service was fine.

Atmosphere was nice, if a little rustic for my taste. Service was fine, but the scram and ham was too salty and the hollandaise sauce tasted too much like velveeta. Cold Sun Drop in a bottle is always a treat though.

Farm Inn On Main is the best restaurant in the Shawano area. If your looking for Farm style home cooking then look no further!!

There should be a negative star. My wife sent back an un eaten salad and the manager fought with me to pay for it. I was threatened with the district attorney if I dispute my charge. What makes it worste is we ordered a plate to go after the disappointment of a salad. Description said fresh cheese instead I got rubber kraft singles.

Just picked this place driving through in the morning- the outside just doesn't say enough about how nice and quaint it is inside- and the food was great- the gigantic hamburger was handmade with home made style bun- the bagel-ham-cheese-egg was great also- they use nice sized and tasty bagels (not that frozen stuff) and the ham was delicious. Great place.

Food really awesome. Service great really cute decorations. They make their own bread and desserts. Had the eggs Benedict The hollandaise sauce was great. French toast also excellent. Breakfast served all day.

We came here on mother's day and the environment was cute and a full menu of choices. After ordering, it took over 45 minutes to get the soups and salads. Then another 15 for the food. Yes, it was mother's day but it wasn't very busy. One of the sandwiches ordered was a chicken blt and initially came out with no chicken. It was sent back to the kitchen and then came back with chicken but no bacon or the fries that were originally on the plate. After another almost 30 minutes, the chef came out and apologized and gave the correct food. The meal was never taken off of the bill, Also, the drinks were never replenished without asking many times. The food was good but the service was horrible. We will likely not return.

Farm Inn on Main is the best restaurant around. I love that everything is made from scratch and in house. If you are passing through the area you need to stop there!! My favorites are: fish fry, boasted chicken, skillets, and much more!!!

A friend and I have been making a three-day road trip to Shawano every summer since 2005. We have breakfast each day at the Farm Inn. The food is good and reasonably priced. The service is great, and the décor fits in so well for Northern Wisconsin.

Good food, good service, cute atmosphere and awesome skillets!! We stopped on our way home for breakfast and it was a great pick. It wasn't anything amazing but it was good!

I really like this restaurant, the waitresses are friendly and the meat lovers skillet is delicious and huge to top it off. The ambience is nice, reminds you of a farm kitchen. It's has seating for bigger groups too, lots of room. Most of the food that I've tried there was good, kind of home cooked like your grandmother would make. Oh.... And there pancakes are gigantic sized. They call them tractor tires, and they mean it!

If you are reading this while driving on the Highway turn north when you get to Shawano! This place is pretty darn good. Hashbrown Skillet is amazing! Along with the huge choice of pies it is well worth the 2 mile drive off the highway. Only drawback is it seemed that half the staff were in training so service could have been better. Help wanted sign on door!

Love this place when I'm visiting Shawano for USA International Raceway. Portions are huge, food is very good and prices are very fair. Service has been great also, I've frequently come here with a very large group and they have been extremely accommodating. They have great specials too. Fantastic pancakes. Get a slice of pie! Tons of variety. Can't get any more small town American diner than this. Best place to eat in Shawano.

Holy cow, GREAT prices! We got a burger, the appetizer plate, a pork chop dinner, some beers, and three pieces of pie (one to take home) and it cost less than $25. The service was extremely friendly, our waitress was an absolute pleasure to talk to and she made some great recommendations as well. THE PIE. Unless you are a diabetic you have to have a piece of pie. It was nom nom-alicious.

This is a cross between 2 or 3 stars. It's your typical greasy spoon breakfast. Nothing great but decent.

We thoroughly enjoyed a bountiful breakfast in this cute cafe. Standouts were the kielbasa and eggs, and the huge, warm cinnamon buns.

We visit this restaurant on almost every visit to Shawano. Large menu with big portions of northwoods meals (country fried steak, hamburgers, breakfast all day, etc.). Also have large pie and dessert selection, if you have any room left over. Perfect for families or as a lunch-dinner stop while passing through Shawano (or traveling on Highway 29, which is a few miles away). Only complaint would be the service, which has been spotty (especially on late nights where the teenagers seem to be running the show)

Went downhill.... My fried chicken was so badly overcooked I couldn't get my fork into it and it was like rubber! My companions saw how over done it was and flagged her down to replace it... The waitress looked at me as if I was lying then looked like she wanted to argue with me. She also didn't give us any plates for our appetizers. They also gave Us an incomplete order of the fried bread then came out later with the rest of the order which was not as good as usual. Not impressed.
