I used to come here for many years before they bought The Blue Willow in Wausau. Now I go there because the menu is pretty much the same and it's closer to where I live. But If your looking for good "diner food" on Grand Ave. this is the place to be. They have a huge menu with basically everything you could possibly want on it including breakfast. The food isn't spectacular, you wouldn't expect it to be for the type of place that it is, but it does hit the spot and it's always what you expect. I would have to say that they are probably one of the best family restaraunts in the whole area. The prices are dirt cheap, you get a ton of food and it's always consistant. The prices are cheap and the service is always great. I would much rather come here then say someplace like Perkins, it's alot cleaner and with feriendlier service. The owner is especially nice, he's from Greece and used to always recognize me as a regular and say hello when I'd come in. Please bring your family here and try it, you will be glad you did!

Since Betty's Lunch went belly up we decided to try this place one more time. The omelet and skillet were ordered were just ok.

Is the food the best you'll ever have? No, it's not. I wasn't expecting much, I didn't know a single thing about this place. We ended up here on a Friday night with our 15-month-old. I took a chance and ordered their Fish Fry and well, I was pretty impressed! A little short on flavor, but nice breading and lovely and large fresh tasting cod. The side of hash-browns were as good as any diner. The coleslaw was a little to mayonnaise-y for me, but not bad. I must say, even if the food wasn't as decent as we experienced we'd probably even come back here with our toddler simply based on the fact that food came out piping hot and incredibly fast! So fast. Wonderfully fast for families of little ones. Service was sweet and informative. Glad we stumbled upon this place when our other plans fell through.

The worst restaurant I have ever been to. Food very , very bland greasy and no flavor!!! Also very dirty countertops dirty windows Ect, ect!!!!!!!!

A good family restaurant, like Perkins across the street in that regard. However, they have more variety with a little more ethnicity. They are in the same price range as Perkins. I think that the family that owns the place is Greek. They serve good hearty food.

Ordered a skillet and it was great! The outside looks like a less than great place, but the food is always amazing. Didn't have the pie but that looked really good also. Definitely a great place when you just want a quick good meal, and not anything fancy or expensive.

My family and I have been going here for years an it never disappoints. Good food and fantastic service, and the breakfasts are to die for, not to mention the prices are great for a broke college kid. I have not had a bad experience eating here in all the years i have gone. Id recommend it to any person or family looking for some good diner food.
