I book most of my recognition and team dinners here especially during the holidays. Cory is extremely helpful in tailoring a custom menu to suit the needs of my varying groups. My favorite entree is their rack of lamb.... melts in your mouth.

Best restaurant in Racine and one of the best upscale restaurants in the greater Milwaukee area. The menu is small, but always done perfectly. The staff is knowledgeable and always so helpful if needed. The staff will leave you alone and not hover over the table so conversations but the water glasses are always full, and plates cleared when finished. They always have great specials.

This and the Corner House are probably the two best fine-dining places in Racine, and Sebastian's has a far more interesting menu. I sometimes think they are a bit too aware that they are the best in town, but I may be over-sensitive to hints of pretension. On our last visit, my wife had the shrimp tempura with roasted vegetables on the side; she thought it very good, if a bit more salty than she prefers. Although it was labelled as "smaller" entree, there was really quite a bit of shrimp, probably as much food as my regular entree, chicken rolled in ham with grilled asparagus on the side--also very good. Our starters, a salad for her and a thick organic vegetable soup for me, were also quite good.

At my suggestion I went there for my birthday on Sat evening with my family. 4 out of 5 of our meals were terrible. Duck was awful. Grouper, greasy and overdone. Two of the Ribeyes were not edible. An occassional bad meal happens but never have I been at a restaurnat where no one had a decent dinner. The place was empty on a Saturday night and now I can see why. This place is definately not what it used to be. Terribly disappointed.

Poor service, overpriced mediocre food! Not a great place to go to celebrate an event. Many better restaurants in the area, save your money!!

When we asked for a recommendation where to eat in the Racine area on a Saturday evening we were sent here. It was a great find. We ate in the bar due to not having a reservation, the service was still top notch. Both our meals were great and we will be going back in the near future. It is a bit on the expensive side, but well worth it.

We had an excellent New Year's Eve dinner here. Our friends were just retired & moving to Florida, so it was the perfect goodbye gift for them. Set menu with four courses and four choices each for set price. Filet mignon was exceptional as was the lamb chops. Portions were perfect, not too small or large. Dessert was the topper, as the chocolate marchese couldn't be more perfect...albeit very rich and unable to be finished. The apple empanadas left something to be desired. They were more like a German apple strudel than an empanada. A little heavy. Otherwise, this was a great experience for only our second time there. Very pricey, but worth it.

What a difference from the last time we were there a couple of years ago! Then, the food was good but the service was snotty. Now, the food was great, the service friendly and attentive, the atmosphere comfortable. While they specialize in seafood, neither my wife nor I eat seafood. The steaks were great, sauces excellent and appropriate, the salads flavorful, and the sorbet (made on-site) shouldn't be missed. We were reluctant to try them again after the first experience a couple of years ago, but we're glad we did. We'd be glad to go again.

A nice first date place. It has a nice romantic atmosphere and cozy tables. The wine list is extensive, so do your homework if your not familiar with wines. The bistro steak is exquisite, one of the best steaks I've tried. The lamb, however, was a bit of a disappointment. Although they asked how I would like it cooked, it was served in chops ranging from rare to well done. The sides were delicious, they should definitely not be ignored. Service was a bit sketchy. We live very close and stopped in one day so we did not have a reservation. When we told the hostess that we did not we received a (dirty?) look even though only one table in the establishment was taken. During the meal we did not see much of our waitress, but that may be part of their plan to keep the atmosphere romantic and private. I would love to try Sebastian's again, if only for the Bistro steak. This time we'll make a reservation and see if we receive better service!

Arguably Racine's best restaurant (I disagree) and its only real white tablecloth place. Been there several times for dinner and a corporate Christmas party. Food was quite good, decent wine selection. But as one reviewer noted, sometimes a cold and almost hostile environment. My wife and I went in one night, middle of the week without reservations. Place was practically deserted. Yet the hostess, when discovering we did not have reservations gave us that eye rolling look. I was dressed (suit, not tie), my wife was her usually well turned out, and the German car (not a VW) was in the parking lot. Yet for a while we were treated like a couple of redneck country cousins. Waitress was efficient but extremely standoffish. Some recently gave me a $100 gift certificate for the place. Doubt I will ever use.

Love this place. The Sebastians do such a great job. The food is always great, atmosphere is elegant without being stuffy. Scott, Patrice, and Cory, you've always got our support!

We were in town for the Renaissance Faire and decided to have a nice dinner. Sebastian's was an excellent choice. I ordered the Pheasant and was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the dish. The flavors melded perfectly with the wine our server graciously help me to select. My companion had fried oysters for his appetizer. We have both lived on the coast & are snobs about our seafood. Those were the very best fried oysters either of us have ever had . . . hands down!!! Lush and full and succulent with no rubbery texture. They were cooked to perfection! His entree was the Walleye. Again, it was cooked to perfection. The sauces were brilliant and complimented our entrees without overpowering them. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was quiet enough to allow easy conversation and yet lively enough to keep us entertained. All in all, a wonderful memory of our visit to this area.

This place continues to get better and better. The wine list is solid and the creativity of the food is above average. The walleye was cooked to perfection

I enjoy going there and the food is delicious. A nice atmosphere especially is summer when you can enjoy their beautiful patio seating. Cons...The bar is small, and the median age of the clientele is 60 years old, so it's a very dry and quiet atmosphere. I'm not joking about the age either. If you're looking for a quiet delicious dinner, I recommend it.

This is definitely a nice place, white table cloths waiters wearing long sleeve white shirts, ties etc. The food to me is fine, I don't think it awesome, but its good. Service is everything you'd expect from a higher end restaurant. I have been here multiple times with other people. One thing I really do like is their bread basket, there's always at least one pretzel roll in there and I happily grab it every time. In the end, it's a good restaurant, it's just not my thing.

Went for my wife's birthday. Very nice setting just 3 miles south of Milwaukee county line. Service and food were excellent. Wine list very complete, appetizers fantastic. Braised kale salad to die for, mussels in dark beer cream sauce perfect. Fish selection and beef were perfect. Great evening! The only issue: they forgot her birthday! Will return soon

Scott Sebastian has put together a dining experience that is more like San Francisco or NYC than - Racine? I have never had a disappointing meal at Sebastian's. It is a more upscale place than most in the area but for REAL restaurant QUALITY food you cannot go wrong here. Casual Fridays feature 2 special three-course meals (choice of soup or salad, both excellent, choice of meat entree or seafood entree, always superb, and choice of desserts for $20 per person. This is an incredible deal. For special occasions, like New Years, you may drop $150+ for dinner and drinks for two but you and your baby will love it. Full bar, great wine list, very creative chef and staff. This is my favorite restaurant in the Midwest and one of my favorites in the world. Serving locally sourced products that are fresh and beautiful. Love the ambience too. In fact, I want to go there right now.

Have been here twice recently for the 20$ special on Friday (soup or salad, entree, dessert) had the ribeye last time, it was great. dessert was delicious also. I plan on going back soon, would like to try a seafood dish. Our service was excellent, also.

went here for dinner with friends. nice atmosphere, we had reservations and the place filled up quick. three of us ordered the ribeye special and one the fillet. the steaks were excellent. server was cordial. ialso had the shrimp bisque. should have called it tomato soup. pretty poor job on the bisque. the potatoes that came with the meal where some attempt at a scalloped potatoe. came out mushy and over cooked. we ordereda side of mushrooms. Unfortunately, they where under cooked. still crunchy in the middle. the desserts where a big hit. we got the manderin cake and found it delightful. overall would give it 2.5 but yelp only does whole stars. a little pricy for what you get. could be a really nice place but the details are not consistent on the meals.

Saturday night. Place filled up fast. Nice decorations for Christmas. Attentive wait staff. Choice of small plates and entrees. About 15 Entrees, all on the high side, very little under $20 with no sides ($5 extra for each). Salmon, Short-ribs, Truffle pasta and Walleye were tasty and, for the most part, filling. Presentation was nice. However, I probabably would look elsewhere for more reasonable fare, although the choices in Racine are not large.
