Was there a few weeks ago with a big group of girls. The hostess who sat me while i waited for the rest was very rude. She dropped a stack of menus on the table & walked away. Being a hostess/server myself i always like leave people with a "enjoy your meal" or "your server will be right with you" she definetly was not enjoying her job that day. My server was okay, she opened up more through out the meal. She was pregnant but still got everything done & was sufficent with getting refills & such things. I got a bloody mary that was the worst thing ive ever had, obviously they dont make them too often. I got a California wrap that was just lettuce in a tortilla. Ive been there before & the food is usually always good. Maybe we caught them on a bad day.

The restauran is filthy. Dark and food ALL over the floor. Everywhere. What does the kitchen look like ???? Expensive. Hostess was not friendly. Waitress was nice. Would not go back. Never. They need to shut down for a weekend and paint and deep clean.

I loved this place... I would even consider myself a regular... Until I took my visiting family here. Hollandaise sauce was overdone. Bananas foster was burnt. Crepes tasted like salt? When I went to pay the bill I told the manager how displeased I was. Her response was 'I'll notify the kitchen'... No apology... Nothing. Bad guest service indeed. I won't be returning.

I have had two very pleasant meals at Honey B's! Both made me feel like I was on vacation, especially last weekend when the deck was open. The servers are friendly, and the red potatoes are fantastic! The combo plate with half a BLT and a Greek salad was superb. I hope to return for a Friday fish fry, and am glad that I'll be able to have a glass of wine to go along with it!

The broken and half-lettered sign outside has been like that for about a year now. The exterior makes it look like it's shut down. It's a neighborhood eye sore. And I'm embarrassed that a poorly kept restaurant is in our beautiful area. I've been there probably a dozen times Since it opened. Everything has gone way downhill over the years. Food is just alright. It's definitely not worth the increased prices. The owner/manager(?) and her friends/relatives(?) hang out at the cash register all the time. That seems unprofessional. I feel like I'm interrupting their chit chat to check out (which I think should be done at the table). Waitstaff is always nice and efficient. Clean up the interior and especially the exterior, lower prices and I would consider coming back someday.

Just... well... a diner. Greasy food, ok service, 80's decor. The pancakes were good! Yep. That's all.

Honey B's II* cooks up standard diner fare at excellent prices with friendly midwest service. When we arrived at 11:10am, we were certain they were no longer offering the breakfast specials (available til 11am), but our waitress told us we could still order the specials without us even asking! Food comes out quick! For $4.99 I got perfectly sunny-side up eggs, well-seasoned homefries, a thick slice of ham, and fluffy buttermilk pancakes! Check them out! They're "the bee's knees!**" ----------------------------------------------- *I have no idea where the original Honey B's is. **That's THEIR catchphrase. I'm not that creative or corny.

It's a diner- overall food was good. Waitstaff could use some training- reaching over people to give them their food is not good etiquette. Trash can in bathroom was overflowing- which tells me they don't check on a regular basis. Small things to be improved- if give it a solid 3- good place for diner food and ease of dining.

We came for breakfast on a Friday morning. Not too busy, but a decent enough crowd. The service was okay, nothing outstanding. The decor, average, nothing special. The food, eggs cooked to order; my toast, not quite toasted enough; the hash browns, not quite browned enough; the steak, appropriately done as I requested. My wife's breakfast order ... about the same as mine, but no steak, just sausage. Her toast was toasted to her liking and her hash browns were browned to her liking as well. The waitress asked if we wanted our toast wet (buttered) or dry (not buttered.) We did not want the toast buttered ahead of time. We would rather do that ourselves. Most places bring butter with the toast. Here, we had to ask after getting the toast without butter on the side. It's a good thing we noticed the lack of butter when the waitress brought the toast since we didn't see her again until after we were done eating. Will we come back? Maybe, maybe not. The food and service were acceptable.

LOVE ME SOME HONEY BEE'S II!! Stumbled on it one day and it's my favorite breakfast place to hit up. Great food, great service. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the decoration isn't that of a trendy joint, but that's part of this place's charm. Everything has to do with bee's, and well, duh! Leave the decor as is. Definitely try the banana's fosters pancakes (not too big on the sweets, get pancakes on the side rather than toast and get a side of fosters sauce to use in place of syrup, OH. MY. GOD.) As for the original Honey Bee's. Not an epic story here, there were some paperwork issues when first setting up and they could no longer us "Honey Bee's", and thus, "Honey Bee's II" was created. They also have a whole wrap menu, who doesn't love a great wrap with a side of sweet potato fries?!

Have no idea how you can screw up breakfast. But this place does. Skillet was so greasy I only ate 1/2. Potatoes were old n pancakes tasted like frozen. English muffin my wife had was stale. Stay away.

Food excellent and varied. Wait staff very attentive and one of those places in Racine that has anytime breakfast food. Bananas Foster French Toast is just one of their highlights. Regular Lunch selections as well as dinner staples. The red skinned potatoes are delicious with any meal.

Arrived July 5th at a busy time, the tail end of the brunch rush. Wait for table of six was 25 minutes, which was ok, and we were seated by noon. Beverages were slightly delayed, but the worst was that we didn't get our food order (five egg dishes and one salad) delivered to the table until 12:59. Expressed displeasure to manager who at first just looked at me, and then after I reiterated that a one hour wait was unacceptable, she hesitantly offered to adjust the bill, which I declined as it really didn't feel like she cared. Not going back again.

Good, cheap, diner food. Came in one morning and got the chicken fried steak skillet with two eggs over red potatoes and choice of toast for $5.99. The coffee was really cheap tasting, but it is a diner afterall.

Service was fast and friendly. Food is super cheap and is good/average diner food. Definitely better than IHOP. I always like to support local businesses. I'd come here again. The only downfall is the radio static coming from the speakers!!

Agree with all comments on the decor. I went on a Saturday around 8pm. We were the only ones there, and it appeared they were already packing up for the night. Kind of weird as when we went in, you can see the cook behind the counter doing his nothing, because he had nothing to do but fool around. Kind of a turnoff. Other than that, the service was good and attentive. The food came out hot, which was a plus. I had a reuben which was so-so. Bread was way greasy and soggy, huge downfall. Vodka mixer was delicious and well poured. Always a plus! My mom likes the place, so she is the only reason i would be back, but I do have a few friends who stand by them 100% as a great place. Prices seem a little high on the dinners and lunches for quality. I also agree with the presentation comments, that they work hard to make that seen.

WARNING: if you want a restaurant with mediocre food, HORRIBLE service, and WORSE management-come here! We felt the bad attitude the moment we walked in. We got seated in a dark dingy back room with a horrendous fly problem! The manager wouldn't even talk to us and the waitress gave us the WORST attitude! I was served a dish that looked SO BAD that I didn't even put my fork on the plate!! They re-made it but charged me for BOTH! I wouldn't send my worst enemy here! STAY AWAY!

This place is a quick minute from my office and I've gone here a couple of times for lunch. When I've brought "outsiders" here I usually warn, "This place looks like a hot mess, but the food is great!" I'm not a restaurateur, but if I owned this place, I would make some serious changes in regards to the decor but it does have a certain greasy spoon je ne sais quoi. I can never tell if the hokey-ness is part of the reason why I like this place or part of the reason this place will never be more than 3 stars to me. The food is surprisingly good, however. It's very uncomplicated comfort food and exactly what you'd expect from a corner diner. I notice that Honey B's' pays more attention to presentation than most diner-type restaurants. I appreciate the extra effort the kitchen takes in plating meals and there are quite a few little surprises like a crab cake eggs Benedict that is way better than what I'd expect from a restaurant in this category. (And, no, I have no clue where the original Honey B's is or if it even exists.)

If I ever return to Wisconsin, I will make it a point to do one, if not both, of the following things. a.Return to Honey B's II b. Find the original Honey B's. It's a fantastic Mom+Pop diner with all the Midwest charm I hoped for. The waitress was extremely accommodating and friendly. When one of the people I was eating with decided to change their order, my NY sensibility kicked in, and almost expected at least a roll of the eyes or a sigh from the waitress. But nothing. Just a perfectly polite and understanding response and a complete non-issue. The $3.99 breakfast specials are served from 6-11 and are more than enough for one person. 2 perfectly cooked over easy eggs, bacon, hash browns and two pieces of toast for $3.99. Three of us at for $15. You can't beat that. Overall a fantastic diner in Racine, and just what I needed the morning after flying in to Milwaukee.

I've been to honey B's 2 already 4 time now and these last two times I've literally had to be dragged in. I've had the trio skillet and it was very dry and had no flavor what so ever I couldn't even finish half of it. When I complained they didn't do anything. The 2nd time I came in I had the gyro and eggs and the gyro meat which they said was really good was dry and very thin and my eggs were raw and were still running (they were scrambled). I complained and again nothing. The third time I was forced to come in with my parents because they love it here. I had the chicken sandwich and fries. Fries were still cold in the center the chicken sandwhich was cold and it had absolutely no flavor except for the ranch they added to it that's all you tasted again I mentioned it and they said nothing and kinda giggled. Today again as I pleaded not to come in I still had to because I was spending time with my parents. I asked the waitress what she recommended and she said the traditional #1 since I've had bad experiences already. I said okay my eggs were raw and so were the hash browns I showed her and she said sorry. Seriously how can hash browns be raw! I'm seriously done with this place the waitress's are nice and the place is okay but the food is absolutely horrible and when you complain they don't do anything The owner ask everytime how the food is and she got mad the last time I was there she asked me to give them another try I will never be coming back here again. Nothing will ever change my mind. Seriously don't waste your money here.

Three strikes and you're out. I wanted to like Honey B's II; I really did. I feel very strongly about supporting local businesses and the owner is very friendly and conversational. The wait staff is largely competent, but can be rough around the edges. The decor has room for improvement, as others have mentioned, but it was clean and tidy. Where did it fall off my list? My first meal, a dinner, was average. Honestly, I don't even remember what it was, but if I'm going out instead of cooking for myself I would like there to be some differentiator. Dining out should not be just about inserting food in your head. My second meal was a BLT. There is little that you can do to harm this choice, but the waiter was rather long in serving us or refreshing our drinks, or even giving us our check - even though it was not busy. Still willing to give it one more chance I went there with my wife for breakfast. I had steak and eggs with hash browns and coffee. The steak had been frozen too long, was dry and tough. I was asked if I wanted steak sauce when I was served and I replied that if I needed steak sauce I was in the wrong restaurant. I was in the wrong restaurant. Something that I was served was bad, whether old grease on the griddle, eggs too raw or the steak turned. Most unfortunate. I am happy to see the place is usually busy; good for them. I can't go back after my last experience. While Douglas Avenue Diner is my default place to go, sometimes I like a change. Breakfast at George Webb had no ill effects on me, I'm pleased to say. Sorry, Honey B's II, I tried to like you. I hope others have better luck. By the way, there is no original Honey B's. The owner had two buildings that she was going to set up but the deal fell through on the first one. The names were already in place so there you are.

i agree with dan c commet below were into supporting local business' but when your own cooking is better were better off cooking at home. the hostess don't smile and the broasted chicken couldn't have been broasted it took forever to get and was very dry. it was better when it was leonardo's. need to make changes fast!!
