Went here for an early dinner. Always wanted to go to an Irish pub. I was pleasantly greeted by the woman behind the bar. My girlfriend and I took a seat and took in the atmosphere of the place. The seats and tables were a dark wood and the decor was very pleasant. The menu was unique and were on wooden planks which was interesting. I ordered the Shepards Pie which was incredible. And ordered a side of soda bread and honey butter which I LOVED. My girlfriend ordered the Reuben Panini with fries. The fries were handcut and were very good. All in all, the food was amazing and definitely a go-to place to eat.

We came around dinner time and it was pretty crowded. It took a while to get seated and for our food to arrive, but we enjoyed their large selection of tap beers in the meantime. The best dish seemed to be the fish fry. Reuben and other sandwiches were pretty average. Their mashed potatoes are great though, topped with butter and a sweet gravy. I'd head back to Dublin's to grab drinks but would likely head somewhere else for dinner.

Excellent quick Irish lunch with good coffee, beer, and Irish food. Bread is fantastic!

In town for EAA 2015 and Yelp pointed is to this local Irish Pub. It is a genuine Irish Pub with excellent service and outstanding food. This will be a regular stop for food and beer.

Great selection of craft beers and the atmosphere is just "chill" not "let's get wasted and part our faces off". Definitely one of my favorite places to go for a drink and bar food.

The menu includes a variety of Irish fare. Out of the handful of times I have eaten there with my family, I have never ordered the same food item and I have not been disappointed. The restaurant is set up as a bar primarily, but there is a separate dining section (as well as an outdoor section if the season/weather is right). Personally, I am not one to drink at bars, and I have only gone for a full sit-down meal, but it would appear that this place would appeal to the bar crowd as well (side note: the bar and dinning areas are classy and decorative). I plan on returning again and again. Yum!

We're in town early for EAA this year (known just as "Oshkosh", "OSH", or "#OSH15" to us tourists) so we can pick up a little local flavor before the madness. As soon as I hit Yelp in search of someplace on our side of town, I knew this was the destination for the night... We are always suckers for a well-rated Irish pub (and usually still curious about a not-so-well rated one). We must've walked in right at the end of post-work happy hour, as the nearly full bar cleared out within about 10 minutes of our arrival. The bartender obviously knew most of the crowd by name, and was busy getting checks closed out, so she was just a little slow in getting to us initially. After the first order was in, though, she was quick and helpful. We're really hungry, so we opt to split the Irish eggrolls and bangers & mash. Wow. Both were amazing. I've had spins on the reuben eggroll at other bars before, but none of them could compare to these... definitely fresh, large, and perfectly cooked. As we split the three of them, we started to question the sanity of the bangers, but we knew we could find a way to finish it all. The sausages come split and grilled, which I don't think I have ever had at a restaurant before, and it added to making them amazing. Abundant use of worscestershire sauce in the sausages and gravy was evident and added to making everything super tasty. The honey butter for the soda bread capped it all off nicely. By the time we were done, we were stuffed with no hope for dessert. So there may be another visit to see what they have and to work through some more of the menu.

Decent food - but this is more of a bar than a restaurant. I'm not a big drinker, so I can only rate the food, waitress and atmosphere. Our waitress was great. I wish I knew her name. I'm just really bad with names. The husband and I split the Reuben egg rolls and fish and chips. The Reuben egg rolls were by far our favorite. They have bits of pastrami, mozzarella cheese (odd choice but it wasn't bad) and sauerkraut inside of a somewhat crispy egg roll wrapper. You almost need the 1000 island dressing that comes on the side to add moisture to the somewhat dry interior. I don't typically eat 1000 island but spread a hint of it here and there for texture. I'd rather have an English mustard to go with it, but they only have the day-glo yellow mustard. The fish and chips are just odd. They are somewhat spicy and not made of cod. My husband took a few bites and quit eating. I finished the filet I had because it didn't taste bad - it's just not at all what we thought we were ordering. In all, for being in a small town with limited options (I'm from Austin), it wasn't bad.

Food was good, the serves was even better. They have a very good selection of beer on tap. Went for fish on a Friday, the perch was good. I'm picky about my tarter sauce and they have pretty good tater sauce too.

No soap in the men's room. Music was way too loud for noon on a Wednesday. Something foreign in my fish that hurt my teeth when I bit it. I did not investigate what it was because I didn't want to know. Bartender never refilled my soda or checked to see how the fish was, and I had to chase down a different server to get my bill so I could leave. Maybe had she bothered to check, something could have done that would entice me to go back. Will not return.

Great restaurant my wife and I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The place can be hard to find. It is in the corner of a strip mall. Don't let the strip mall part put you off. This place is a great Irish pub and their Irish whiskey and tap beer selection is the best in the whole Valley. Check out the pics of the beer list I posted. Food is well thought out and great pub fare. Shepard's pie is good and the burgers well done too. The Guinness Marinated Steak ($8.95) is excellent. They have non Irish food too. Several wrap selections and salads as well. A real winner is their take on the Cuban Sandwich. This is not your typical or traditional Cuban, but the addition of just the right amount of a rich BBQ sauce to the pulled pork and Honey Mustard sauce with the hard wood smoked ham and pickles on a grilled ciabatta bun make this sandwich sing!

I have to start this review with the biggest issue I found at this place -- their menu has a consistent misspelling of "Reuben" on it. For an Irish-esque place, this seems like a basic thing. And I say Irish-esque with kindness. It's not Irish, but the decor sings of trying to be, as do parts of the menu. The decor is rustic with dark wood booths; the walls adorned by whiskey and beer signs. Overall, the food is good. I've been here three times now, and each time happy ordered the Reuben with fries. Never disappointed. When we're in town annually for business, this is the lunch I most look forward to over our four days.

Stopped in 3/7/14 for Friday night fish. I had the haddock with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The fish was good. It didn't have a fishy taste to it. The mashed potatoes had a little bit of the skin left on and were very good. To drink I tried the beer named "Velvet Rooster". It was very good. Hops and Props was going on the following night at EAA so servers were going around offering new beers to try and buy. I ended up liking it so much that I had two glasses of it. The only downside of eating at Dublins was our waitress seemed to be having a bad night and was crabby when taking our order. She never came to see if we needed refills (we had to ask another server for refills), didn't bring extra tarter sauce, and rolled her eyes when we asked for the bill to be separated into two.

We LOVED the shepard's pie and the bangers and mash. The Guinness gravy is amazing. If I could bathe in it, I would. HUge selection of beers on tap and great service.

Yum yum, yum! Grilled tomato and avocado salad was scrumptious! My neighbor and I went for a late lunch, and we both had the salad. The tomatoes were grilled to perfection and really made the salad a special treat! The waiter (owner?) made excellent suggestions for our beer selection. My only concern, poor acoustics. My neighbor is a little hard of hearing, and even though it was after two in the afternoon and the place was fairly empty, it was sometimes hard to be heard over the loud music and reverberation from the walls. Great food, but maybe we will hit the patio next time!

Rueben is best in Fox Valley. Not just pieces of processed corn beef in a sandwich. Great crowd on a Monday night. Wonderful selection of craft beers on tap. Just what you would expect. Great beer selection and homemade comfort food

Food is amazing, but service is hit-or-miss and the drinks are pretty expensive. Still, I love coming to this Irish-style bar!

Went here for lunch with a coworker last Friday and was plesantly surprised. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap and asked for a side-salad, as well. The honey mustard dressing was delicious. The soda bread (and honey butter) that came with the side salad were aaamazing. And the main entree, the chicken wrap, was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The waitress was really nice. The restaurant was charming and clean. Total bill (water, side salad, chicken wrap) was less than $10 and I left really satisfied! Definitely looking fwd to going back!

Hidden Gem, not just a bar. GOOD FOOD. they have a back room if you want to rent for a party, good food, all staff was wonderful. had a party there for 20 and picked the food, everything was great, they allowed us to bring desserts and everyone enjoyed themselves. one issue: staff did not know how to recommend quantity to us so we had too much for 20 people but we took it home and had food for days.it was like they never helped cater a party or knew what their food would feed even with a dedicated catering menu. good prices and great service.

Have to agree with other review about the panini and fish. Not the best - has the Phily and it was not so great. BUT the Shepards Pie is EXCELLENT! Ask for extra meat! I have been really happy with the Irish feel to the place. Good piped in and live music. Friendly bartenders and fun atmosphere.

Good beer selection and atmosphere, plus free shufflepuck, make this a good place to grab a drink. Unfortunately, the limited menu and its uninspired preparation make it a lousy place to eat. And in Oshkosh, that's really saying something. The soda bread is exceptional, however.

This place is a winner in my book. Cheap sandwiches, tasty corned beef, friendly service. I will definitely be back!

Dublin's pub is a nice place to have a drink but a better place to go for a drink with a sandwich. I've been there multiple times now and have yet to be unhappy with the service or food. I have ordered their burger, chicken sandwich and have had the fries / homemade chips and all have been good. The chicken sandwich is decent while the Burger is actually quite good. I will say I went this afternoon and one of the people I went with commented that it was the best burger he had eaten in a long time. I guess for a slow afternoon that would let the common man know that they do have decent food. I am no gastronomer by any means but a greasy burger and homemade fries is really hard to screw up. I have to admit that I have had times when the fries or chips were a bit underdone but they are still edible to tasty even with the sog. I like a firmer fry but it still did not bother me in the least. I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the prices on their drinks compared to the food. Sometimes you can find yourself paying a little more than you bargained for on some simple drinks. I would definately reccomend not getting a mixed drink as they are overpriced. I think a Jack and Coke (4-5 bucks at a normal restaurant) was 7. Be that as it may, I would reccomend this to anyone if they were in town and wanted to grab a bite and a beer. A burger and fries that would fill up most fat men costs 7 dollars (same as your jack and coke) believe it or not. Plenty of TV's and every type of sport on that you would want. I didn't participate, but they do offer (during NFL season) a 25 dollar all you can eat/drink special with domestic drafts and hot wings or 35 for specialty beers like Fat tire, Blue moon or spotted cow. I dont know about you, but 25 bucks would normally last me 2 hours in a bar if I was hittner hard and with NFL games from from noon to 9 pm, you could be in for one hell of a hangover and burning #2 the next day if you really wanted.

If you are hoping to find traditional Irish fare in Oshkosh, good luck. This place has a good feel and friendly look, but with the exception of some signs and bottles of Jameson, it is not so Irish.

My husband and I ate there during the EAA Airventure. I was looking forward to the traditional Irish fish and chips (cod), but they use haddock and made it spicy. So I ordered the Grilled Chicken Panini. I figured that there wasn't much they could do to mess up grilled chicken. Boy was I wrong! The chicken was cut up in cubes and tasted like it was boiled and not grilled. One half of the panini had 3 cubes and the other had about 20. It was awful. The fries were soggy thin strips. My husband had the buffet and wasn't pleased with the food either. The service was very good, but the food wasn't.

Went during a Packer game. Tried their black and tan onion rings. Very good; could definitely taste it! Ordered their grilled salmon panini with fries. Was also very good. The monte cristo and build-your-own burger were also ordered. There was nothing left. They also have a bartendar that can do the clover in the Guiness. Overall, we will definitely be back!
