Excellent burgers, very good fish dinner waitress was outstanding. Now the hostess was so incredibly rude I mean really beyond comprehension. I was shocked at how amazingly mean and rude she was. I'm not sure I could return to be treated so poorly for no apparent reason other than we were looking to eat dinner and she obviously did not want us there. I don't know why we did not say anything to her other than two for dinner please. I'm not kidding you it was crazy.

Nice bartender and huge portions. That's about it for my "pro's" list. Con's: - Incompetent waitress both times I was there. Messed up our orders and checks. - Waited 45 minutes for spaghetti (that night's special) in an empty bar. - The huge burger I had was definitely one of the biggest around, but the quality of the beef was like canned dog food. Definitely will not be going there again.

This place has delicious burgers, but note: they are HUGE. I usually order the baby burger, and often even come home with leftovers of that. And trust me, I have a hearty appetite for cheeseburgers. ;) The atmosphere is very blah. I think they're trying to do the "country charm" look but it falls pretty flat. Wish they'd redo the inside.

Great pizza all the time and the Saturday prime rib is excellent. Service is fast and friendly. I find myself recommending it often to people visiting the area. Between the dining room and bar there must be over 20 tv's usually playing a sports event. Bar has a very strong PACKERS theme. The food is overall good and the atmosphere is very fun with tones of sports, rustic and family. It's a bit out of the way but we find it worth the drive. Nice spot for a stop on a bike trip. Harley friendly with reserved motorcycle parking right up front. Prices are fair with large serving sizes.

I've heard many great things about their burgers, which I do still intend to try, but this review is solely about their Friday fish fry. I've had worse -- I think... Possibly... Maybe... Actually, maybe not. This definitely ranks as one of the worst I've ever tried. We picked up an order of the bluegill, perch and Cajun crawfish over pasta. The prices were pretty good, but the food was pretty bad. The bluegill pieces were very small (And by this, I mean smaller than even an average fish fry's bluegill) and it was very, VERY salty, to the point of being nearly inedible. The perch was a pretty good size, but was extremely overcooked and hardly even appetizing, while the potato pancakes were average, at best. They weren't good, but they weren't terrible or anything. The crawfish dish was... just all right. It was quite spicy (not a bad thing), but was basically just an amalgam of whatever ingredients they seemed to have left over in the kitchen - some limp green onions, cold, rubbery mushrooms, etc. All in all, the price was decent, but the fish fry was pretty awful. I still plan to try their burger, but I will never come back to Tom and Di's for a fish fry again.

This is a great place. You could be a snow mobiler, or a family full of kids. People are really nice and they WILL remember who you are. Great place for a pizza and broasted chicken. And believe it or not they have the best grilled cheese. !!!!

The service of the Rustic Inn was dismal. The hostess wouldn't acknowledge us standing right in front of her and she never once smiled or even said "hello". Three waitresses basically shoved their way passed me without saying "excuse me" for bumping into people and the expressionless waitress for our table got the order wrong so we had to wait another half hour for our food. Reading other reviews it looks like we weren't alone with that problem. Unfortunately I've had better microwave pizzas than the one they served, which was overpriced for a mini pizza of so-so quality. Bottom line: I doubt we'll be going back any time soon. I gave them an extra star just because they honored our reservation.

Three stars for the food. Five stars for the bartender. She had great cust service and worked the whole restaurant by herself with one cook in the back.

I wouldn't even give this one star. Horrible. HORRIBLE service. Went here as a larger group of "7". Waited over an hour and 15 minutes for a table. Watching as smaller parties of 3 and 4 were seated in front of us. There were several times that 2 tables could have been pushed together to accommodate our group but instead sat smaller groups. After an hour and 3 crabby kids- I finally asked and the hostess "Lisa" states "well I suppose I could have pushed those tables together but I usually only seat larger groups as these 3 spots". :-/ there was a table available in the bar area as well and we were told that "the owner does not want kids in the bar because of the image" however-- there was a 3 year old child dining at the table with his parents. When I pointed this out to the hostess she stayed "well- that's new to me- I didn't seat them". Anyone at a hostess station should have an ounce of common sense and you don't let 15 people walk in the door and get sat while other people wait for over an hour. This is the third time we have been here-- and the service is never good. Avoid. Really. This is my 11 year old sons comment on their "SERVICE". I would never even step foot on their property. Lisa, the hostess didn't have any common sense of putting 2 tables together!!! She would not let us sit in the bar area. This was because she thought my mother would let us drink vodka. Well all this happening there is a 3 year old eating in the "BAR AREA". We waited 1 hour+ for our seats well groups came in after and were sat. Not only was this rude, there were several tables open to our group of 7. My dad asked politely to Lisa "can we have our seats please". This business is earning way to much money, so in return they give rudeness. Lisa nether solved our problem, though talked back like a 5 year old. This Lisa should be fired, as well as ashamed for her rudeness. DO NOT SPEND A PENNY AT THIS PLACE!!!

One of our favorites after church. Great burgers and sandwiches ( Baron Beef, Italian sausage, chicken caliente.) servings are huge. Service can be a little slow when the place is busy.

Nice little bar! There's definitely a strong local crowd, and most people who came in were greeted by name. Bathrooms were clean and service was professional. Yes, this is definitely the place to come for sports fans in the area. Just about every inch of the walls are covered by some kind of sports memorabilia or television. I can see that this would be a fun place to come at night, especially if you actually ARE one of the locals!

I love the famous burgers. They are large, juicy, and delicious! They are almost always cooked exactly to temp (medium rare for me) which is rare in this area. The price of $6.75 for standard burger cant be beat. It doesn't come with fries but you don't need them this burger is more than enough. My wife has the auce broasted chicken and it was moist and very favorable. I've had only one bad dish, the crab stuffed cod bit other than that really enjoy the food here. The burger is by far the king of the show and pretty much the standard I judge other burgers by.

Where do I start. The server was very nice (thats the good part). We placed our order for steaks, medium rare. I also asked for mushrooms to be added to my steak. We ordered mozzarella sticks before our meal. The meals came woth soup, salad, and "relish tray". The soup was bland but salty (beef broth). The noodles were smooshy. Only 1 peice of steak in each of our soups. We did not eat but 2 spoons of it. The salad was large, probably the best part of my meal. The relish tray consisted of hot peppers, port wine cheese (scoop) and braunschweiger dip (scoop) few olives and radish slices and crackers. Our steaks came (with the mozz sticks) and the mushrooms were from a can, as well as cold. The steak was not "steak" but like a large peice of roast, (or tenderloin?) which was also cold. My twice baked potato was piping hot, however the mashed potato part was bland. The only flavor was the cheese and bacon melted on top. A different server almost hit a man in his face while putting the large tray of pizza onto the table. The look on his face was irritated, to say the least. On a positive note the portions were huge! The burger looked like it was a full LB of meat! Next time I dine here I will not get a steak but a pizza or burger.
