I've been a loyal customer for almost thirteen years now! There is a reason why... The quality and service are worth the little extra you pay versus the big chains. The thick crust is the way to go for sure as it is a traditional crusted pie, and it is what Frank & Gail prefer for themselves. The chicken pizza is amazing and the spinach (plus ham, in my book) is also great! I recommend them to all of my friends and neighbors and think they are in the top three best pizza for greater MKE!
Nice service and delivery. Tasty thin crust, but could definitely use more toppings!!
Tried this place for the first time and I was very impressed with them. The service was outstanding. This is a true old-fashioned pizza place. They only have carryouts and deliveries and upon walking into the place you get to see the entire kitchen so there's no surprises here. The pizza itself was very tasty. I loved the crust and the homemade sauce but I thought it could have used more sauce and toppings. That was my only gripe. I also tried the meatball sandwich which hit the spot. The pizza and sandwich were both very reasonable for what you got I thought. The service here was also outstanding. They work hard to please and I'll certainly be back.

Great pizza. House crust is the best. Love the cheesy garlic bread, too. Delivery is fast and reliable. Crossroads is a great community supporter, too. We sold Crossroads Pizza at our Scout carnival. Thank you, Crossroads!
Good carryout pizza. I would say 2nd best pizza in New Berlin that I have tasted. We will purcase pizza from Crossroads again.
We love crossroads! We order about once a month and couldn't be happier. It's a great neighborhood pizza place.

This is why I love yelp. This a small little diner that I would of passed right up if I hadn't read the good reviews. Stopped by on a Saturday morning and had great service. Excellent food and it was delivered quickly!!! Bonus is prices are reasonable!! They also serve really good bloody Mary's! I will be back!!!
This restaurant is a real gem! High quality food at a reasonable price. This is one of those eating places that you remember from your past, getting harder to find these days. They have about 20 tables and booths to sit at, very clean. Older building but up dated just enough to bring back fond memories of the 1960's,1970's and 1980's. The waitress Michelle was very professional, checked with me several times, to make sure I was happy with my dinner and she had a lovely personality. The owner even came to my table to make sure the food I had ordered was to my liking. A restaurant is worth the stop and you won't leave feeling hungry! Yes I will be back!!!!!
Great food. And good beer selections. Right by my house in Muskego. I will Definatly be back. Had the fish fry and it was very tasty. Nice service and my boyfriend and his daughter both liked their Meals too. I want to check them out 4 Breakfast sometime soon !!!

This place is so cute! It's very close to my house and I've been going here since my childhood! They have good breakfast, lunch, and dinner! It's a tiny little diner, with a counter that seats about 8, and a handful of tables. The prices are great and the food is good too. Get a malt or a milkshake - they serve it in an old school glass and bring you the extra (who doesn't want extra?!)! The only downside is that since it IS so small, sometimes you just can't get a place to sit and parking can be difficult - but it's worth your time to check it out!
Stopped for breakfast. Shared a scrumptious Denver omelette , corned beef hash, and sturdy wheat toast. The coffee was aromatic. Service was fast and friendly. The waitress even divided the meal before serving. I put the place down as a bookmark to go to again.
Cash only so worth it! Black Russian omelette is amazing and chocolate chip pancakes.

Sub Station

I stopped for lunch today with my parents and my Dad and I had their Southwest Turkey sandwich (special of the day) and Mom had the mini chicken salad sub. Delicious sandwiches, very fresh ingredients and pleasant staff. Reasonably priced too - I think the 3 sandwiches, 2 Sprecher Root Beers and 1 bag of chips was around $20? Definitely give them a try!
I stop in on a regular basis for lunch. They are only open during the lunch time so plan for that. Good fresh subs in a variety of sizes which is nice since sometimes you just need a little... and some days much more. Good soups and side salad/pasta dishes to pick from. I've had 4 or 5 different subs and they all have been fresh and delicious. The meatball sub is amazing... several large juicy meatballs... I have a tough time finishing the regular size one.... but I always do... :-)
Descriptive phrase: mom-and-pop sub shop. Headed out for some lunch? Bypass that darned McDonald's and head a block down the road to the unassuming strip mall. Hiding here is Sub Station, an under-the-radar sub shop which apparently has been a New Berlin institution for nearly three decades. I came here for a quick lunch last Friday around noon. Upon walking in my nose is bombarded with an intense and delicious aroma. I couldn't put my finger on what it was, but it literally made me salivate. The interior is nothing special, looking like any 90's-era sandwich joint. Behind the counter were an army of women, of varying ages, all of whom looked like they might be related. They were all extremely nice. You can tell it's a small business with the way they utilize white-board menus for daily specials, and there's even a small handout encouraging people to write reviews (check!). I ordered the Chicken Fajita Wrap ($5.50) and took it out to the sidewalk seating. Flour tortilla wrapped around grilled chicken, red peppers, onions, pepper-jack cheese, rice, and a fajita sauce. I loved the addition of rice inside; it's not just for burritos! The chicken, peppers, and onions were decent quality, and the fajita sauce was unique and tangy. At around 8 inches long, it was more than enough food, too. Sub Station is a nice little stop in New Berlin, especially for an area of the town that's lacking in both quick-lunch spots and locally-owned restaurants.

Great gyro. Lived in Chicago for years and found this to be the next best option in Milwaukee. Much better then the other gyro joints in the area.
Ordered lunch for a small office. Chose a variety of sandwiches and everyone loved them. Great portions and delicious food, very impressed by the value received and the service provided. Will definitely return

Matty’s Bar & Grille

Reviews:
Every time I've been here, it's been a pretty good experience. Service is top notch and Ryan was a very good manager that gave us the best experience. The food was good when I went there for a 2nd time for a party. Yesterday I went there for my 3rd time. We were greeted, seated & helped right away. Our waitress was very attentive during the 3 hour stay and provided 3 beer samples from the bar to the outside back patio. I asked for the double IPA they have on tap as a sample and was told they couldn't do that. I went to the bar later and asked for a sample and they gave me one of it. If I would've gotten a sample originally of the double IPA, I would've gotten that one rather than a citrus one. That's my only small complaint. Food serve is fast but otherwise they'll be seeing me & friends regularly when I wanna stay in the new Berlin area for a meal or drink!
What a delightful little place. Seems like they have a lot of long time loyal patrons and they do a lot of catering. Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of room in the back (newer) area and tons of seating outside. Pretty clean and cozy. Matty's has a build your own burger, which I really like. They even give you a sticker with the name of the person that made it. The burger was pretty fantastic and the Caribbean sauce was amazing - definitely need to go back and try more. Also had the sweet potato fries with the marshmallow dipping sauce. Let me be clear, I'm not a fan of marshmallows - but this was the bees knees! Highly recommend. I'm told brunch is great and so is the pizza - so I'll be back to try it out!
While trying to find a new place to watch the Packer game, a friend mentioned Matty's. Online we found that they were having a "Packer Experience" that day which was $30/person and included an open bar (rails and beer) and halftime food. Decided to give it a try and it didn't disappoint. Got there around 10:45 and there were plenty of seats on the "Mattio". The alcohol started at 11AM and the awesome waitresses immediately started walking around serving bloody Mary's and screwdrivers in addition to anything else you ordered. There was a 2 man crew making announcements and trivia for random t-shirts, koozies, and other small prizes. They were great and kept things fun. At halftime they served wings and hot dogs with sides of all their sauces and sides for the dogs. There was plenty of food which was nice! The "Mattio" was awesome and had plenty of TVs. Had a great time and the food was really good! Our group of 5 plus the 2 others sharing our table prebooked for the next "Experience".

Went to dinner at 5 on New Year's Eve yesterday when the place opened. Had reservations and was the third couple in the place. Was seated next to the bathroom and kitchen by a crabby 50 year old lady who clearly didn't want to be there. I asked to sit somewhere else given the whole place was empty when we got there and had open tables when we left and was told " no ". You just don't treat customers like that when there are tons of options. I will never go there again
Looking for something different in the outskirts of Milwaukee and found a hidden gem in New Berlin. Freshly prepared, home grown, and locally sourced, the menu features "what's fresh" and excels in presentation and preparation. Servers are well versed in the menu, which is a big plus, and provide impeccable, yet unobtrusive service. Reservations a must, visited on a Tuesday and it was at capacity. (A good thing).
I am between a 4 and 5 start on Lagniappe, so I might increase this later. This may be the best value in the area for the quality you receive. The foods is always excellent, and the service is good (although can feel a bit off some nights). I love the little bar area as you enter. It is small, so make a reservation.

Great wraps is such an amazing restaurant! They are always quick with getting your food and it always tastes delicious! They also do take out so you can just run in and order and be out in less than 10 minutes! The Californian is my favorite and I've had almost every sandwich and wrap there! I definitely suggest Great wraps to everyone!
Good wrap and great value. Highly recommend it for a lunch. It's about time that New Berlin gets something "fresh".
I was feeling wraps today for lunch & found this place (courtesy Yelp ...ofcourse). Ordered the Chipotle Chicken on Wheat tortilla..and I must say..excellent meal for lunch. Full of Flavor & just the right amount saucy. Washed it down with some OJ. Healthy, Tasty, healthy & just the right sized meal - Perfect Lunch. Will be coming back soon to try out other wraps & sandwiches. In the mean time, keep yelping & helping!

Good sports bar. GoldenTee/Pool/Darts/Basketball Game/Buck Hunter. Good craft beer selection... but definitely needs to mix up the draft selection more often. Had almost the same beer menu from a couple months ago. Haven't tried the food yet.
I wanted a burger and a good beer for lunch and I decided to finally try the Cleveland pub and grill a try. I have driven past it for years thinking when am I going to stop over. The place has plenty of parking in there lot in front of the place. There is a out door patio on each side of the main entrance that looked like you can only access from the foyer. When you walk in its very spacious with wood floors and wood everywhere. There is plenty of bar space and tables that are high or regular height. Plenty of flat screen tvs with various sports playing. The place had a modern industrial look with all the ceiling support and hvac system exposed. The place is very nice and not cheap or divvy in any way. The bar has eight coolers filled with various beers etc. It looked the bar has approx 20 tap beers to choose from and all the usual hard liquor. I had there most popular tap which was a good/cold IPA. The online menu is out of date and most items are more expensive, I will post some pictures with examples. The menu is also changed because the for a dollar more up charge was gone with my order and included now in the higher price, no for a dollar extra you can get onion rings because onion rings is a side option now. I had the brewer burger rare with onion rings. At first I was disappointed because at first glance it looked like hay string onions were on the side of my burger. At closer look it's onion rings with that style batter and I was fooled. The plate was very intimating looking so I asked for a box because I was not expecting that much food. See my pictures. Let's start with those onion rings, holly fuc#ing cow were the onion rings amazing. They were not frozen at all but real fresh onions that still had a crunch to them. They were very tasty and impressive. I asked if they are house made just to confirm and they are. The burger was impressive looking and I could tell by looking at it even before my first bite that they got the rare right. The bacon had a nice smoke flavor that went well with the grill flavor of the beef. The burger was juicy and tasty since it was not cooked to death. The burger was one of the better ones out there and I will give them that. Overall this place has great burgers and beer and I was impressed that it was not average bar food. I would definitely go back for a burger.
Great food, good environment, friendly staff. I go there regularly after work. Happy hour specials, as well as specials on food. One of the best Perch fish dinners Ive had, try the red potatoes with cheese as your side. Individual pizzas and burgers are tasty yet very cheap especially when they are on special. Always seems pretty busy too...
