Food: Real Gyros not frozen from a box. Everything made to order and cooked in front of you. Consistently great. Service: Fast and personal. Owner on site. Price: $10-12 sandwich, sode & drink. Comments: You will nt go away hungry!

The boyfriend and I wandered in here on a whim, and unfortunately lunch was not worth the $18 we spent. The owner was clearly more interested in bantering with us than in getting our order right -- when I asked if he could put hummus on my falafel sandwich, he made a joke about a $5 upcharge, and then...didn't put hummus on my sandwich. The falafel balls were too large, and thus slightly burned -- yuck! The boyfriend's gyro was light on the meat, and the dolma were nothing special. Both sandwiches promptly fell apart and had more lettuce/tomato/onion than anything else. We did enjoy sitting outside after we cleared the dishes off the table. Inside was rather dark and dingy, and I didn't want to give the obnoxious owner any further chances to make jokes or call me honey. Obviously, I would not return here, nor would I recommend it to anyone else. Mediterranean food shouldn't be that hard...right?

I still like this place because its different from burgers and bar food. However, it hasn't tasted quite as good as the first time. Also, I met what I'm fairly certain is the owner or manager- an older gentleman- a few Saturdays ago. Thought he was being friendly until I realized he was simply looking down my shirt. Not just once, but I caught him doing it several times until I put my jacket on. Frickin creepy! I will probably still get food here, but it will be take out from now on.
