I'm new to the area and thought I'd finally finally try the only Italian place in town. The wait staff was nice and the place was clean. The garlic bread was Texas toast. (Frozen and available at well every grocery store) the salad was 95% iceberg lettuce and a thin slice of tomato with a few croutons. My son and I ordered a pasta dish each. Sauces tasted bland and from a bottle. The meat was good. Probably a bunch of nice people working here...I'm not trying to be mean...was just disappointed is all. Prices are fine.

Ive ordered from Vince's for the last time! This place is a joke their staffs mistakes made my food take well over and hour and a half for arrival and I was not eligible for a discount. I had ordered food for my family the other evening and was quoted 30 to 45 minutes for delivery after an hour and still no food I called to see what was taking so long to only find out they had taken down the wrong address and I asked why they hadn't called me to get the correct address they said they did call but oh imagine that the phone number was wrong too I was told they had confirmed my address and the only thing they could do give me a credit for next time and I was to pay for my food. I was not asking for anything for free but I felt for there mess up a discount was necessary for cold late food but they wanted full price for it so I refused to pay and sent the food back. needless to say there will never be a next time.

Great service & will do anything to make sure you leave happy. Amazing food all the way from the Italian Beef sandwich, to the Chicken Broccoli Mushroom Pasta Bake, to the Lemon Buttered Salmon.

What a lovely place! I enjoyed everything from the inside out. Our waitress was super nice and the restaurant was quick with getting our orders out. The appetizers were your basic fried onions, jalapeno poppers, and mozzarella sticks...and they were good! I ordered the linguine with shrimp and scallops (or as the menu states: Scllops) and it was good and filling. It was somewhat warmer in there and I found myself beginning to sweat, but the atmosphere and food made up for it. I hope to be back soon.

A great italian restaurant located right in the center of monroe wisconsin. This restaurant offers and authentic line of Italian food, desserts, and a full bar. I enjoyed my time at this restaurant. The service was good warm atmosphere, great for a family gathering.

Vince's is your standard American Italian restaurant. It is not authentic Italian. We order pizza quite a lot from Vince's. The pan pizza is my favorite. I found the pasta dishes are much better ordered in. Sometimes the dishes tend to be a bit heavy on the garlic. But, overall Vince's is good for what it is.

Just stopping by to comment on Vince's in Monroe, WI. They have added a choice option on their pasta menu. Their portions are huge to start with and my wife and I often would by a meal and share it at home. The new menu feature offers to split the meal for you with (2)unlimited garlic bread, and soup or salad for (at the time of this review) around 16 dollars. Because the portions are large to start with you end up with a great meal for $8 per. Vince's quality is consistent (some I prefer to others) and they are handicapped accessible. The offer wine (and beer?) along with the standard beverage offerings, including a good selection of tea and herbals. We visit there often because of their consistent performance, good service and quick turn around.

This appears to be a classy joint when you walk in. It's clean and everything looks new (maybe it is). However, after 5 minutes you realize it's understaffed, and you appear to be annoying the one person on duty. This place might be ok for a drink before you move on elsewhere, but I wasn't even interested in the food by the time the drinks came 25 minutes after we arrived. A look at the menu told me it was standard take-out / delivery faux Italian, but I could be wrong. The waitress was extremely unhelpful, choosing to respond, "No," to most questions, rather than the typical customer service response of, "No, but we do have..." I can't say I blame her. I think she was the only person on duty. Still, the overall experience was underwhelming and offered no reason to return.

Abysmal food. I had the Vodka Chicken. The chicken tasted like a kitchen sponge soaked in chicken juice. Avoid this place at all cost.

Not bad, not bad. I had their chicken bacon ranch pizza. It was pretty good, the crust was not as thin as I was expecting for an Italian style pizza but still pretty good. The wine was alright. The staff was friendly, but I feel bad for them, seemed kind of slow for a Friday night.

The Pizza is great. It has a middle of the road crust, not too thick, not too thin. I had Italian beef with sweet potato fries. Both were excellent. Great taste on the Italian beef. My wife had the Italian sausage with mostaccioli and said it was very good. The Tiramisu was great and the coffee flavor wasn't overpowering, which is nice. I like to have it there, but not overpowering. My wife said the Cannoli was great as well.

I really don't have much to say about Vince's. Aside from the pizza, which is ok, the food isn't really all that great. I've tried them a couple times and was not overly thrilled. I mean, when the tiramasu comes still frozen in the middle you know you're not getting quality italian food!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
