Deep fried bacon was a huge portion but the bacon wasn't crispy at all and was very fatty. Our burger on the other hand, the Southern Hog, was out of this world! Fries were delicious too! Wait staff was very friendly!

Fish fry was quite good for my girlfriend. I ordered a burger. Their menu said fresh never frozen patties so I ordered a medium burger with a fried egg. Well, it came out out looking great but the taste wasn't so great. Do you know when you get a pre made burger out of a pan of 50 sitting in hot water? That is how it tasted. I squeezed the meat and water came out. And they fish fry. Fish was good! Lite texture, but they ran out of tartar. Order carefully.

Haven't been in a while, but this was one of my favorite places to go as a kid. We have a nearby cabin and would go there often. Great food.

The Longbranch is always a must-stop for me when I'm in Minong. A friend of mine has a place on Gilmore Lake, so I get out to this area maybe once or twice a year. The Longbranch is a great local gem -- delicious pizza, strong and cheap drinks, and pool tables! Judy, the bartender here, is AWESOME! She is so friendly, super knowledgeable about the area, and makes a great drink! Definitely swing in here for some pizza and a beer if you're in the area -- I certainly will continue to stop here whenever I am in town.

The decor and restaurant space in general have been in a slow decline over the past few years. What was once a very attractive dining room now looks very careworn and tatty. If you visit in the winter, cozy up to the heater in the dining room, as it gets a bit chilly the farther away from the heat you get. Good if not great pulled pork and BBQ ribs. Friendly servers. Not worth a special trip, but a decent option if you're in the neighborhood.

Ate here twice while on a fishing trip near Minong, and it was great both times. The burgers are the stars here. Hand made patties and cooked just right. Plenty of interesting toppings too. The German pizza with sauerkraut was stellar as well. Decent beer selection and good service. A perfect place for a burger and a cold one after a day on the lake.

We enjoyed a warm and cozy dinner next to the wood burning stove. The pizza was excellent! The burger with jalapenos was great! The gyros sandwich I had was quite good. We were too late for dessert which sounded fabulous. A Sunday evening was ok for kids, I'm not sure about the bar scene for kids at another time of the week. We all enjoyed the antique logging and farming equipment on the walls, worn wood floors, and old fashioned metal tile walls and ceiling. The place was relaxed, comfortable, friendly and inviting. We'll go back again!

Have tried many menu items at this restaurant. Love the pizza, tacos are good too. Hamburgers are good. Walleye and fish fry is good. (Am I sounding redundant?) I really like their wraps. Ribs were a little too spicy for me (I'm a spice wimp). Corned beef hash is homemade and excellent. Pancakes and French toast are great. Omelets are good sized. One of this place's best features is their homemade soups, two different soup choices each day, and most are awesome, especially the cream soups. The clam chowder has really big pieces of clams in it. Service is friendly. Drinks very reasonably priced. Definitely one of the best options for eating in the area.
