Many people must be wondering how could I, a recently converted Pesco-Vegetarian, could have ended up in a place that has "Hamburgers" in its name. Well, this is the honest truth- I had to poop. This wasn't no ordinary poop either. Maybe it's my stomach getting accustomed to the hummus, or possibly I took in more protein than I should making up for the missing meat, but I had to go. This was butt-clenching, turtle-head poking, changing multiple lanes on Layton while running in grabbing my butt bathroom emergency. So Wendy's was the lucky recipient of my daily deposit. If I was rating this restaurant on its bathroom alone, it would be four stars. While it could use some updating to bring it into this millennium, it was impeccably clean and had a large door on the stall with an actual doorknob that locked. I feel very vulnerable when I'm dropping a deuce in one of those stalls with the flimsy doors and walls, imagine my delight when I found that this stall door was not only thicker than my bathroom door at home, but also my dead bolted front door. You'll never feel more secure when nature calls. When the Zombie Apocalypse hits, I'll be pooping here. You know, Momma W. has taught her baby boy manners and proper etiquette. Proper etiquette states that if I use the facilities at a business, I should purchase something. I thought this would be the place for a perfect lunch salad. This is where I slipped up. I thought I would grab a big salad and a baked potato. I went up to the counter and quickly found out that all the salads come with a pound of fried chicken patties cut up on top of them. So I passed, and when I found out the only salads without meat were their dinky side salads, I said "screw it" and got a chicken sandwich combo meal. I quickly learned that I should have stuck with the dinky salads. My combo meal came with the aforementioned plain chicken sandwich, with a tropical fruit Honest T and the natural cut fries. The chicken was bland, soggy and lacked any flavor. People who are new to Veganism or Vegetarianism, if you feel like your slipping up, come here and eat this sandwich. You'll never eat meat again. As far as my drink goes, I like Honest T (especially their Half and Half), but this drink tasted like someone took bottled Lipton Iced Green Tea (the worst green tea IMO) and mixed it with tropical punch Kool-Aid. There was a lemonade stand a couple blocks away serving better drinks. As far as my fries go, if you've ever licked a salt lick before, you've had these fries. I thought they were going to sea salt to be healthier, how is putting two pounds of salt on anything healthy? I'm not even sure there was a potato under all that salt. Next winter forget buying rock salt, come here, grab a couple biggie size fries and put them on your sidewalk. Dr. Dawg was right across the street, why couldn't I clench harder? I gave a star for the bathroom, and I gave another star for the nice Grandmother working the afternoon shift. What's with all these nice Grandma's working at various establishments across the South Side spoiling my baby? Don't get me wrong, I love it, but you girls should be retired and enjoying your own Grand babies. Stupid economy! This nice lady gave my young daughter a free picture book, even though she didn't get the kids meal and only had fries. Make sure you go to the bathroom before you leave the house.

Well, overall I enjoy Wendy's food, especially the burgers and fries. They are definitely a step above Mcdonalds. The meat actually tastes beefy and it's thicker. As for Wendy's chicken sandwiches, I don't care for them. This location in particular is pretty outdated, inside and out, yet it's clean. The place is a bit reminicsient of fast food joints from my youth. The food is pretty good here, but I have had better. Service is fast and friendly. I dig the #1 combo, filling and tasty and just the right price. The location is a bit hidden behind Kopps and just west of 76th street, I forget that the place is here. So, if you are in the Southridge area and u want an alternative to Mcds or BK, Wendy's is there for ya, lol. Slightly above average, but don't expect to be blown away. I will probably go here again

The food at Wendy's isn't bad and most of it is okay priced but the customer service at this location leaves something to be desired. As we were ordering, the lady taking the order rudely interrupted my husband to ask a question about what he wanted to drink. If she had waited 5 seconds for him to finish talking / giving his order, she would have known what he wanted because he would have told her. You also have a better chance of getting halfway decent service by going through the drive-thru. Going inside takes way too long.

I usually get the #1 (cheeseburger combo) and it's really good. A step up from a McDonald's burger but one step down from a Burger King one. Their new "natural" cut sea salt fries I could without, though.

Review is based upon service of this location only. Eaten at other Wendys and I like the food. I have to admit, only eat there like 2-3 a year but I will definitely go to another location to eat. The people behind the counter just DO NOT LISTEN. They are so programed on what to say they do not listen to the customer. Example: ordered a cheeseburger for my son, ketchup only - got the burger, ketchup only - no cheese. C'mon! really?! If I wanted a hamburger, would have ordered a hamburger. Another example, same order: Chicken sandwich combo, "Can I get a bottle of water with that instead of soda?" She answers "I don't know" and went about her business - Well I don't know either that is why I am asking!!! WOW - then she asked me if I wanted fries - well yes, they are part of the combo. With so many people needing jobs, how do people like this get hired and keep a job?! Never will go back to this location, this was the last straw.

This is the WORST ran fast food joint. I was there the other day going through the drive thru. I ordered one of burgers deals. I had to pull forward and wait for my food. 15mins later i get my large combo. Well, large fries, small drink? When i said something the kid went back in the store. I followed him in because my food was cold after waiting 15mins should of been steaming hot. He gave me a large soda. I ordered a large diet coke. He gave me a large regular soda. I asked for my money back. The manager said to bad you didn't get what you want, but here is your money now get out of my store. Wow, they don't think people will pass the word especially in this troubled economy, they are truly misstaken. Never eat here EVER.
