I LOVE RC's!....mostly in the summer. Relatively no drama. SPECTACULAR BEER GARDEN! Get a pitcher and a pizza for ten bucks, Thursdays you can get three baby beers for 3 dollars. Me and my best friend made this 'our place', and it should be easy for you to make it your place too,

Ooh. This strange dive bar feels like... well, I'm not exactly sure. I've only ever been here a handful of times in my many years of residency in the Mil, and to be frank, it's because this place isn't my speed. That said, I always try to go into places with a relatively open mind in the hopes that I'll end up impressed or surprised. Color me no so impressed with RCs. It's just that between the concrete floors and the strange vibe and super bro-tastic ambiance, I feel like I'm in a huge shed or boathouse or basement or something. Top forty-ish music and lots of Red Bull and if that's your thing, this place seems fine... but couple the strange vibe with a super off-kilter ambiance, and you just get "off" in total. The outside patio area is kind of nice, and actually, I did have a ton of fun with my friends here one time, so there's that.

RC's is a fun place. It has a really, really fun group of regulars that (in my mind) are only alive to take Milwaukee to the max. Once you step into the bar, you pick up the RC's energy. People are there for one reason... get drunk. With an ancillary reason of having fun. This bar has its time and place. If somebody names this as a destination... I'm there.

I must say I am quite honored to be the first to review this bar. My buddy can not talk about the weekend without mentioning RC's. Of course I had to go. Driving by this place looks like a crappy dive bar. Looks sketchy. I was so surprised to find it's actually cool! Yeah it's kind of dumpy--but that's what you expect. Lots of people just having a good time. Plus for the aforementioned buddy it's like Cheers. Everyone knew his name. Cool outside area. Plus plus all around.

This place is... OK... It has a little bit of a dive-y type feel to it but it isn't bad. It almost looks like an old style dinner place from the outside but with a nifty old-style bar feel to it on the inside. They have a really long bar and generally a lot of bar tenders on which is nice because you don't stand there waiting for a drink for a long time. The staff is nice, attentive, and fast! Their beer garden? Pretty spectacular! They have a bunch of novelty type items that give it some character, random character I suppose but character none the less! They have some odd priced specials which aren't bad but just strange like a $1.75 PBR tap? $1.75? Not $1 or $2? I digress... This place has got some hidden fun in it that isn't justified by it's appearance, I also feel like one side of the place is lop-sided haha.

RC's is pretty decent in the Summer with the garden but overall it's nothing special. Just another one of those dive bars on North.
